Hi Bartosz, If you select a team in the top-left on the Analytics page to view team-based reports, you can filter by schedule on the 'On Call Time Analytics' report. -Brennan

Hi Mohammed, This guide has steps on setting the priority in OG based on what's sent over from Jira: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Opsgenie-articles/How-to-Map-Alert-Priorities-in-Opsgenie/ba-p/2044304 For the notification issue, I would suggest opening a support ticket at support.atlassian.com so we can investigate…

Hi Anil, I would suggest opening a ticket at support.atlassian.com so we can investigate this issue further with specific examples. -Brennan

Hi @Tim Tate - Opsgenie doesn't currently have a current date/time field to be able to add to alerts or incidents, but we have a feature request for this: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/OPSGENIE-1527
-
Hi @Joshua Bennett - The best option for this would be to set up actions on the integration creating these alerts to have the second email automatically close the first alert. The reply to this community post details setting this up on an email integration:…

@Tohier Dreyer Thanks for reaching out. The team's policies will only apply to the alert if the team is listed as the 'Owner Team' on the alert. If that part looks good, I'd suggest opening a support ticket at support.atlassian.com. We may need to access your account to get a better look at your setup and why that alert…

@Daniel Hardaker We don't have an option to reset just the 'seen' state right now, but we have a feature request to disable this: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/OPSGENIE-36

@J Conners - You can set up an integration between JSM and Opsgenie to create JSM tickets for the security alerts coming into OG. https://support.atlassian.com/opsgenie/docs/integrate-opsgenie-with-jira-service-management-cloud/ You can add filters on the integration to only create JSM tickets for certain alerts in OG.
-
@J Conners - We have an option to connect BitBucket to Opsgenie to track deployments: https://support.atlassian.com/opsgenie/docs/use-opsgenie-with-bitbucket-cloud/ https://support.atlassian.com/opsgenie/docs/map-bitbucket-repositories-to-opsgenie-services/

Hi Henrik, In order to better assist you, can you create a support ticket at support.atlassian.com for this? It would be best to take a look at the data being received from Zabbix. -Brennan

Hi Doug, This depends on where you're building the search. On the Incidents page, you can exclude a service with: services!: "[Service_Name]" On the Services page, you can exclude a service with: name!: "[Service_Name]" -Brennan

Hello! Could you provide some screenshots of the alerts you're receiving so we can get a better idea of what changes you need to make? Thanks!

Right now, we don't have an option to set up recurring maintenance in Opsgenie, but we have an open feature request for this: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/OPSGENIE-451 The closest option right now would be to use our API to enable/disable policies (similar to what a maintenance policy does) and set up a cron job or…

Hi Augustin, I would suggest reaching out to Opsgenie support and we can track down the other account and see what options are available. Thanks!

Hi @Alessandro Pistola , We recently created a customer-facing Jira where we will be tracking bugs and feature requests for Opsgenie. We don't have all of the past feature requests in there yet, but this one can be tracked at https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/OPSGENIE-33 -Brennan

Not being able to set DnD overrides on the work profile is a limitation of Android. The app will need to be installed on your personal profile if you need to override DnD on your device.
-
Gotcha. Yeah, you'll want to use a Jira integration to create an Opsgenie alert to notify a user from Opsgenie for this.
-
Hi Raul, Could you provide a bit more info about your workflow and use case here? Do you want Jira to reach out to Opsgenie via an Automation rule to find an on-call user, then notify that user via Jira? It sounds like a better option would be to create an Opsgenie alert via a Jira integration and have the notifications…

Hi Jonathan, The address app.opsgenie.com would be for accessing the application in a web browser. Are you looking for the IP ranges for the API (api.opsgenie.com)? We have this help article that details how to get that list:…

Hi Sarah, In Opsgenie, if you go to Settings > Atlassian products > Jira Software Cloud, does it show that it's connected? Additionally, if you pull up the browser console (F12) while searching for a project and go to the 'Network' tab, it will show the search being run to try and find Jira projects. If either of these…

Hi Chris, This really shouldn't be happening with the default setup of the integration, but the Activity Log tab on the alert should have some information on where the alert is being closed from. I would recommend reaching out to our support team either via the chat bubble or at https://support.atlassian.com/ so we can…

Hi Andreas, If you search the incomingDataId in quotes in the logs (Settings > Logs), you can see the payload Opsgenie received from Prometheus for the priority change.

Right now, the service relationships are just for display and reporting purposes. There isn't currently a way to trigger an incident on a dependent service if the 'parent' service has an incident.
-
Unfortunately, there isn't a great workaround for this right now. You could probably rig something up with OEC to run some custom scripts to handle this differently, but it's really probably more trouble than it's worth to go through.

Hi Martin, It is possible to port a phone number your organization owns to be used in the incoming call integration. However, this process takes up to a month to complete and involves your organization transferring ownership of the number to our provider. Most customers opt to just using the randomly assigned number and…

Hi Bogdan, Right now, this functionality can't be changed. However, we do have a feature request to keep counting the alerts past 100 for the auto-close policies. The ticket number for this is ALX-3024. We don't have an external-facing Jira to track these, but you can reach out to us and reference that number if you're…

Hi Tim, Thank you for reaching out. This is an issue we've seen before and is due to a limitation with the Android platform. If you are using scheduled DND mode, apps can't see what the schedule is. They can just see whether or not DND is on, so Opsgenie turns off DND mode for the notifications and then turns it back on…
-
Hi Eric, Thanks for reaching out about this! Unfortunately, there isn't an option to schedule the alert details in an email right now, but we do have an open feature request with our dev team to add this feature to the platform. In the meantime, the best bet would be to setup something to pull alerts from our API…

Hi Karam, I'm not familiar with that specific model, but this is generally a phone limitation. Are you able to change the sounds for any other apps on your phone? There may be a third party app available to change your notification sounds. -Brennan
