Hi @Dan ! Welcome to the community :) It doesn't look like you can set this up with a simple butler rule seeing as there isn't a way to use a variable in the checklist item's due date field. As an alternative, I'm wondering if Dashcards might help here? So instead of creating this summary card, instead, create a dashcard…

Hi @Ilya Garmashev ! As long as you have desktop notifications turned on, this should be possible! Just make sure you're either following the board or list, that way, you'll be notified when someone creates a card. From there, you can just configure your computer to make a noise when you get a desktop notification.
-
@Angela Ballone are you able to check to see if you're receiving the notification in the first place? It might be that because you're in Trello when the activity happens, the notification is being marked as "read". You can check all read notifications here: Maybe also try testing it by shutting down Trello on your computer…
-
Hi @Lita Merrill ! Welcome to the community :) yes, you can achieve this with butler automation. Try something like the below: when a card is moved into list "Trigger", convert all the items in checklist "Tasks" into linked cards in list "Things to do"
-
Hi @Annemarie ! We come to the community :) you can use the advanced search and filter on open cards https://trello.com/search?q=is:open
-
Hi @Angela Ballone ! Welcome to the community :) the red bell is to signal that there has been some activity that you've been notified of. There are certain things that will trigger a notification such as due date reminders, someone @mentioning you, etc. (more details here). When you say "when my boss post some task for…
-
Hi @Georgy Grigoryev ! There's no way to set an icon for a board for the moment, but you could add an emoji to the title if that helps?
-
@SEBOT In that case, you would just remove the "set the item due in 1 weeks" action in your command seeing as it's not applicable.
-
@SEBOT I would guess it has something to do with this part "set the item due in 1 weeks". If your trigger was something like "When I create a checklist item, set the item due in 1 weeks", that would make sense. However, in your command, butler doesn't know what checklist item you're trying to reference. Are you wanting to…

@Jason M Unito will be able to sync the whole card including the checklist - it's a 2-way sync so any changes made to the checklist (completing an item, assigning a due date, etc.) will sync back and forth. Alternatively, if the goal is to have a consolidated view of checklist items, Planyway could potentially help here.…
-
Hi @Ineke Vanhaelemeesch ! Welcome to the community :) you'll need to find the card that is hosting that checklist first. Maybe try searching for the card title in your board or in the archived section of your board. Once you have the card that's hosting the checklist, you can edit it from there (change the checklist name,…
-
@Lars Lomberg welcome to the community! If you want to add that manual step to the process, would it work to create a butler button instead? So instead of the trigger being "when the checklist is complete", it would be based on you selecting the card button. Alternatively, you could have a final checklist item at the…

@olinesn I'm not the right person to ask for this, sorry - I'm just a community member. You can talk directly to Trello here: https://trello.com/contact#/
-
@William Fanning I think I see what you mean - that doesn't seem right to me! I'd report it as a bug via https://trello.com/en/contact
-
@William Fanning are you trying to hyperlink the card in your description? If you type "...explained later in [this card](https://trello.com/c/abcde)" it should work. Or, if you're using the new WYSIWYG editor, you can just highlight the text and select the link icon.
-
Hi info@solar24.gmbh ! Welcome to the community :) there are a couple of different ways to achieve this, but this should work for what you want: when the name of a card contains "{*}", find the first card linked in the attachments, and rename the card to "{triggercardname}"
-
@Ana Cabrera how about auto-labeling the linked cards with the parent card name? Your automation rule could incorporate an additional action to label the card - e.g. when an item is added to checklist "Tasks", convert the item to a linked card, and add the grey "{triggercardname}" label to the card. From there, you can…

This is awesome @Alicia Filíu Birlanga !! Glad you were able to get some inspiration from my post 😊
-
Hi @Dan Campbell ! Welcome to the community :) you should be able to achieve this with butler automation. For example: when an item is checked in a checklist named "Checklist 1", remove item "{checklistitemname}", and add item "{checklistitemname}" to checklist "Checklist 2" You can then create another rule for the 3rd…
-
Hi @Ioannis Alexis ! Welcome to the community :) It's not currently possible to set granular permissions at the user level to prevent members from editing certain field values. If you want a workaround, maybe butler automation could help here. For example: "When a due date is moved by anyone except [insert admin user…
-
Hi @Mark Queppet ! That screenshot is from the calendar power-up. Trello's native calendar view doesn't add a strikethrough when a due date is marked as complete.
-
@Abby R how is the list title structured? You can customise the list name depending on where the order number is in the title of the list. For example: "...move the card to list " XYZ Order: {wildcard1}".
-
@Alejandro Valdes you can add additional actions to your rule if you need to add more information to the card (e.g. add checklist from X card, description, labels, etc.). Alternatively, you can add a template card pre-loaded with all this information to a "template" list, and instead of having the command create a new…
-
Hey @Abby R ! Take a look into wildcards. If your card title contains "Order number: 1234", you can reference the order number by saying "Order number: {* }". For example, "When a card title contains "Order number: {* }", move the card to list {wildcard1}".
-
Looks like you're running into a rate limiting error. Trello has a limit of 300 requests per 10 seconds.
-
You could create something similar with Planyway if you made the lists in your board the different months of the year. Then, in Planyway, toggle to the timeline view, group by list and you'll have the different months displayed vertically and the days/weeks displayed horizontally.
-
Hi @NoufAlSaeed ! Are you able to explain your workflow in a bit more detail? Why are you looking to move issues from Jira to Trello? These are two completely separate applications so when moving an issue in Jira, there is no option to move it to a Trello board. You could sync or copy the Jira issue to a Trello board so…
-
Your variables need a space between them - that's why it's ignoring the due date time. It should look like this: {triggercardduedate} {triggercardduedatetime} Not quite sure why Trello is throwing a loop error 🤔 strangely, if the automation reads like this: when a due date is moved in a card, find the first card linked in…
-
hmmm I can't see a simple way to set that up using Trello's butler automation 🤔 @milynnus is the butler expert - maybe he can help?
-
Hi @Melissa Wilson ! Trello doesn't offer the ability to minimize lists, but there is a chrome extension that will do this for you: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/collapsible-trello-lists/kejemfjfgoaekplmemlkjljcfloiemho?hl=en
