@Lucy Warman if it's working when you manually create a card and then update the description to contain your @mention, that tells me that the trigger only applies when a description is updated. If cards are created via a form, the description is pre-populated, so there is no update to the description in order to trigger…

@Peter Cranston it is possible to pull checklist items into your report using the {cardcheckliststate} variable in your report, but it's not possible to pull checklist item due dates and members for the moment. Because of this, you won't be able to filter on overdue items/sort by assigned member. If you're needing…

@Daniel Tan are you able to open your read notifications in the notification panel to see if the comment activity is there? If it's not there at all, it might be worth reaching out to Trello support to see why the notification wasn't sent at all.

Hi @Yara Farhat ! Would it make sense to change the action from "copy the card" to "create a unique card"? Butler won't create it again if it already exists in this case. You can then use variables to copy any needed information from the trigger card like descriptions, labels, etc.

@kate are you able to make sure that the creator of the command is also a member of all boards? It could be that the automation is being blocked due to insufficient privileges - i.e. the user cannot execute the commands due to not having access to the board. The command logs should show you an error if that's the case.

Hi @Vuong Ha ! Maybe this will work? when an item starting with "xxx" is added to a checklist, assign the item to member @{username}
-
Hi @Aleem ! Welcome to the community :) You can use automation and custom field variables for this. For example: "When a card is moved into list "Incoming", move the card to the bottom of the list "{{%Category}}"

Hi @[deleted] Welcome to the community! No, this isn't possible for the moment, but if you're looking to just share some information with certain members, have a look at the External Share power-up. An alternative would be to create a secondary board for these members and sync cards from your main board to the secondary…

Hi @Athena Mercado ! Welcome to the community :) if your timezone differs from butler's timezone, it will notify you of this and prompt you to update your butler timezone. See here for more details.
-
@Jared Leotaud welcome to the community! Are you able to elaborate a bit more around what you mean by "linked"? It is possible to copy cards and link them together automatically using butler automation if that's what you mean?
-
@Lamorna Hollingsworth welcome to the community :) maybe storing this information in custom fields will help?
-
Hi @Daniel Tan ! Are you able to confirm if you're watching the cards where you were not notified of comments? You can't unread activity to cards directly from within the card like you mentioned, but you can do this from your notification panel.
-
Hi @Jorge Álvarez ! Welcome to the community :) for the moment, Trello doesn't offer much customization around user-level permissions; board members have the ability to edit most elements on a board and it's not currently possible to remove the ability to edit a specific card field. One workaround could be to use butler…
-
Hi @Josh Mollart welcome to the community! Take a look at https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/butler-variables/. You have variables like {cardname} and {customfieldvalue}.
-
Hi @Peter Cranston ! Welcome to the community :) there are different ways to set this up depending on what you need to see. One option is using butler automation. For example, you can set up a recurring email report that lists all cards on a board. You can customize what/how the information is displayed e.g. all cards on…
-
Hi @Nicole Parker ! Welcome to the community :) you can just make the board a template and ensure it's in your shared workspace. If it's a template, it will become view-only, so the workspace members can view and copy the template. Template boards is a feature of the premium plan, so if you're on the freemium or standard…
-
Hi @Eric Sirianni ! {monthnumber} will give you the current month number. So if the date is July 29th, it's expected that {monthnumber} will return "7". Have a look at https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/arithmetic-and-formatting-in-date-variables/ If you're wanting to return a date that's 2 working days from today,…
-
Hi @Pritesh_Gohil ! What are you wanting to see in the report? Are you not able to get an understanding of progress by just glancing at the board? If you're looking to get an email report of some sort, you might be able to achieve what you want using butler reports. There's also Dashcards which could be helpful if you're…
-
@Deb Breen the example I sent is actually a schedule command, rather than a rule. There's an overview of the different types of commands in the link I included, along with how to create a schedule command. Also, what do you mean by command line? There shouldn't be any restrictions around who can create commands. If you're…

Strange! It looks like the forwarded message isn't coming through, only the subject line. What does the email you want to forward contain? Maybe try forward a basic email that just has a few sentences of text? I'm not sure if I'll be able to help much more from this point onward, so it'd probably be worth submitting a…

@Rodrigo Garcia yes, the calendar view I linked is a feature of the premium plan. Are you using the free calendar power-up? I don't believe that power-up shows both start and due dates (just the due dates). You may want to look at other calendar power-ups to see if they offer what you need…
-
HI @Yeshodhara Baskaran ! I guess you would need some way to map the username to the email address so Trello knows what user correlates to what address. One idea could be to create a sort of "directory" of users. So the idea would be to create cards titled with each member's username. Then, in the description or a custom…
-
Hi @Rodrigo Garcia ! Trello's calendar view should show the duration of a card if you set both the start and due dates.
-
Hi @Oliver welcome to the community :) I think you can disable it via https://trello.com/my/labs
-
Hi @Leslie Rieger ! The variable you want is {lastmonthname} :) It's all detailed here: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/butler-variables/ (look under "Date Variables")
-
Hi @Giona Nicora ! Welcome to the community :) are you referring to workspace views? It doesn't look like it's been released on the mobile app; only the web and desktop apps. You can however request this via https://trello.com/contact#/ if you'd like!
-
Hi @Deb Breen ! Butler and Automation are the same thing, yes - sometimes referred to as Butler automation :) What I'd suggest is creating a schedule command using Butler automation. So it could look something like this: The output looks like this: I think the only way would be to create a separate command for each board…
-
@Eliza Reynolds welcome to the community! I'd suggest looking at creating a due date command in Butler instead. It could look something like this: The idea would be to create a separate command for each member of the board (I couldn't see an easy way to create just one command). For the moment, there's no way to set up due…

@Kath Milo maybe also have a look into Zapier? They don't have an integration with Xero Projects, but you can set up an automation that creates/updates a contact in Xero when a new board is created. From there, I believe you can have it so a project gets automatically created in Xero projects using Xero's native…

Hi @Тигран Оганджанян ! Welcome to the community :) For the moment, most data in Trello is stored at the board level. So labels, custom fields, and lists. There is currently no way to create these things at a higher level like the workspace level. You could create workarounds with automation, but I'm not sure they'll be…
