My favorite beer is Hoegaarden which is a Belgium Wit Beer. It also has some history in Austin, Texas which is where I currently live! The Austin version of the beer is Celis White, but they recently went bankrupt :(

Awesome! I always have excuses to not wake up early and go to the gym before work. Maybe this will help inspire me!

This year we played a card game called "True or False" where there are two teams and you take turns asking each other whether a statement is True or False. We had about a 50% success rate on the answers and I learned a lot of interesting facts that I will probably never use again!

Very impressive! My grandma used to always beat me in cards :P

I typically play board games or card games with my extended family when we are together for the holidays. Over the last few years some one has always received some type of trivia or card game that we play together. For board games we have played Sorry! a couple of times as it was always my mom's favorite.

I have never heard of Supaplex before but looked it up. Did you ever beat all the levels?

I used to love watching the transformers cartoons with my friends. It was cool to see them made into movies over the past decade!

@Fernando Bordallo have you tried Yoga at the office yet? I need to go sometime!

I really enjoy going on short to medium range hikes with my wife. We often go on hikes on the Austin Green Belt which is a couple of miles from downtown Austin. I especially liked hiking to Nocelle in Italy and the Pipiwai trail in Hawaii last year.

Hi @Mirek , Awesome post. This was a great idea for Fun Friday. I had a couple of books with some of these images growing up :)

Hoping that zombies cannot swim I would probably go to a nice island such as Hawaii or Australia. Thinking of zombies reminds me of the white walkers from Game of Thrones. Assuming the wall wasn't broken I would probably just stay south of the wall!

Hopefully Mandy lets the other Jira Align folks and I hide out on her property. If not I would probably swim to an island or something hoping zombies can not swim.

Hi everyone, Some of my biggest mistakes at work have been tied to getting lost when leading convoys in the Army. There were a couple of times I turned down the wrong road during a training mission and it took an hour or two to get every going back in the right direction. Luckily I was a Second Lieutenant (2LT) at the time…

Hi everyone, I am really new to the Atlassian community but my favorite moment so far was when we launched the Jira Align Community. Historically Jira Align's help center in zendesk required a Jira Align account to access. We eventually made out help center public to the internet but it did not have the same level of…

Hi Fernando, The head of Jira Align, Steve Elliott, did a demo utilizing some Atlassian data during the global town hall on August 16th. You can watch the video when signed into your Atlassian account here (unfortunately this video is not available to non Atlassian email domains) :…

The DNA kit is two check swabs that you send in then you receive info on your dog's bred/ health after a couple of weeks. https://www.chewy.com/wisdom-panel-30-breed-identification/dp/127224 The reviews are mixed so we will see what comes back!

Hi Peter, I believe you were integrating Jira and Jira Align before I even knew what Jira was but here are a few quick tips I have observed over the past two years. 1. Standardize the sprint cadence across teams in Jira and utilize a consistent sprint nomenclature such as "Team Apple PI 1 Sprint 1". It has always been…

Hi Peter and Richard, I do not believe there is an existing thread on the community about what users would like to see with an integration between the two applications. Its definitely an interesting topic if either of you have any suggestions from customers. There is not an existing general access Trello integration with…

Hi Richard, Nic, and Peter, Thank you for the post, questions, and answers. We are finalizing the work for a marketplace plugin of JET and will be releasing additional information as the release date becomes closer. The new version runs additional checks, has a refined design, and is more efficient. I am excited for its…

When I was really young I wanted to be professional soccer player. As I aged I wanted to be a Soldier like my father and ended up becoming 4th generation military. I grew up on military bases as a child so I played a lot of Army in the woods around our houses. It was very exciting when a bunch of the friends that I used to…

I have always been interested in teaching. I plan on getting my PhD in Industrial Engineering one day and doing some teaching on the side or after I retire. I really like the concept of teaching others how to optimize processes and their organizations.

There was an episode somewhat like this on the Netflix show Black Mirror. All the characters in the episode had implants that could store and delete memories. It was kind of cool but freaky episode.

I really enjoyed reading (audio Book): It's Your Ship: Management Techniques from the Best Damn Ship in the Navy, Book by Michael Abrashoff and Extreme Ownership by Jocko Willink & Leif Babin. I find servant leadership to be an exciting topic and can see how real time reporting can facilitate a trust but verify framework.

There are a ton of things that I will save for the eventually article but one of them is the military's After Action Review (AAR) which is real similar to a sprint retrospective meeting. After every mission in the Army we used to conduct an AAR to discuss parts that went well, parts that went poorly, and things we would…

Hi Fernando, I do not see a need to expand the article but on the trend of questions a coach could provide an example of an event from their past and question the team how they would respond to spark meaningful discussion across the team. Cheers!

I really like the Skyride a Busch Gardens in Tampa, FL. I enjoy the cable car style ride that lets you relax as you traverse the park and get to see all the animals below! I went to Epcot with my wife late December and also had a great time on simulated ride Soarin'.

I have a Maltese Poodle named Rory after Rory Gilmore (we were originally going to get a girl dog). We were given a Dog DNA test kit for Christmas so will learn more about what type of dog he is very soon! He is very hyper so we say he has a little bit of terrier in him.
-
I had a gerbil back in college named princess. Now I just have a Maltese Poodle!
-
In Austin I really like the Trailer Park (Fried Chicken Taco) from Torchy's Tacos! I also enjoy the plethora of BBQ choices.

#1 is True. I spent 4 years in Fairbanks, Alaska. We lived on a river where the sled dog races would sometimes pass by and we often found moose in our front yard in the winter. I spent 2 years in Sydney, Australia growing up, but do not remember much outside of a kangaroo stealing my tomato sandwich at one of the parks. I…
