ETA: are you sure that your ScriptRunner script is populating the native Priority field and not a custom field? ---------------------------------------------------------- I'm on Cloud, so I'm not sure if server is the same (or if your version of server is the same). Are you using the "new" issue view, where there are a…

In my state, non-professional fireworks are illegal. That doesn't actually stop anyone, and I always end up with the wrappers from someone else's fun in my yard to clean up :( I enjoy professional shows, but always feel bad for pets and people with PTSD who have to hear their neighbors setting off loud bangs at all hours…

@Nic Brough -Adaptavist- because I am, as mentioned in another comment, a language geek, I tried to find out where "cilantro" came from when I found out that it was the same plant as coriander. Apparently the word "cilantro" is actually the Spanish word for coriander, and since much of Central America was colonized by the…

I've never been a fan of chocolate either, but until recently all I had ever had was milk chocolate, and the cheap stuff at that. I still do not particularly like basic candy bars like Snickers, but have lately been enjoying dark chocolate. I'll get a good bar of >75% cacao, nothing fancy - maybe with sea salt or nuts. One…

My garden has been overrun by the stuff since I planted a small pot a few years ago. I also am one who didn't know until recently that coriander is just cilantro seeds.

Hey youse guys... if I recall correctly, that's a Philly thing. There's an interesting article about the evolution of "you" in American English at AtlasObscura for language geeks (which I am; no disrespect!)
-
Oh, yes. One of my pet peeves. Like it's really that difficult to type "you" instead of "u"?

I'd love to join whenever there's an opening!

I love this topic, @Tamanna Godara - it's really something to think about. I have a lot of memories that I hold dear, and now that my parents are both gone it's difficult to choose any specific one. My mom was an incredible baker; she made wedding cakes for family and friends. I have many fond memories of being in the…

Thanks, @Jimmy Seddon - I wasn't aware they did things like that. I can see watching something like that for charity. That's a nice use of tech.

Mine is ice cream. In the summer, I'll go with a sorbet or granita; the dairy in ice cream is too heavy in hot weather. And in the winter, who wants to eat something cold anyway? I do admit that I'm a sucker for a really good gelato, but that's hard to find around here and even then I have to be feeling it.

Same! My uncle used to offer me sips of his beer when I was 3 or 4, and I've never been able to drink it as an adult. I've learned to like various ciders, since they're generally low-alcohol and easy to sip when everyone else is drinking beer. Otherwise, I'd be under the table after a few drinks, since I prefer mixed…

I'm with you. Slimy, nasty things.

This is how I feel about the whole Twitch stream thing. Even if you do play video games, unless you're stuck and need a walkthrough, why on earth would you want to watch someone else play?
-
Ooh, yum. Going into my boozy drinks evernote notebook.
-
Thank you! When I saw the doc I was set to say that it was server-specific, but I tried it on our Cloud instance and it does work.

If you just need to see the information, you can look at the Transitions tab on a ticket. Unfortunately there's no native way to export that information, especially for multiple tickets. We had a requirement to know how many times tickets fail QA testing, for example. What I did was create a custom field called QA…

OK, if your original project is still in the trash, that might be what's causing it. Can you go to the trash and completely delete it?

The user will need the space admin permission to manage watchers on pages in his space. If you are the Confluence site-admin, you can go to the space, then Space Settings. Click on the Permissions tab and the Edit Permissions button (there are two, one to add groups, one to add individuals.)
-
@Seth Gholson is there a similar function that you know of in MS Teams? I just saw a question a few minutes ago, and would love it if there were - we use Teams and it's kind of a pain; most of us would rather just click through to the ticket.

The link you provided indicates that this is a Data Center product. If you check the hosting options dropdown, you'll see that this particular plugin is only available for Server and Data Center, not Cloud. So you will not be able to use this plugin in a Cloud instance. I believe I read somewhere that there is work in…

If I recall correctly, PagerDuty doesn't allow that. We had it enabled last year before we switched to OpsGenie, and I think their support people told us it wasn't configurable on a project basis.
-
Do you mean the preview? That isn't a setting that can be changed in Jira; if it's possible to turn off it would be on the Teams admin side. I get the same kind of alert when pasting a link to a google doc, a facebook post, or pretty much any other site.

The project name can be the same; what you can't reuse is the project key. So for example, when you created the original Engineering project, Jira assigned a key, probably something like ENG. If you create a new project and name it Engineering, as long as you change the key to something else (like ENGI, or NG) it should…

Ooh, I didn't know this! I may be drinking a lot more soon :)

I admit, I'm a fan of frozen drinks :) Margaritas, daiquiris, pina coladas. Unfortunately I'm pretty lazy, so if I need an adult beverage, I usually default to cider. Thankfully, I live in Chicago, which has a lot of great local cideries. Right now I'm liking North Shore Cider's Never Say Never and Hey Jealousy, and Right…

Are these still rolling out? Mine are a bit confusing. I have 84 "provided" answers, but only the "10 answers posted" badge. I'm awful at math, but that seems off even to me :)
-
Yes, if you look below the 15m Ahead you can see the actual time worked - 40 hours and 15 minutes.
-
(FYI, I just noticed you're on Server; we are on Cloud. There may be differences in functionality, especially if you're not on the most recent version.) You can set up different workload schemes that determine how many hours a user should be logging per period. For example, we have a Full Time scheme (40 hours per week), a…

@Estanis - no, next-gen projects are not available for shared configurations. That's one of the limitations, and why many companies don't use them. They're nice for small companies that want one-off projects that are quick to set up but don't need any customization, but they're completely standalone.
