@Michael Philips if things are split out over different workspaces, you'll need to have two separate plans either way. Trello's pricing is set at the workspace level, not the user level.
-
Hi @Michael Philips ! Welcome to the community :) It is possible to copy cards from the contractor board to your own board, but these cards won't be synced. You may want to look at mirroring the cards using a power-up like Unito. This is a paid solution but may end up paying for itself seeing as it will save you from…
-
@Anna Love do you see the export option in your workspace settings? This will create individual CSV files for each board.
-
Hi @Anna Love ! Welcome to the community :) are you able to expand a bit around the need for exporting all boards? What sort of format does it need to be in? It is possible to export workspace-level data as outlined here (under "Export all boards within a workspace") - note this is a premium feature. If you're looking to…

Hi @sergio.peschiera ! Just a heads up that you've posted this in the Trello community. There are some Jira experts here, but you might get a quicker response posting in the right place: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira/ct-p/jira
-
Hi @Jesse Lopes ! Welcome to the community :) it is possible to create calculations with butler and custom fields (see here under "Custom field arithmetic"). Are you able to explain a bit more how you see the calculation working?

Hi @Anuradha Yadav ! Just a heads up that you've posted this in the Trello community. There are some Jira experts here, but you might get a quicker response posting in the right place: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira/ct-p/jira

Hi @Wendy Papadakis ! Welcome to the community :) have you tried following the instructions outlined in this guide? https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/inviting-people-to-a-workspace/
-
Hi @M.Ito ! According to this doc, {username} is the person who triggers the command as you said. I tested it out on my end, and the custom field is always populated with the person who triggered the command, not the user who set up the rule. It's strange how you're experiencing a different result 🤔 what type of custom…

Hi @Mohamed Fouad ! For the moment, Trello doesn't offer the "dashboard" view as a part of their workspace views; you can only create table and calendar views at the workspace level. Workspace views are fairly new, so Trello might release more views in the future. You can reach out to Trello to request this feature as well…
-
Hi @[deleted] ! Welcome to the community :) would switching the board to private work in this case? That would mean only the members you actively invite to the board will be able to access it, plus any workspace admins.
-
@Rohan Agarwal For the first command, it needs to be a calendar command seeing as the trigger is based on a schedule. For the second command, it would be a rule-based trigger. Here's a basic guide of creating butler commands and you can see how to create rules vs calendar…
-
Hi @christoph_rahe1 ! Welcome to the community :) what you've highlighted is the card history of activity; it's expected that most changes to the card (date changes, list transitions, member assignment, etc.) are captured within the card's activity. It's always been like this as far as I know! There's no way to stop Trello…
-
Hi @Barry Schulte ! For the moment, Trello doesn't offer default board views - having different ways to view the board information is reasonably new I guess, so perhaps setting a default view will be something Trello considers for the future. You can reach out to Trello if you wanted to request this…

@Rohan Agarwal what part are you getting stuck on? Here's a screenshot of my command if that helps:
-
@Rohan Agarwal in the example shown in the guide, they're using the action "send an email notification", so in your case, you would just simply swap that out with "send a slack notification". Let me know if you get stuck with the set up and I can send through some screenshots if that helps :)
-
Hi @Rohan Agarwal ! Check out creating butler reports as well as butler variables. For your first command, it would just be a simple calendar command which includes your report. And for the second command, it would be a trigger-based rule that occurs when a card transitions from "to do" to "doing".
-
Hi @Sergei S ! Welcome to the community :) You might be able to achieve what you want using butler. The idea would be to use pattern matching and wildcards to find the matching card. So something along the lines of: "When the name of the card contains "ABC {*}", lookup a card titled {wildcard1} and archive the card".
-
Hi @Alonso Rodriguez ! Welcome to the community :) will the card titles always start with "Module 2: "? If so, you can use pattern matching and wildcards to achieve what you want. So your action can say "find a card titled Module 2: {*}". This will find any card starting with "Module 2: ".

@Dan Jeans ah right - in that case, I'd suggest seeing if Trello can see on the back end who/what is causing the automation. They might be able to tell you what user is associated to it so you're able to disable it if you need. You can talk to Trello directly here: https://trello.com/contact#/

Hi @Ольга Нагорняк ! Welcome to the community! Are you on a free or Standard plan with Trello? Or are you on a Premium or Enterprise plan? If you're on the Premium/Enterprise plan, you'll have access to the calendar view. If you're on the free/Standard plan, you won't have access to the calendar view, but you can use the…
-
Hi @Robert Engen ! Welcome to the community :) I'd suggest using labels to categorize cards. You can either manually apply the label to the card, or create card templates so the labels are applied automatically. From there, you can use a butler rule to auto-copy cards to their lists based on the label: If you're not keen…
-
Hi @Dan Jeans ! Welcome to the community :) do you have other members on your board? Perhaps someone else created a rule to auto-apply labels? If you're the admin of the board, you can see all rules created by others on your board (see here for more info). Other than that, how are you creating the cards? Are you just…
-
@James Michaelides I don't have much insight with this one, but you can reach out to Trello directly here and ask the team: https://trello.com/contact#/ I can't see anything on the roadmap (https://www.atlassian.com/roadmap/cloud?selectedProduct=trello) but they might be able to tell you if it's something they're…
-
Hi @Candela Fumale ! Welcome to the community :) What sort of activity are you being notified of? It could be that you're following the board maybe? Another reason you would be notified when you're not following a card/list/board is if you're @mentioned in a card. Also, just to confirm, are you seeing an eye icon on the…
-
Hi @A_ Lee ! Welcome to the community :) it looks like there's some sort of automation that's creating these cards. Can you check the card activity and look at the card creation history? That might be able to give you some insight into who/what created these cards. For example, if the cards were automatically created via…
-
Hi @Jason Gibson ! Welcome to the community :) are you able to share the rule your other member created? What part isn't working? Are they not receiving any emails at all? Have you checked out the command logs to see if any email was sent or if there are any errors?
-
@Heather Renee you should be able to submit a ticket via https://trello.com/en/contact#/. There's a form at the bottom: You can submit tickets regardless of what plan you're on by the way (it's also possible to submit a ticket without being logged in). If you see different, are you able to share a screenshot?
-
@atlasstrom as mentioned above, labels in Trello exist at the board level. Most things are applied at that same level - lists, custom fields, power ups, etc. It's not like Jira where those things exist at the "instance" level. There's no way around it seeing as it's just the way Trello has been designed.

Hi @Kevin Oñate ! Welcome to the community :) you have all of the instructions outlined in this guide https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/creating-and-managing-task-dependencies/ Basically, you just need two butler rules: when an item is added to checklist "Sub-tasks" by anyone, convert the item into a linked card…
