  • Yup! Use the parens to pass an array of values (available for almost all fields where you want to check multiple values, not just statuses). If you're truly trying to search for all issue types, then you don't need to search for any issue types. status changed to ("Done", "Passed", "Complete") during("2020-01-01",…
  • Slight clarification of the "was in... during" JQL. This will give you all tickets that were in any of those statuses during the date range, but it will not tell you if the tickets were actually *moved* to those statuses during the date range - they could have been in that status for a year prior to the start of the range.…
  • @Lydia Hawkridge there is indeed JQL that would let you search that way. Here's an example; you can switch out the issuetype, statuses, and dates. You can also eliminate the From part if you don't care what the original status was, only the status it was changed to. issuetype = Story AND status changed from "Backlog" to…
  • Hi, @Ammar Ahmed Butt - yes, you can do that easily with automation rules. Here's an example; this is an existing rule in one of my systems so there are a few changes you'd make. The rule would live in the originating project, so in your case the Service project. You'd change the trigger to "issue created" instead of using…
  • I figured there's probably no easy way, but I'm not a regular Excel user, aside from viewing files, so I figured I'd put it out there in a community where there are a lot of Excel experts.
  • Yes, in that case you can continue to use the Advanced Compare Condition; just change the condition type to Contains (or Does Not Contain) instead of Does Not Equal.
  • @Sue Lund - you're not doing anything wrong; it does appear they've changed how the export files are formatted. I'm unable to find any documentation regarding this change, but confirmed it in my own instance. For my own use, I posted a question on SuperUser to see if there's an easy Excel formula that would reformat the…
  • @Rafael Hostettler can you please provide screenshots of both end results you're currently seeing? I'm having a hard time visualizing a single board displaying swimlanes in different ways. A screenshot of the board settings Swimlane configuration page would also be helpful.
  • Hi, @Emmanuel F-D . Your advanced compare condition is the problem here. You can use the Does Not Contain option on an Issue Fields condition, rather than Does Not Equal; the condition you're using is attempting to compare exactly the value of two separate fields (i.e. does field A equal field B), rather than checking the…
  • Thank you for the link to the articles dashboard! My first shipped feature request 💖
  • Hi, @Mateusz Janus - If you go to Settings -> Products in your Jira instance, there's a page for DCVS accounts. Click the blue "Link Bitbucket Cloud workspace" button. That should add your team workspace to your start.atlassian.com page, as well as make it available to individual projects' Code page, assuming you use the…
  • @AW yes, I'm aware, which is why we have an automation bot account with limited permissions that we use, rather than a Jira admin's credentials. Our system is also set up to have very strict controls at the project level, so very few people have project admin access and therefore access to view automation rules.
  • @Erik Buchholz I'm sure that's possible. This was intended as the most basic setup instructions.
  • @Jacob Rosenfeld I'm not sure it's possible at this time, since there is no automation in Confluence, and you'd need the creation of a Confluence page to be the trigger. If you have ScriptRunner for both Jira and Confluence it might be doable, but it's not something I have an answer to. If you have serious development…
  • Thanks, @Naresh Naik - great to hear.
  • @matt.hoch Welcome to the Community! The first shot you provided is a user's instance-level permissions. The roles you're referring to (Trusted/Basic/Site Admin) determines if a user is "just" a user, or if they have a limited set of admin permissions to your entire site (including all of your products - Confluence, but…
  • Cool! Here's the repost in the Jira collection: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-articles/Automating-the-creation-of-a-Confluence-page-linked-to-a-Jira/ba-p/1760738
  • What are the guidelines around reposting an article I've already posted in a different collection? I wrote a really detailed post about my favorite automation rule a few months ago in the Jira Admins collection.
  • Wow! I was a figure skater as a kid/teen, too; I was never quite able to manage that Biellmann spin position that you've got there. I live a block from my local ice rink and always want to try again, but I feel like I'm too old. Maybe I'll give it a shot at a Friday night free skate - thanks for the inspiration!
  • I have the same photo as @Daniel Ebers from Barcelona! Most of my older swag is still on my desk in my office; I only have my wearable stuff here at home. The oldest thing I have is my certified hoodie that I got after passing my exam at Summit in 2018.
  • @Arjoon Som - has this information made it into the official documentation? I'm not able to find any reference to it.
  • When looking at the Organization Added customer notification, this is the setup - it's the default message generated by service desk; we have not customized it in any way. So yes, the "Static" content IS offering the conflicting advice, but it's content Atlassian created, so it seems like the fact that it's conflicting is…
  • Oh, wow! This is really taking me back. My memory is similar to @Thorhalla Gudmundsdottir Beck - we always had music in our house, so it's difficult for me to remember the first thing I bought myself. I think it was the Wham! Make It Big record (on vinyl) in 1984, followed shortly by the cassette of Chicago 17. CDs are…
  • I didn't see that session and have not heard of Confluence Workflows. Maybe something is listed on the Cloud Roadmap? It looks like there's an entry for Confluence automation due in Q3; could that be what you're thinking of?
  • Hi, @Sandeep Sekhar JSM doesn't really have the concept of multiple levels of agents. The simplest way to manage this is to just have an initial queue that all tickets start out in, and then a second queue based on the Escalated workflow status (or the value of a field that you're using to indicate that a ticket has been…
  • Hi, @CHESTER RAMOS - you don't need to delete the customers; if they're already in your service desk you can create their organizations and then re-invite them to the organization. Their names will then disappear from the "non-organized" customers and appear in the organization(s) you invite them to. If you truly need to…
  • Understand how boards work, including nuances of sprints and releases. Being a Jira admin isn't just about knowing how to configure a workflow or add a custom field. In many companies, the Jira admins are the tech support for Agile teams, and if a team can't figure out why their sprint report is showing odd data, or their…
  • The time you see in Tempo *is* the Jira worklog. Are you saying that you want your customers to be able to look at a single Jira ticket and see the Tempo gadget? This is difficult for me to test because of how our permissions are set up, but I believe you'd need to make sure they have either the View All Worklogs or View…
  • @albert_pinto from what I can tell, Business Impact and Urgency are custom fields, not ones that are created natively by Jira. I haven't tried every single JSM template, though, so it's possible that they would be created by a specific template. Can you provide more info? Which project template was your project created…
  • Hi, @Gene Johnston - if I'm understanding correctly, you * Have a Jira instance that your internal staff, including developers, logs time in via Tempo * You have external customers who have access to this Jira instance * You want those external customers to be able to see time logs, but not change them or add their own If…
