@Gustavo Moraes Unfortunately, you won't be able to do that. You just need to train your agents of the implications of doing this. Regards, Fabian

Hi Danielle, You can use jira forms. When minor is selected you can use a condition in the form to display the approver. You may also want to use jira automation to transition the ticket to approval once the ticket is created. The condition of course would be that the ticket is classified as "minor". Fabian

Saludos, Fabian
-
Hi @Giulio Venturino We combine automation to make this work. 1. So at specific transition, you would attach the form to the ticket and make the form available externally. 2. Then the portal user would have to submit the form. 3. Make sure that you don't expose the transition in the portal. 4. There is an automation…

@Adriana Arévalo I don't think there is an easy way to do it via automations other than using a script to capture the original email's address and then copying that email address to the reporter's field. I will let other chime in for other solutions.

@Prithwish Basu In the change calendar the option to filter with the Assets fields is not showing. We only see the system and Services field. Is this something that you would be working on? It would be also nice to have the new fields for filtering. Everything else looks great. Fabian

Hi @Adriana Arévalo I'm confused. just to confirm, they create an email to you and then you send it to Jira? Wouldn't it make more sense to have them send the ticket to the inbox that is set in your jira project directly? That way, you don't need an automation to populate this information and the reporter information would…

Hola @Jhael Gomez 1. Saludos, Fabian

Hi @Mike Thomas To be honest, you will be better off by just purchasing the app via the marketplace. The top ones in the search will do the job for you. Having to build this with automations and calendars is just a waste of time and effort. Focus on real value instead. Regards, Fabian

Hi @Diversus Administrator Welcome to the community! Unfortunately, there is no way to do this out of the box. You will have to manually copy and paste which workflow are used in each project, which would be a nightmare. Feel free to request an Atlassian Feature for this one. Good Luck!

If by phone you mean the app, you can escalate the alert or add a responder to the incident ticket and they would get paged. It sounds complex, but to me it's just getting used it. Atlassian does things very differently from other platforms. Having the ability to have one ITSM platform with both incident management and…

Yes, pro-forma is the one.

Hi @Johan Kritzinger Welcome to the community! 1) You can set your profile settings to disable notifications -> https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/manage-your-jira-personal-settings/ 2) There different sounds, but I don't know if it will be different from a jira ticket or alert:…

Hi @Dorian Schauwers For Data Center, you may want to explore Pro-Form forms. It won't put all the attachments into one form, but you can create a long form which can be updated at different stages in the workflow and then when it's ready you can export it. The form can also be populated with custom field values. I hope…

Ok I understand. You can use a third party plugin like Actions for Service Desk or Feature bundle. Essentially you will have to ask the user to transition the ticket and then you can have a pop up where they can add the comments and make the participants field mandatory. this would be one of the work arounds I can think…
-
Hi @RJ Foltz The only workaround would be to have an email/text field/user field and have them populate it and make it mandatory. Then you can use automation to populate the participant information. The details of the automation would depend on what kind of field you are using. Regards, Fabian

Hi @Carolyn McNicoll Welcome to the community! One of the ways I work around is that I have assets all mapped out with the employees objects. You can use discovery platforms such as Intune/Jamf/lansweeper/Virima etc. So when they report a ticket, I know exactly what they own and it's accessible in the ticket. Regards,…

This is beautiful! Thank you!

Very well done. Thanks for sharing.

Hi @Eshaa Sood Any roadmap dates on when this will be supported the other way? (i.e. Pushing Sandbox configurations to Production). Thanks, Fabian

@Tomislav Tobijas You are welcome!

Saludos, Fabian

@Steven Mezzadri You have to get the user's account ID. If it's fixed it should be easy, go to the user's profile and get the ID. It should be the long digit number in the URL. Now, you can also get this information from a Jira's user custom field. And then user smart value like: {{assignee.accountId}} or…
-
Hi @Steven Mezzadri You need to use the edit action on the Request participants field. The value needs to be an Jira Account ID in order to work though. Regards, Fabian
-
Hi @[deleted] Welcome to the community! I agree with your assessment. Atlassian needs to finalize the schedule imports to Data Manager and the export to the object schemas. Since the product is still in beta, your feedback is valuable for Atlassian. Currently, we have the Airtrack functionality for cleanup and…

Yes, I did notice that. Always good to have a few org admins available.
-
Hi @Konstantin Dubiel I would suggest using powerscripts or scriptrunner to perform this. Doing it with automation would be a nightmare. If this a one time thing, trial it and then remove it. Regards, Fabian

Hi @Calvin You are correct. Also you need to assign members as team administrators so that they can add members, configure schedules and integrations. Regards, Fabian
