  • Understood @dpetit . The incident management side to Opsgenie is relatively new. The platform started with alerting originally, which is why there is more functionality around alerts in Opsgenie. The incident management side is now a priority for our product/development teams to add more functionality around. So I expect…
  • Hi @dpetit ! There isn't a way currently export incidents from Opsgenie the same way you can with alerts. With alerts, you can do it through the alert dashboard, export csv option. Or you can do it through Analytics -> Alert Reports -> Alert Analytics, and you can view the alerts in a table there and download it as a .csv…
  • Hi @Gokulasuriyan R.K , It sounds like this is more of a general Prometheus question, as opposed to a question specific to Opsgenie's integration with Prometheus . I think this question would be better suited in a general Prometheus forum. I found this doc on template examples in Prometheus. If you have any questions…
  • Hi @Lukas Röhrl , It would depend on whether Icinga sends this url over in the payload. If it does, then you could certainly parse it out in the integration using dynamic fields. For example, if there is a field called checkUrl in the payload Icinga sends to Opsgenie, something like {{_payload.checkUrl}} you could put in…
  • Hi @serge calderara , You can automate incident creation from alerts in Opsgenie using incident rules. Within these rules, you can specify which fields from the alert you want to populate the fields of the incident. If you're on a JSM plan, you would need to be on JSM premium or enterprise to have this feature. If you're…
  • Hi @Reuben deVries ! Each user controls how they are notified of alerts via the notification rules on their profile. You can setup multiple "New Alert" notification rules with filters, to be notified differently based on the priority of alerts. e.g. In this example, I have 3 different "New Alert" Notification rules. The…
  • Hi @Miroslav Janousek ! It looks like we have a task to update the integration to create a new graylog integration that will use a different method to support 4.1+ I asked the team for an update and it sounds like it is planned for one of the upcoming sprints, so should be implemented in the near future! Thanks, Samir
  • Hi @Timo Mäntynen , Could you reach out to us in support via support.atlassian.com? This way we can send over an access request link to you to allow us to login to your Opsgenie account and take a look to see why you're unable to receive voice notifications. Are you on the JSM Standard plan? If so, that plan doesn't…
  • Hi @paavo.hemmo ! Right now, it's not possible to have the extra properties (also referred to as "details" in Opsgenie), be sent to Teams. We do have a feature request for this though, so hopefully that functionality will be added to the integration down the road! Thanks, Samir
  • Hi @bschmi ! Not sure I totally understand the use-case, but there isn't a way to have 2 heartbeats be dependent or related to each other. The way heartbeats work in Opsgenie, is you add a heartbeat and specify an interval for that heartbeat. That interval determines how often the heartbeat should receive a ping (either…
  • Hi @William Butt ! Currently it's only possible to add a user as an override for a shift in an on-call schedule. We do have a feature request to be able to override an entire team for a shift. So like you said, the best option for now would be to add overrides for the members of the team, since you can't just add the whole…
  • You can see which JSM plan you are on via admin.atlassian.com -> click on your site -> manage subscriptions.
  • @serge calderara Yeah you can still be on a trial, but it depends which plan you are trialing. You can see which JSM plan you are on via admin.atlassian.com -> click on your site -> manage subscriptions.
  • Hi @serge calderara , This would be using our Slack App for Incident Management. You would need to be on the jsmPremium plan if you're using JSM. If you're on a standalone Opsgenie plan, you would need to be on the Standard or Enterprise plan. Thanks, Samir
  • It sounds like you may be on a plan that doesn't support automatic incident creation via incident rules. Are you on a JSM plan? If so - you would need to be on jsmPremium plan in order to use incident rules to automate incident creation from alerts.
  • Sounds good @Niklas Klein [Communardo] ! That payload looks like the one our regular Azure integration is expecting. e.g. So you may want to use the regular Azure integration in Opsgenie, instead of the AzureResourceHealth integration that you are currently using.
  • Hi @serge calderara ! Question 1: There isn't a way to create an incident in Opsgenie based on multiple alerts. However, you can use Incident Rules to automatically create an incident in Opsgenie when a specific alert is created. i.e. if alert is created with message containing "Host XXX down", create an incident. We do…
  • Hi @William Butt , It doesn't look like we have an ETA on this request at this time. However it is a fairly high requested feature, so I would expect it to be rolled out eventually, but it is likely dependent on some other infrastructure/architectural related changes before it can be implemented. Thanks, Samir
  • Hi @William Butt , This is a limitation when exporting on-call schedule to an .ics file, it only exports the schedule for the next 3 months. We do have a feature request to increase this, but this is currently a limitation. Thanks, Samir
  • Yes, good point @Amit Kumar !
  • Hi @William Butt ! Our reporting is more around historical data. so there isn't a report that can be run to show upcoming on-call users for a schedule. However there are several ways you can see who is on call in your On-call schedules... * The who is on-call tab in Opsgenie will show who is on-call in all of your…
  • Hi @serge calderara ! Marid has been replaced by it's successor, Opsgenie Edge Connector (OEC). So you would use OEC instead of Marid. In our Jira doc, we have a section on integrating with Jira via OEC for on-premise instances, and include a package you can download to get OEC with the Jira-specific config file, and…
  • Hi @Niklas Klein [Communardo] ! Good idea to have the alerts go from Azure to Opsgenie first, and then let Opsgenie create the jira issue so you can leverage alert de-duplication in Opsgenie, so you only have 1 Opsgenie alert, and only 1 Jira issue gets created! It looks like the issue is that the payload we are receiving…
  • Sure thing @dpetit - I've gone ahead and ensured that there is a feature request open for this functionality
  • Hi @dpetit ! Like you mentioned, we have an outgoing webhook integration which can be used to trigger a request to a custom endpoint based on actions on an Ospgenie alert (i.e. post to webhook when alert is created, closed, etc.) However this integration can only be triggered off of alert actions in Opsgenie. There isn't a…
  • Sounds good @Tracy Green that seems like a good workaround! Let us know if you have further questions on the Opsgenie side.
  • Ah I'm seeing the same behavior with Firefox in a private window, but it's working on Firefox in a regular window which is strange. I will report this internally, thanks for bringing it to our attention!
  • Sounds good, you're welcome @Eric Byrd !
  • Hi @Eric Byrd ! I just opened that link, and it brought me to the page where you can enter your information to receive the guide. Screen Recording: https://www.screencast.com/t/lZD4f1Qsiq Is that not working the same way for you? Could you try another browser or try an incognito window? Thanks, Samir
  • Hi @Tracy Green ! We don't have an outbound email integration. So Opsgenie can only send emails as notifications for alerts to users. So you would need to have a user associated with the email address you want to send alert notifications to. Each user in Opsgenie can have up to 2 email contact methods they can receive…
