Hi @Brittany Burley You can do this with some clever use of Confluence macros. The includ page macro will literally bring in an entire page onto another page allowing you to reference a lot of information at once. The other is to use the excerpt and excerpt Include macro and only bring in parts of a page. This allows you…

Hi @Chris Jackson You can do this based on the filter shares the board uses. Even if they did see a board they would not see the issues as the filter wouldn't be available. However I'm not sure why you wouldn't want to open boards up for better transparency, collaboration and decision making. What is it you are trying to…

Hi @Jeff Hooper You'd have to use the same action of create variable and update the value given to the variable.
-
Hi @Salvatore Montalto So when the user creates an issue they'd have the ability to share this with their org. If no is selected the padlock defaults to no share. So the user could if they wished change the padlock settings and share with their org.

Hi @Brian Karp If I have understood you correctly then no this can't be done. The automation engine requires triggers based off of issues. If you want something to happen before the issue is even created you'd need something more like scriptrunner that would be able to read what is on the browser page and adapt the screen…

Hey @Dave Mathijs Atlassian have not released any of these details around where it will sit within its plans. Right now I know it is free for all tiers. I hope it will stay this way. Every team needs to ability to whiteboard not just premium or enterprise paying teams.

Hi @Jagoda Zawadzka, Thanks for raising your question. So there is a little bit of confusion here. Basically moving it to the request form means your users can help set the priority. But it does not hide it from your agents. What you will now need to do is to look within the main body of the issue where the rest of the…

If you have access to it @Dana A, You may even be able to use the new Confluence whiteboard functionality too. This may save you a marketplace app.
-
I'm glad it could help @Dana A. Is there anything in particular you are struggling on?
-
Hey @Michael Andolfatto As of right now there isn't this is the best way. I know it is annoying but at least you got there regarding the automation. Dan

Hey @Amelie Winkler _Appfire_ Have Appfire got any other resources regarding SIL learning? I’d love to get a proper learning path under my belt as well as pass on to others in our team.

Hi @Emilee I'm happy to take on both Confluence and JWM if you’d like. find me at Dan.tombs96@gmail.com

Hi @Jasmine Thomas (TechTime) those that have access to Atlassian Access are able to set a Mobil app policy to help protect against additional data being stored on mobile devices. outside of just generic mobile access. Account access is all based on the authentication policies you set within your organisation. That being…

You may find that there is a context on the done date field stopping the issue being edited on the issue. With custom field with duplicated names. Just use the {{issue.customField_<insert field number>}}. You don’t need to edit using json
-
Hi @Renee Troiani I think what you may be struggling with is a checkbox on the schedule trigger that only runs for issues updated since last run. Make sure that isn’t checked.

Hi @Lara Sousa @Laurie Sciutti has attached a good YouTube video. I wrote an article which explains how you can sum up story points to any point in the hierarchy. While it talks of story points I actually started this use case with time spent etc. you would just need to replace the queries for time spent instead of story…

Hi @Jon.Austen while there are a few things you can do regarding the data shown, marketplace apps are limited in how data can be shown. This is very common in regards to almost every marketplace app.
-
Hi @Backiyaraj Mani you will probably need to look to additional marketplace apps when it comes to gain that data within JQL. you could get the last comment from automation for Jira but you will need an additional custom field to store the data in so you can see it in JQL. you could try the JQLextensions for Jira app
-
Hi @Michael Andolfatto If the asset attribute is always printing multiple emails separated by comma, then you could use smart values for looking before and after specific characters. when it comes to entering the data you may be able to do it all in one edit action. Otherwise, edit the issue once, then re-fetch the issue…
-
Hey @Rodrigo Xavier try using the normal lookup issue action rather then the table version. In the lookup issue action filter for issues using the JQL you need to. Then what you will be able to do is use something like: {{lookupissues.key}} to get a list of all keys. {{lookupissues.”start date”}} hope this information helps

I have been certified with 200 & 400 for a while but have always wanted to get classed as a certified expert. With the upcoming retirements of my certs I really need to get on with this. I think the hardest bit is just knowing the exact courses I need to take. I should stop reading these articles so late at night :)
-
Hey @Jose Manuel Muguiro You can do this using project roles and the permission scheme. If you wanted to provide just view permission to a different project role and then add that user to the role in the project settings.

Hey team. I'm so glad to join the group properly. I first found out about Jira about 8 years ago when I joined a platinum solution partner. I have been working in very close proximity with Jira for the last 8 years. I keep learning every day but have luckily been able to learn the application in great detail. I love…

Hey Team, I am the Atlassian Architect for my current company. @Manish Keswani Can you just add a screenshot of the action. It would be interesting just to see what you have there too.
-
Hey @Garret Zhang Thanks for the post. Can you share a screenshot of the rule so we can better understand what is going on.
-
Hey @Rodrigo Xavier I presume you are on cloud. So what you need to do is actually use the lookup issues action and then within the email use the {{lookupissues}} smart values.
