Will sprint data be added to the available tables any time soon? The biggest request we get from users is more robust sprint reporting than what's built in at the project level, and at this point although we have this amazing product, we still have to tell them that we can't provide that info.
-
@abby.kaske It might work with a list of jira tickets, if you have a page already that uses the Jira macro and displays multiple results in a table. If you know the issue keys (or have some other JQL that will find the specific tickets) you could try setting the json "value" property to something like this (yanked from one…
-
@Ruud Ravensbergen I haven't actually tried that because it's not something we had a need for. I'll see if I can figure it out.
-
🤦🏻♀️ Thank you; I didn't even try that - just assumed that would uncheck the product entirely (i.e. not give me any choices of projects in that product.)
-
This is really helpful. What would be even more helpful would be to have the ability to deselect all with one click. We have several hundred active projects and over a hundred more archived (and this selection seems to include archived projects, was that intentional?) and if I want to create a data source that only pulls…

Hmm. That's beyond my experience after so many years. I'll see if I can find another community leader who has experience with this.

Once a user has the space admin permission for a given space, they can add watchers to individual pages. It's not a separate permission; you must be a space admin to be able to add watchers. From the individual page watchers management, you can also add or remove watchers on the entire space the page lives in.

Hi, @Erin Leiker - welcome to the Community! It's been many years since I've worked in a server/data center environment, so I'm kind of rusty. I did some quick googling of the Server REST API and how to use PATs, and I'm wondering if it's possible that when you generated your token, you set it to expire? If not, what…

It worked for me with the literal issue key, as long as the entire URL was a static string. It's only when trying to include smart values in the request URL that I run into problems.
-
OK, @Bill Sheboy I gave it a shot, but am still getting errors. I may have completely misunderstood what you meant by "building the URL" in a variable, as we haven't had much need for created variables in our automation thus far. I come from a programming background, and assumed I could insert a smart value into the middle…
-
Thanks, @Bill Sheboy - no, I spent 10 minutes on it in response to Marco's question; I didn't have time to really dive into it since it's not something I currently need to do for my instance. I'll give it a shot, though, just out of curiosity.
-
Thanks, Patrick. I will sign up for a slot. I know it's free right now, but I don't want our users to get excited about and reliant on it until we know if it's something we'll be able to afford when it's generally available. I was kind of hoping it would turn out to be similar to the new Analytics product - i.e. included…
-
Thanks, Skyler, but those are Analytics dashboards. We are looking for info on Jira dashboards - i.e. the ones created by users in Jira itself and accessible via https://<mysite>.atlassian.net/jira/dashboards, not the Analyics product. I know the data lake was designed to provide info to end users, but there's real…

@Marco Doebert I honestly hadn't tried it. I just did, and sort of got it to work; the webhook doesn't seem to like smart values. I was able to get this setup to work with a hard-coded issue key, using the remotelink endpoint. I got the link data by manually linking a specific Confluence page to an existing ticket, then…

You use your company's workspace name in place of the user param for the repositories endpoint. So if your company's workspace is https://bitbucket.org/abc, then your call should be https://api.bitbucket.org/2.0/repositories/abc?pagelen=100&fields=next,values.slug' % team
-
Thanks! Because the he partial response documentation specifically mentions using the "+values.destination.repository.owner" format, and since full_name is on the same level in the json hierarchy as owner, I thought I needed to use the same format. Your way works!
-
To clarify, only a Teams admin can do that, and it would apply to the entire org, not just a single user who doesn't want previews.
-
@Celine Penaredondo there's been a change to the UI of creating projects. You can still create a project with shared configurations, but you do need to choose a template to start with - it doesn't really matter which one, since you'll choose to share an existing project's configuration later on. You just need to make sure…
-
Hi, Abraham. So first, just so you understand - you keep referring to "you guys" - do you guys have a feature, etc. This is a community site; there are occasional Atlassian employees floating around, but most of us are just users like you. As a user, the way I would do what you're discussing is to use Jira, not Confluence.…

No, the Parent Link field doesn't have to be on the issue screen for your epics in order for the JQL to return results. When you use the drag and drop in Plans to add an epic to a theme (or initiative, or whatever your top level is), the field is set in the background. Here's a search result: Here's the screen config for…
-
Hi, @Ben Weisman - yup, just use the fieldChange element. My sample rule is just sending the info to the audit log, but it's the same format in a rule that uses the email action instead. Documentation here: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/smart-values-general/
-
Can I ask how you're making epics children of themes without the parent link? I didn't know there was another way - although we've been using Plans since it was Portfolio (so years), and there may have been a change that I haven't heard about. We'll probably continue to use it, because it does allow the kind of JQL you…
-
@Martin Cleaver no, that's not a native automation function; not all of these ideas use Automation for Jira. The first paragraph of the article indicates that You can accomplish all of these with built-in automation, workflow extensions, and scheduling apps
-
@Pavol Harvanka I realize this is an old comment, but I just found this post today. The correct link to the automation library and playground is https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/automation-template-library#/.
-
I think you should be able to get all epics within a group of themes that are in a certain status by doing this: "Parent Link" in (TOP-123, TOP-456, TOP-789) and status = "In Progress" If you need multiple statuses, you can use the same "in" format there as well. "Parent Link" in (TOP-123, TOP-456, TOP-789) and status in…

I just confirmed the behavior in both my company's instance and the Atlassian Community Leaders instance. It sounds like a bug, but I agree with @Kishan Sharma - report it to Atlassian first; if it's a bug they will open a bug report.
-
Hi, Abraham - if you are on a month-to-month plan, there is no notification; your licenses auto-renew on the same date each month. If you're on an annual plan (for Confluence and Jira; there isn't one for Bitbucket), your site admin and billing contacts should be receiving an email 90 days prior to expiration as a reminder…
-
@kriks - Welcome to the Community! I'm not aware of this behavior; we're definitely not seeing it in our own instance of Bitbucket. Can you clarify - are you on Cloud or Server? Your post is tagged Cloud, but the documentation link you provided is for Server. They may behave differently. Is it possible someone installed a…

Hi, @Arevik Hakobyan - Jira Cloud doesn't natively support any hierarchy above Epic. If you have a level above, it means one of two things: you have the Premium plan, which gives you access to Plans (Advanced Roadmaps), or you have a third-party plugin like Structure that's allowing this. Even if you have premium, there's…
