Hi @Remps Moise ! Welcome to the community :) are you able to clarify a bit more? What do you mean by "Teams"? Are you referencing Workspaces? They used to be called Teams back in the day.

Agree with what @Brittany Joiner was saying - it would be cool. You can use the command libraries to share the rules with others so they can export them. That's helpful if you want to transfer ownership of the rules and allow someone else to manage/edit them. Additionally, if you're an admin of a board, you can view all…

Hi @Daniel Walsh ! Welcome to the community :) you can create calculated custom fields using butler (see here under Custom field arithmetic). Maybe you could add custom number fields for each member. For each card, you can input a number in each field which will represent the estimated hours needed for each member. Then,…

Hi @Alli Victoria ! Welcome to the community :) can you share a screenshot of your board? You might have a filter applied. Try type "x".
-
Hi @Erik King ! Welcome to the community :) It is possible to remove custom fields, but note that custom fields exist at the board level, not the card level. So if you delete a custom field, it will delete it for all cards. This is a permanent action and data cannot be recovered. You can also re-order fields, and again,…

Got it! Thanks for clarifying. Butler can execute calculations, but those calculations only work with custom fields that are number types. It's not like excel which allows you to create calculations with date fields. See here under "Custom field arithmetic". So, with that being said, what you can do is convert your date…
-
@Mairi Nixon welcome to the community :) Are you able to elaborate a bit? Are you wanting to calculate how many days between now and the due date? Are you able to share what you've set up so far?

This is definitely an option if you don't mind using a different platform! My suggestion would be to _sync_ the data to GSheets rather than manually exporting it on a regular basis. With any manual work, it opens up room for error, it's time-consuming, and the information in your sheet is not dynamic. So let's say a card…

Maybe using calendar commands could be the way? So the idea would be to create different commands for each recurring task. E.g "Every Monday at 8am, create a card title "Job Checks" in list "To do"." You can also pre-define a due date, description, labels, checklists, etc. if you need. Then, you would just have your other…

Hi @Bopple Bot ! No, Trello doesn't offer list buttons for the moment. You can reach out to Trello directly if you want to request this though! In the meantime, you could create a board button that only applies to a specific list, and include the list name in the board button name. Or, add a "header" card to the top of…
-
Hi @Swan Htet ! Yes, the commands will stop working. Butler automation is performed through the user who created the commands, so if that user no longer has access to the board, then the commands can't be executed. What you can do is create a command library and export the commands…

@Andrew Young yes, the suggestion was to have a secondary archived board to keep a record of completed cards without cluttering your main board. Alternatively, you could have the completed lists on your main board if you need to see the open and archived cards all on one board.
-
Hi @Anna Williamson ! To summarize based on your reply, you have two rules: 1. When the completed label is added to a card, move the card to the bottom of the list "May 2022 completed" and mark the due date as complete. 2. When the completed label is added to a card with a name starting with "Job checks", move the card to…

Hi @Nicholas Lealand ! Welcome to the community :) Trello plans are associated with the workspace, not the user. All boards within that workspace will adopt the paid features (custom fields, board views, etc.). Anyone you add as a workspace member will contribute to how much you pay each month/year. These members will have…

If today is Monday, May 16th then: -0wd = Friday, May 13th -1wd = Thursday, May 12th I'm not sure why both -0wd and -1wd are showing as Friday 13th. Maybe your butler timezone doesn't match your actual timezone? I don't know if I can help troubleshoot any further - I'm just a community member so I don't have access to any…

Hi Lisa! The variable is {cardduedatemonthname} All the date variables are listed here: https://help.trello.com/article/1157-variables#time-and-date-variables. You just need to prefix them with "cardduedate".

Hi @Michele Betti ! Welcome to the community :) It's expected for the Trello integration to create a calendar invite that will show you as busy. I don't believe it's possible to configure that integration to have the invite show you as free. However, it sounds like you might want to integrate Trello with Google tasks…

Hi @regan.thomas ! Welcome to the community :) are you able to share any more details? A screenshot of the rule, the command logs, the steps you took to produce the issue, etc.?
-
@Allison Lasswell Are you using Jira or Trello? You've posted in the Trello community, but the terms you're using make me think you're using Jira.
-
Maybe they have a 3rd-party app interfering with Trello like a chrome extension? It might be worth reaching out to Trello so they can dig into it.
-
Hi @Luca Del Bianco ! You can find more information on how to achieve this via https://help.trello.com/article/1165-task-dependencies when a card is moved to list "Completed" by anyone, for each card linked in the attachments, check item "{triggercardlink}
-
@Cezzy Sasscales you just need to hit the back icon (top left) to get back to the main menu.
-
@Franklin Tseng Completion date can be created using a custom date field. You can then use butler automation to auto-set that date. For example, "when a card is moved to the "Done" list, set "Completion Date" to now."
-
Hmm strange! As far as I know, if you have card and board buttons on your board, and these buttons are shared with the workspace, when someone copies the board, the buttons will follow through with the newly created board. Maybe try test with a dummy Trello account to see if you can recreate the issue?
-
Hi @Susannah ! Welcome to the community :) have you checked the option to share the button with the workspace? Butler commands are created at the user level, so in order for others to see and use butler buttons, you need to share them.

0wd is supposed to be Sunday wd = working day, so -0wd=Friday (today being Monday). What do you want the list to be renamed to? If you want it to be renamed to Sunday, then you would use -0d. Yet I have it that on a next day, I have no new cards in list while they are missing! Are there any logs for that day at all? BTW is…

Hi @Cindy Hosszu ! Welcome to the community :) I don't believe there's a good solution out there that will enable you to have multiple cards open at the same time within one tab or screen. The only real suggestion I can think of is to have multiple tabs open or have Trello open across multiple screens/windows.…

Hi @Abbie ! Welcome to the community :) I don't believe it's possible to customize the sidebar to see boards ordered by board collection. However, you can star boards to make them appear at the top, and also manually drag them around to change the ordering. If you have suggestions on how to improve the sidebar, I'd suggest…
-
Hi @Kimberly Duran ! Welcome to the community :) are you wanting to see dates across multiple boards, or within just one board? You can use the calendar power-up to view all cards within one board. This is a free power-up and isn't related to what Trello plan you're on; you could be on the free Trello version and still use…

@The Admin Welcome to the community :) I am using custom fields and in certain cases I use it also to add members. However, I am not able to figure out a sequence of rules that would enable me to change the custom field from the trigger card that would either work or wouldn't end up in a loop. Are you able to clarify what…
