FYI @Vanessa Lucien & @Pascal Werner we did co-write a blog about ISO 13485 compliance and Confluence. You can view it here: https://comalatech.com/the-challenges-and-best-practices-of-developing-software-for-medical-devices/ Happy to help if you have further questions.

@Ally Lancaster based on your screenshots, it looks like you actually haven't set a minimum of reviews in the "QA Approval" State. That may be the reason the workflow won't advance. As for the reporting issue, it's hard to say why that's happening, but from past experience sometimes a reindexing of Confluence sorts that…
-
Hi @Teri , have you tried re-indexing Confluence? That may resolve the issue: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/content-index-administration-148844.html
-
Hi @Teri , Unfortunately you can't run a workflow on an unpublished page. One common work around is to use Confluence's page restrictions to hide the page from view until it is approved, then Workflows can automatically remove the restrictions. Let me know if this would meet your needs and I can provide some more detailed…

It's true you can only copy whole spaces, or single pages, but you can indicate which pages you don't want to publish. So, you could have a space with a mix of pages-to-be-published, and some marked to not be published. It's explained a little more here: https://wiki.comalatech.com/display/AHP/_2.9+Release+Notes+Common…
-
Hi @Priska Aprilia , without knowing a little bit more about what you're trying to do, it's hard for me to point you in the right direction. Feel free to email me at mike@comalatech.com with an explanation and I'd be happy to help :)

@Lynne Randolph glad that sorted it. Some users choose to deploy their Global workflows with labels, so that only the pages with the specified label get that workflow applied it. Might not be a fit for your case, but you can learn more here: https://wiki.comalatech.com/display/CWL/Space+mode+workflow+application (it refers…
-
Hi @Lynne Randolph , if you open the mark-up editor, it should have the following state: {state} {state:Published|final=true|rejected=Reviewed|updated=Ready|hideselection=true} {state} If your 'updated' goes to Ready, then you'll want to edit it to be Draft. That should sort out the issue. The 'Ready' is the default that…
-
Hi @Kobus Myburgh , my mistake - I didn't realize you are in the cloud. Yes, the Comala Workflows app is for server/data center only, not the cloud. We do have an app for cloud, Comala Workflows Lite, that has a "content expiry" workflow, which transitions pages to an "expired" state after a pre-set due date. We explain…

Hi @Sunita shelar It seems some garbage was added to the end of the links. Here's the proper ones: https://wiki.comalatech.com/display/CWL/Adding+Multiple+Reviews https://wiki.comalatech.com/display/CWL/Workflow+setup
-
@Anand Rajaraman hopefully this is what you're looking for: https://wiki.comalatech.com/display/AHP/How+Comala+Publishing+works
-
@Nayef Harb , What you've noticed is the expected behaviour - in order for a reviewer to approve a page, they must have "Edit" permissions. There is no work around, as this is the default behaviour.
-
Hi @Sunita shelar , there are a few different ways of working with reviewer groups. You may want to review this page in our documentation, which talks about multiple reviews: https://wiki.comalatech.com/display/CWL/Adding+Multiple+Reviews. I would also point you towards our article about parameters, which is also another…
-
Hey @PADMA KOTHAKOTA you might want to try tying a label to your space workflow. You can learn more about that here: https://wiki.comalatech.com/display/CWL/Space+mode+workflow+application. Note that there is an option to "exclude" labels, whereby workflows are only applied to pages that do not have a specific label.
-
@Anand Rajaraman - @Jonathan Smith has made a great suggestion, but you may also want to look at Comala Publishing, which allows you to separate your draft and published content into separate spaces.
-
Hi @fayaz jira , "Share this Page" is hard-coded into the app, so there is no way to change it. If you let me know what your use case is, I can take your feedback to our product team so they can log it.
-
For future visitors reading this answer, using Workflows for this purpose does work but it requires an additional app, Comala Remote Publishing.
-
This is correct, but note that the send-email macro has to be used within a trigger, which should be "listening" for the final state. More info on triggers is here: https://wiki.comalatech.com/display/CWL/trigger+macro

At Comalatech we're very fortunate to work with a ton of amazing app companies, including apps from K15t, cPrime, Communardo, and many many others. But, recently we fell in love with RefinedTheme for Confluence by RefinedWiki. We installed it on our Product Documentation instance, and the new theme is much more in line…
-
Hi @Naren, are the pages in a single space? You could use the Workflow activity report for that: https://wiki.comalatech.com/display/CWL/Workflow+Report+Macro+-+States. If that doesn't work out, you may find Service Rocket's Reporting app useful for building a dashboard of statuses.

Happy new year YVR AUG - I look forward to seeing you all there!
-
HI @tiaan.schulz, our app Comala Workflows seems like it would be a good fit for this, provided that your users are signed in (and not anonymous users). It can't work exactly as you've indicated, but it could get pretty close. There is an evaluation license available for the app, and I'd love to answer any questions you…
-
Great news!
-
Hey @Mark Bishop1, not sure if you're still in the market for a Cloud Approvals app, but our app Comala Approvals has been renamed to Comala Workflows Lite. You can find out more about it here: Comala Workflows Lite. As to your question about why Comala Workflows isn't available on Cloud, rest assured that we are working…
-
Hopping on @Aron Gombas _Midori_'s comment, you must first have a free Community license for your Atlassian products; more information about acquiring one can be found here: https://www.atlassian.com/software/views/community-license-request

Glad I could help!
-
Hi @Parthiban Narayanasamy, you shouldn't notice any major difference in performance when using Comala Workflows in a large instance. The app does carry the "data center" tag in the Atlassian Marketplace, meaning it is compatible with the clustering and high-availability capabilities of Confluence. We have placed some…
-
Hi @Parthiban Narayanasamy, you've got it exactly right - the size of your Comala Workflows must match that of your Confluence instance, so you'd need a 25K Workflows license.
-
Hi @nitesht87 the best way to help with this is through our support channels. It seems like you already have a ticket created for this, is that correct? Let me know if not and I will send you a link to our Service Desk portal.

Hi @Oliver Kubon You should be able to format the text in the body of the email with Confluence Wiki Markup - https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/confluence-wiki-markup-251003035.html. It doesn't include any kind of center justification, but there are lots of options for making the text look better. Have you tried this…
