I can confirm that Cloud does not allow CSV import of attachments, status, or user creation.

@Aaron St.George - we did find a solution, but I don't think it's going to be helpful to you. In May, we had a requirement to start tracking SLAs on non-Service Desk tickets (i.e. how long does it take for an engineering team to deal with bugs of different priorities in classic software projects). In order to do this, we…

Hmm. Do you also use Service Desk? If so, do the people you're trying to add to site-admins have service desk agent licenses? If not, and you're at your agent limit, that might be the problem, as I believe a site admin needs to have admin access to service desk as well.

If you are a project admin, you should be able to go to Project Settings -> Features and turn on the Reports and Roadmaps toggles. Most of the reports require you to already have the Sprints toggle turned on; you can then generate burndown charts, etc. Roadmaps give you an interactive, visual representation of work; you…

As Jack said, it depends on what your needs are. The free Jira power-up for Trello allows you to create Jira tickets from pre-existing cards, and also allows you to add a link to an existing ticket to any card. What it doesn't do is automatically create a new card for every ticket created; I don't know if any integration…

When you say you're trying to add a new person to the group, do you mean you are trying to add an existing licensed user to the site-admin group, or you're trying to create/invite a new user and add them to the group? If it's the latter, the message is not referring to a limit on how many people you can have in a group,…

@Sven Cipido Knight Rider was my brother's favorite show when we were kids, so I guess that makes me an old one too! We took a family vacation to Universal Studios in Los Angeles in 1984 or 1985, and they had a replica of Kitt that you could have your picture taken in. I think he still has that picture.

Alternately you can use the new automation capabilities to do this, although depending on how active your instance is (and whether you're on Standard or Premium) you may run into execution caps.

Wow. If we all survive 2020, I'd like a date; any one is fine with me.

My siblings and I can conduct entire text conversations with nothing but memes. I have a 200+ image Google album full of memes and funny pics. A lot of them are aimed at various organized religions and politics, so I'll skip those. Here are a few of my SFW favorites. First off, @Earl McCutcheon for the earworm:

I sometimes feel guilty for re-watching things, because between Prime and Netflix my to-be-watched lists are long enough that I'd need to live to be 300 to finish them :) But there are times, and these last few months are one of those times, when I just don't have the emotional energy to commit to something that might make…

This is a popular topic; I don't know if any of mine are original. * Leverage. This is my comfort show. I've watched it so many times I can recite the dialog, but it's still super-clever. * Firefly. Gone too soon. Just the right amount of dark and snark. * Chuck. I never watched this when it was actually on, but just…

Yes to Lucifer! Season 5 is finally starting on Netflix next Friday!
-
Psych is really fun! There were a couple of seasons that were iffy, but for the most part it's very watchable. Lassie is one of my favorite characters (and actors.)
-
Leverage is one of mine too! It is being rebooted as IMDbTV's first original series. Info here; trigger warning for screamingly bright and busy background graphics.

I understand the frustration, but want to correct this statement: I consider service desk license and upgrade from software, and software an upgrade from core This isn't accurate. Service Desk is not an upgrade from Software, and Software is not an upgrade from Core. They are three separate products, designed for different…

I think what @Harold Wong is saying is that, if you're a team that currently only uses Service Desk, if you want to be able to use kanban boards, you also need to pay for Jira Software (a separate set of licenses which are cheaper than service desk agent licenses.) This is true. And it still doesn't address the fact that…

Welcome to Atlassian and the Community, Bryan!

@Kristján Geir Mathiesen - I have not seen the new version yet! I've heard about it, but am not sure where to find it (and haven't really spent any time trying.) Maybe this weekend. To embed a gif, treat it like any other image - click the Camera icon (Insert Photos) in the icon bar, and then choose URL instead of Upload.

I was in high school when the movie came out, had a huge laugh at this, because the little boy I babysat for would always ask this when I would read him bedtime stories.

I live in Chicago and was lucky enough to get in before the pandemic shut down its already abbreviated run.

Welcome to the Community, Vach! On the Free version of Service Desk, the 1-3 license limit refers to service desk agents - users who will be working in Jira and triaging submitted tickets. Customers are not considered licensed users, and are unlimited even on the Free version. ' As for adding customers, there is an option…

@Petter Gonçalves I know this is a year old, but I have a similar requirement. From what I can tell, your solution doesn't tell us that the ticket previously had a label of "mylabel" and now it doesn't; all it tells us is that at the time the rule is triggered, there is no label of "mylabel" - the ticket may never have had…

You can easily set the Sprint field as required to transition a ticket back to the Open status. You can also automatically clear out the Sprint field on that transition to force the ticket back into your backlog. Caveat: to set up validators, you must be a jira-admin or site-admin. To set up automation rules, you need to…

Never mind; it's at the bottom of the Board menu in any project. Not intuitive for an admin who's used to seeing filters, boards, and dashboards View All in the main navigation.
-
This may have been answered, but I don't have time to read 10 pages of feedback. How can I get to the View All Boards page that existed in the old navigation? As site admin, I need to be able to see that list to manage boards without going into each project (of which we have dozens) separately. Specifically, I need to be…

@Bhushan Nagaraj this is a problem in Cloud as well, and it's not related to the number of issues returned. I have a project that only I work in; if I set the jql to worklogDate >= startOfMonth() and project = JIRA and worklogAuthor = currentUser() it should return only 10 issues. But it returns nothing. If I remove the…
-
@Mack Baczynski I don't think this is a Jira limitation; it's on the various app developers to code to those specifications. For example, the X-Ray testing suite is installed at the system level, and there's an entry for project-level config in the settings of each project. I can't hide the config in the project settings,…

(Sorry, I misread your question and assumed you were using a service desk project since you mentioned issue collectors. If you're using a standard Jira software next-gen project, this answer will not work for you.) When you say you don't want to give everyone access to Jira, is it that you don't want to provide licenses to…

There are plugins that are available for Jira that integrate with a number of other helpdesk/service desk providers that would let you connect the two systems and automatically pull data from one to the other. Unfortunately it doesn't look like one exists for Helpspot. I did find a few services that appear to allow this…
