@Suvidhaa M S the functionality you describe does occur - if a document is updated in the Confluence Mobile app, the workflow will put the page in the "Draft" state. That is the default behaviour of the Document Management app. I should note that the UI does not appear inside the Confluence Mobile app, but the UI can be…

@[deleted] @Bill Bailey Comala Document Management cannot do that natively, but it could be done with scripting; use Document Management to get a page into a state, then run a PowerScript that moves the pages in that state to a specific space. If you're just looking to move from a draft space to a published space, then…

Hi @Ben , Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, it seems like this issue will be difficult to resolve inside the Community Forum. Would you mind creating a ticket in our support portal and we can provide you better help there? https://support.comalatech.com Best regards Mike Rink Head of Product Comalatech

Hi @Ben , Sorry you're running into an issue with Comala Document Management. Just to confirm, you're missing the "view approved" link that will sometimes appear next to the workflow status? The "view approved" will only appear on a page that has been through the approval process at least once, and then is edited so that…

Hi @amit.kakkar , sorry to hear you're having issues with Comala Read Confirmations. The first obvious place to look would be in your installed apps, to ensure that Read Confirmations has been installed, and has an appropriate license. Assuming that is fine, then it certainly seems like you should be able to see the "Read…

Thanks so much for nominating my article, @Bridget , I really appreciate it!

Hi @Bernard Mortreu (or is it Nathalie?). The "comment" field in the workflow dialog box is meant to allow reviewers to add a comment when they give their approval. It is not meant to communicate information to the next assigned reviewer. If you're trying to send a customized message to an approver when they are assigned,…

Hi @Joe G , You can use a trigger to send an email once a page hits a specific state (in your case, you would trigger it on the last state). If you have an email alias for your whole team, like team@foo.com, that would notify everyone. You can customize the content in the email as well. Here's complete instructions on our…

@Justin Christopherson sounds like an interesting use case you have. Comala Document Management Cloud shows the byline (page state) to anyone who has permissions to edit pages in the Space. In cases like yours, where you want more separation between draft and published content, we typically recommend another of our apps,…
-
Welcome to the Community @Nicolas Schleicher It sounds like you might want to use Confluence templates? This wouldn't prevent people from changing content on the page, but it would ensure pages are created with a standard format. Here's a little more information from the Confluence…
-
@Emily Guerin welcome to the Community! Without knowing all the Groups in your Confluence instance, this is a bit of a tricky question to answer. Generally speaking, there is a default group called confluence-users that every person in your instance should belong to. If you have admin access you can see all the groups…

Hi @Craig Senior , our apps' documentation is written and shared in Confluence - https://wiki.comalatech.com. We use our own app, Comala Publishing, to manage a publishing process that separates draft content from final content. Everything is published to space that has anonymous access, and thus is viewable by our…
-
Hi @Tom Wardak , not sure if you're considering apps, but our app Comala Publishing is built to handle exactly this kind of use case - moving pages from one space to another set-up for anonymous access. If you're in Data Center you can also specify which labels you're using to identify pages to published. Hope this helps!
-
@Emanuel Jianu our app, Comala Lists, allows you to bulk-add labels to a number of pages at once. We made a video demonstrating the functionality: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJJfXykav8c
-
@Edelberto Junior I believe Scoll PDF Exporter allows you to actually embed attachments directly into PDFs. You need to open them with a "real" PDF reader (like Adobe Reader). Might be something to look into.

Thanks for the great answer, @Ismael Jimoh !
-
Hey @Erik Berggren , sorry to hear you're having issues with our app. Just to clarify - Comala Document Management is working fine on other pages in this same Confluence instance, but not on this one page? Either way, I suggest creating a ticket in our support portal: https://support.comalatech.com . Our team there can…

@[deleted] that functionality is not currently on the roadmap, but I will definitely pass on that feedback to the product team. Best of luck, and let me know if I can help with anything else.

Hello again, Stephen, In regards to this question, unfortunately it can’t be updated; the header or headertemplate option is used to display a Page Template, and Page template variables can’t be updated. Template/blueprint variables can be referenced in workflows, if the variables are placed in Page Properties macro. For…
-
Hi Stephen, Welcome to the Atlassian Community! I understand that you want to show different versions of metadata depending on if your users are viewing the draft or published versions. It is not possible with the pageheader macro and with one variable. However, if there are 2 variables - DraftVariable and…

@Tinker Fadoua showing (once again) why she is a superstar Community Leader! Thanks so much for responding. You are totally right that Comalatech has Comala Publishing in the Cloud. However, just a minor correction - the app can actually be found at this…
-
Hi @jerry.bokser , That use case is precisely what influenced us to develop our Read Confirmations feature. You can assign Confluence users to read pages, and then they will be prompted to confirm that they have read them. "Reads" can be tracked to ensure you're getting the responses you need, and due dates can be assigned…

@Debra Graham , just following up on @Daryl Karan's comment above, I'd also encourage you to reach out to us to give your feedback. We certainly want to try and turn those 5's into 10's for you and our other users. Please do send an email to support@comalatech.com and we can set up a call to get your feedback. Thanks, Mike…

Congrats to all the winners - your hard work paid off! Great to see so many entries into this edition of the contest.

No problem, best of luck.

Thanks @pauline . Unfortunately, I don't know of an app that contains templates for all of that. One of our apps, Comala Document Control, can help with content management of a KB database, but it doesn't come with specific Confluence page templates. Essentially, you use our app to control the visibility and approval of…

Hi Pauline! Are you looking to meet ISO 13485 requirements? Are those the requirements you're referring to? If so, you might want to check out Soft Comply's eQMS app which includes templates for everything you need: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1216218/softcomply-eqms?hosting=cloud&tab=overview

@wa1_kh00 I've never implemented Linchpin myself, but I would suspect that it would be smoother working with a Solutions Partner. The firm behind the app, Seibert Media, would be able to give you a better answer about that. It is an app in the ecosystem specifically designed to work with Confluence.
-
Great topic @Brittany Sudlow ! We decided to make some COVID-19 related donations as a part of our Pledge 1% commitment. Our team used a Confluence page to take submissions/make decisions about which charities to support. Not necessarily a "fun" way to use Confluence, but it was a good morale booster :)

What instantly comes to mind is Linchpin - https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1220341/linchpin-intranet-suite?hosting=server&tab=overview Certainly the top app for Intranets, in my mind.
