Edit: That first rule should actually contain the {* } variable. Also, I added an extra action to remove the @mention from the title just to make things cleaner:

Hi @Eamon McCracken ! Welcome to the community :) I had a play around and managed to make it work. Here are the commands I created (a sort of simplified version of yours): I think the key here is to add "@" before your {wildcard1} variable.

Hi @Lauren Weinberg ! Welcome to the community :) on the free plan, you can add members and due dates to cards, however, you don't have access to advanced checklists which allows you to add additional information to checklist items (members and due dates). On the free plan, you can only add basic information to checklist…

Hi @Nicole Paul ! Welcome to the community :) so you're just seeing the email subject line in your comment and it doesn't copy over the body of the email? That does seem strange! I'm not able to test on my end as I don't have a mac, but this is how it looks for me using gmail: Maybe try creating a test email and sending it…

Hi @Margarita Gomez Lince welcome to the community! It sounds like you might need a due date command instead? Your command trigger is "when a due date is marked as incomplete". What that means is it will trigger when a card was previously marked as complete, and then you marked it incomplete. What might make more sense is…

Hi @Nacrissa vil ! Welcome to the community :) yes, it's possible to create calculations of custom field values using butler automation. Take a look here under "Custom field arithmetic". Alternatively, Dashcards could work! The default is to display the count of cards on the dashcard, but you can also switch this to show a…
-
@Beth Olson gotcha! Maybe have a look into the Planyway power up. You can create consolidated views and I believe there's a board view there. It would be a paid solution, however.
-
Hi @BF Trello Automations ! Are you able to share the command you've set up? As far as I know, the {customfieldvalue} variable only works when the trigger contains the custom field. E.g. "when X custom field is set, for each card linked in the attachments, set custom field X to {customfieldvalue}."

Hi @Dave Zellner ! Welcome to the community :) You can change the card cover appearance by selecting the little pencil on the front of your card (the quick edit option), and then select "change cover": From there, you can change the cover size to cover the full card or just part of the card. The latter is the one you want…

Hi @Beth Olson ! Welcome to the community :) Trello does offer workspace views which do give you the ability to see cards from multiple boards in one place. For the moment, you can create a workspace view in a tabular or calendar format. It sounds like you're wanting to see all cards in a board format, though? Trello…

It sounds like the way to go would be to leave them on. For the attachments you don't want to be covers, you'll just need to select "remove cover" at the individual card level. Not sure if there's a different way to approach this, sorry!
-
It does include the content though! Cards that have members are populated, same with descriptions, due dates and attachments. If I scroll to the right, I see all the custom field values. If all the cards had descriptions, due dates, labels, members, etc. there would be more information in the sheet. It sounds like you've…
-
@Ann Schofield it should be there just under the regular board settings! The screenshot you shared is more about advanced restrictions/privileges that can be set at the workspace level. To access your board settings, open your board>>select "Show Menu">>More...>>Board Settings. More details…
-
Hi @Ann Schofield ! Welcome to the community :) It is possible to disable card covers in your board settings: This will turn it off for all cards in your board. If you're wanting to disable card covers for some cards, you'll need to remove the card cover at the individual card level:
-
@[deleted] oh right, so the csv export doesn't seem to populating correctly? This is how it looks for me: Not quite sure why yours is blank 🤔 maybe try open the csv file in a different application like google sheets?
-
Hi @Gillian ! Welcome to the community :) You just need to disable the power-up. Simply select the "Power-Ups" button at the top-right of your board, find the power-up, select settings, and you should see a "disable" option there. Just note that with some power-ups that are owned by 3rd-parties, when you enable the…

@[deleted] For the native export tool mentioned above, the csv contains pretty much all of the card contents except for checklists and comments I guess. Comments can't be edited by others though, so that shouldn't be a concern. Checklists can be edited, however. Based on what you're saying, staff do need to actually edit…

@[deleted] when you say card contents, what information are you expecting to see? When you export a board as a csv file, you get the card description, labels, members, due date, and attachments for each card. If that's not detailed enough, there are power-ups that will export board/card contents for you (just search…

Do you need Premium features for all boards? Perhaps having a separate free personal workspace could be the way to go? If not, there are some alternatives: 1. Use collections for organising the boards. It's sort of like putting them into folders within the one workspace. 2. Make some boards private - e.g the personal…
-
@mike peterson welcome to the community! You have power-ups like Planyway that allow you to create a 2-way sync with GCal. Unito is another 2-way sync that works a bit differently. Both power-ups are paid solutions but will give you a true sync. Another alternative which I believe is free would be Zapier. However, Zapier…
-
Hi @Hannah Teutscher ! Welcome to the community :) You can make the board public to achieve this. E.g. this template here is set to public meaning anyone can have view-only access and only the board members/admins are able to make changes to the board.
-
Hi @Benjamin Jarry ! Welcome to the community :) you can export butler rules using command libraries. Have a look a "Sharing Command Libraries" in this guide: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/working-with-command-libraries/ Basically you're just creating a collection of commands, sharing it with your workspace,…

Hi @[deleted] ! Welcome to the community :) Are you just looking for a way to back up the board? What sort of format does your export need to be in? You can export the board as a csv file if you're on a Premium plan. You can also create reports using butler which is something you can do on the free plan. There are a few…
-
Hi @Stevie Daniels ! Welcome to the community :) if you're using Trello's native export tool, then no, there's no way to customize the output. I'd suggest looking into Dashcards - you can filter your reports and export them as a csv.
-
Hi @orbticoms ! Welcome to Trello :) generally, Enterprise plans are designed for larger organizations that need more administrative powers and security. Looking at Trello's website, the minimum amount of users is 25, so Premium would be the way to go. What's the need for wanting more than one workspace? Generally,…
-
@Olivia Henao I think the only way it'd work in that case would be if your format was something like: "New Marketing Request - {Date} {Department} - {Need} - {Request Number}" Then, your command could say: when I enter a card name containing a date after "New Marketing Request -", set due on the date and remove the matched…

@Jason Holder If your coworker is a workspace member or a multi-board guest, when you upgrade your workspace to Premium, he'll be counted as a license within your workspace and you'll be charged for that user. So if you have 5 users in your workspace who are workspace members or multi-board guests, and you have 10 people…
-
@Jason Holder welcome to the community! Trello's pricing works at the workspace level; not the user level. When you upgrade to a paid subscription, it gets associated to your workspace. All boards within that workspace will benefit from the paid features. Adding workspace members allows these users to view and utilize…

Ah! I see, thanks for clarifying :) It looks like it's expected - I see the same on my end. You may have to manage that process manually by copying the card without the comments and then copying the comments from the original card to the newly created one. I couldn't see an easy way to automate that process other than just…
-
Hi @Katherine Wiant ! Welcome to the community :) it sounds like the members are getting wiped from the card when it's copied to the other board due to those users not being members of that secondary board. If adding these members to both boards is not an option, I'd suggest capturing the members of the card in a different…
