@Monty If you haven't already raised a support ticket for a deeper explanation, you can reach out to our support team for your alert routing questions. We have this diagram in our docs as well: https://support.atlassian.com/opsgenie/docs/alert-notifications-flow/ @Joe Manini & @Christine Cheng - Apologies for the…

Hi Tom, Yes, the notification policies of the owner team will be run on alert creation. This doc has details on how the owner team is determined: https://support.atlassian.com/opsgenie/docs/alert-creation-flow/#Owner-Team-concept -Brennan

There is no limit on the number of voicemails you can have for the incoming call feature.

Hi @Pamela Dándolo - this might be a migration for moving Opsgenie if it was billed as part of JSM in the past, which is a slightly different process from the one outlined here. I would suggest reaching out to support so we can take a look at your account information to give you the best answer possible. You can create a…

@Abhi Tanwar The option will be visible to users who are both an Opsgenie owner and Atlassian site/billing admin. It will be the top option under Settings in Opsgenie for those users. If you have those roles and are unable to see the option, please reach out to support here: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/

Hi @Aby Lefika Thanks for reaching out. It would be best to investigate this issue through a support ticket so we can access your account and check logs. You or one of your admins can open a ticket here: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/

You can find the most recent package here: https://github.com/opsgenie/oec-scripts/releases/tag/NagiosXI-1.1.5_oec-1.1.3

Hi! You can use the Opsgenie API to pull this data before it gets deactivated. You can list the users with this call - https://docs.opsgenie.com/docs/user-api#list-user Then, iterate through that list to get each user's contacts with this call - https://docs.opsgenie.com/docs/contact-api#list-contacts

This typically happens if the alerts are being ack'ed from a chat application. You'll want to make sure your users have connected their chat user to their OG user to make it so the ID shows up for all of them moving forward. https://support.atlassian.com/opsgenie/docs/integrate-opsgenie-with-slack-app/#Chat-User-Mapping…

Hi @Jeffrey Bistrong - that option is purely for visual purposes. You can drag around and change the order the rotations appear in, but it doesn't have any functional effect for escalations/notifications.
-
Hi @Allana Daudt , Thanks for reaching out! I would suggest creating a support ticket at support.atlassian.com for this so we can get a look at your setup. There isn't a known issue with this flow, so it's tough to say what could be causing it without looking at an example. Thanks!
-
Hi @Daiying Lin - I would recommend reaching out via support ticket for this so we can get a better look at your setup.
-
Hi! I've created a feature request to add this option to the apps - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/OPSGENIE-2138

Hi! The best option would be to use one Zabbix integration assigned to 'No Team' to create alerts for different teams. This way, you'll only need one OEC to send back to Zabbix. https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Opsgenie-articles/How-to-Alert-Different-Teams-Through-One-Integration/ba-p/2307288 -Brennan

Hi Jonathan, The best option for this would be to have the Director be its own team with the director user(s). Then, the teams' escalations can be to notify all members of the Director team. If the director changes, then you'd just have to update that one team.
-
Hi Ryan, The rotations allow you to put in the same user more than once, so you should be able to do a weekly rotation with User 1, User 1, User 2 to cover this use case.

Hello, New JSM signups no longer get a separate Opsgenie account provisioned. All of the features of Opsgenie are now baked into JSM. However, Opsgenie is still available as a separate product. I'd suggest creating a support ticket if you'd like to explore that option.
-
You can set up notification rules on your profile to control how you are notified for different alerts. https://support.atlassian.com/opsgenie/docs/configure-your-profile/#Notification-rules
-
Hi Rachel, The best way to handle this would be to use separate integrations - one per team. Then, you can edit the 'alias' field on one integration to ensure the alerts aren't deduplicated. You could do something like hardcoding the team name onto the alias in all alert actions: TeamA - {{alias}} for example. You'll also…

Hi Marcio, Using the API would be the best supported way to handle automating the addition of overrides.
-
Hi James, Are you creating the fields with Insight by any chance? We have an open feature request to add support for those fields: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/OPSGENIE-1073 If that's not what's happening in your case, I would suggest reaching out to support at support.atlassian.com so we can take a closer look at why…
-
Hi Jake, Taking a look at this, it does look like you can ack/close the alerts manually from the JSM incident, but I haven't been able to find a simple way to handle this via automation. I would suggest reaching out in the Automation community or to Jira support to see if there are any ways to handle this via automation.…
-
Hi Kurt, We have an open feature request to display the team names instead of the IDs. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/OPSGENIE-1792 In the meantime, you can use the API to get the team name from the ID: https://docs.opsgenie.com/docs/team-api#get-team Or you can go to Teams > select any team, then edit the URL with the…

Hi! Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I've confirmed we do place calls from that number as well and created a bug ticket to get the vCard updated: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/OPSGENIE-1887 -Brennan
-
Hi Maria, It would be best to open a ticket at support.atlassian.com so the issue can be investigated deeper.
-
Hi Martin, You may not have access to add integrations in your account. I would suggest reaching out to one of your local admins to check your permissions and then reach out to support if there are still issues.
-
Hi David, Right now, Opsgenie can only send emails to users in Opsgenie in the form of alert notifications, or to stakeholders for incidents. We have an open feature request for an auto-reply for the email integration: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/OPSGENIE-1160
-
Hello! We have a backup tool that you can leverage for this: https://github.com/opsgenie/opsgenie-configuration-backup

If you integrate using the newer JSM integration, you can customize the data that gets sent to different fields in JSM. https://support.atlassian.com/opsgenie/docs/integrate-opsgenie-with-jira-service-management-cloud/

Hi @Mike Hart , There isn't an option for this right now, but there is an open feature request to add more fields to the templates: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/OPSGENIE-1606
