Yeah, that's what I figured, but I was hoping that for once, Atlassian would do something the easy way :)

Thank you for your recommendation, but we were able to accomplish what we needed with ScriptRunner, which we already own.

That is really odd. Is everyone on your instance seeing the same thing, or only you? Do you see the same behavior in a different browser?
-
Yes, thank you!

So let me explain what I'm trying to do. Say I have two tickets, PHTP-10 and PHTP-22. They are linked; PHTP-10 blocks PHTP-22: We're trying to create quick filters in boards that will allow a project manager to display only tickets that are blockers and only tickets that are blocked. However, our volume is too high for…

OK, I marked this as accepted, and it seemed to work for one project's set of searches. I just tried to create a new set for a different project, though, and it's not quite working correctly. I would expect that using status != Closed in the search would return only issues where the status isn't Closed (we can't use…

"What needs to be done?" is the new "easy" way to create stories. The displayed line is the summary field; if you have other required fields, when you hit Create after entering a summary, it should pop open the full form.

Thanks. I didn't realize I could use more complex JQL than just the project name in the linkedIssuesOf params.

The announcement bar doesn't exist on Cloud, and I don't want to start hacking things.

Thanks for the response, but * that plugin does way more than we'd need; we're not looking for approval processes or publishing automation; we just want to make sure that a field that's natively provided is actually used. * that plugin is not available for Cloud. So it sounds like the simple answer is "no". ETA that I've…

Yes, you could do that. But that board doesn't live in the service desk project, and your agents then need to leave service desk and go to a different project to view the board. That's not an ideal or efficient experience. Even if you create the board in another project and add a shortcut to it in the service desk, it's…

Yes, but there's no visual indicator on a board that a ticket is blocked or a blocker. For example, it would be cool if a ticket that's blocked by another would display something like this:
-
I realize this is old, but we just had a team request this. I think the main problem with your solution (having a board in your profile) is that it's only in your profile. That doesn't do any good for a team that needs to use the board.

@Patrick MacMannis - I never got an official answer, but we had no problems migrating our on-prem Bitbucket repos to cloud and connecting to Cloud Jira.

Thank you for the link. Yet another easily-corrected issue that's been open for 6 years.

They're definitely replies to the email from JSD; I've tested it myself and had it happen several (but not all) times. I did disable the email request for a few hours yesterday and tried replying to the email notification; I got a bounce notice indicating the message could not be sent.

Thanks; I had seen that question already, and am already following the open issues in Atlassian's Jira. I was just hoping that someone had found a way around it. Thanks for the welcome :) I'm not actually new; I just switched to a new account. I've been around for a few years.

This is on the old side, but I wanted to respond, as @Dave Theodore [Coyote Creek Consulting] response assumes classic projects, when the OP specifically requested info on next-gen projects. There is no Estimation on the Agile Board for next-gen; the boards cannot be configured at all aside from adding columns and a bit of…
