You should be able to achieve this using a regular expression. Try this: when a card is added to list "regex:/.*(\w+).*/" This trigger will apply to any card created or moved into any list.

Hi @Janis Ericson welcome to the community 😊 to clarify, should the cards remain unassigned on the planning board and once copied to the team board, the copies should be automatically assigned? Is there an automation to copy them to the team board? Should all the cards be assigned to one particular member, or does it vary…

Hi @Katharine Slater welcome to the community 😊 there are many benefits to upgrading such as custom fields, the ability to create more than 10 boards, more automation runs, and lots more all detailed here: https://trello.com/pricing However, if you're just upgrading for the calendar view, you can just use the calendar…

Bonjour @Mathieu CERENZIA et bienvenue 😊 vous pouvez créer un tableau public. Regarde cela: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/changing-the-visibility-of-a-board/

Hi @G_POZO ! Welcome to the community :) Are you able to paste your automation command here so I can see how you've set it up? Just a note on creating unique cards, the card will be created only if one with the same title doesn't exist in the list. As for copying the details from the original card to the newly created…

Hi @Braden Barranco ! Welcome to the community 😊 I'd suggest using butler automation to create your repeating cards instead. It's much more customizable and you can set a start date. You just need to head over to schedule commands and create a rule along the lines of: every 3 months on the first working day at 9:00 am…

Hi @Sheena Tosta ! Welcome to the community :) just to double-check, are you a workspace admin? Can you send a screenshot of what you're looking at as well?
-
@adrian_chmiala as far as I know, it isn't possible to set up custom checklist item due date reminders with butler automation for the moment. What you've set up will actually trigger when a due date is set on the checklist item. What you need is a due date command that is triggered based on when the checklist item is due.…
-
Hi @adrian_chmiala ! Have you had a look into Zapier? You should be able to set up that automation pretty easily https://zapier.com/apps/excel/integrations/trello

Hi @John Britton welcome to the community:) it looks like you have two custom fields called "Estimate". Are you using a power-up or extension that generates fields on the card as well?
-
Yes that all looks fine to me! In terms of creating rules that are relevant to all members, when you create a new rule, it does mean that only that person is able to administer that rule. However, the automation should trigger for everyone based on how you've set it up. The rule is saying "when anyone marks the due date as…

Ok I guess if you don't want to continue using the incognito browser, perhaps just clearing your cache/cookies could help. Or using the desktop app version?
-
Ah, I see. So that's two seperate things: 1. When a card is added/moved/copied to a board. Or when a card is added to a specific list (a brand new card is being created) 2. When a card is moved in a board (an existing card is moved from one list to another). Do you want the action to trigger when a card is both newly…

Hi @Beate Freuding ! Welcome to the community 😊 are you able to check you are a member of the board? As a workspace member, you can view all workspace visable boards, but in order to make changes to a board, you need to actively join it. You can check this by seeing if you're a member at the top of the board (if not, you…

@Zack Robertson yes it's possible using butler automation and the cascade function. For it to work though, you need a way to relate cards together. For example, linking cards in the attachments. Additionally, you need to think about preventing looping. So, let's say you have a rule that says "when a card's due date is…
-
Hi @Qwerty Qwerty ! What triggers are you setting up? In some cases you can create OR statements. If it's just the trigger around when a card is created, moved into, copied, or emailed into the board, using "when a card is added to the board" will encompass all of those.
-
@Ben Cuthbert let me know if you need help with the automation, but you'll need to use two variables in your rule: {carddescription} (in order to not override the current description) {attachmentlink} So your rule would be something like: "When an attachment is added to a card, change description to {carddescription}…

Interesting! Did you manage to figure out if it was a chrome extension messing things up?
-
Hi @yamunakoelsch ! Welcome to the community 😊 have you tried using butler automation to repeat cards before? It's a lot more customizable than the repeater power-up. Basically, you create "if this, then that" statements. So if this thing happens, then do this thing. In your case, it sounds like there would be multiple…
-
Hi @André Oliveira ! Welcome to the community :) for the moment, Trello's permissions don't drill down to the field level - so there's no way to create granular permissions that restrict users from editing certain information within a card. If someone is a member of your board, they can edit all aspects of the board…
-
@Steen Sigmund how strange! Do you get the same result in an incognito browser or in the desktop app? Perhaps an extension of some sort messing things up?
-
Hi @Dirk Reinink ! Welcome to the community. Workspace views give you a consolidated view of information across multiple boards, however, it doesn't drill down to the checklist level yet. You'll see a few posts in the community asking for this feature such as this one. It might pay to submit a feature request to help bump…

Great! Glad that helped ☺️

It looks like the only fields supported by butler are title and description. Generally, would the attachments be added before or after the card is copied to Jira? If it's before, you could create a separate automation that adds the attachment links to the description.
-
Hi @Marnie Andrews ! I just tried to follow your steps and was able to complete 6 and 7 with no issue, so not entirely sure why it's not working for you 🤔 maybe an add-on is interfering here? Do you get the same behaviour using Trello in an incognito browser? Can I suggest a potentially more efficient process using…
-
Hi @Nicolas Sandim ! Welcome to the community! 😊 I have a couple of ideas to make this process more efficient: 1. Use keyboard shortcuts to copy + paste (ctrl/command+c , ctrl/command+v). Not as swift as just dragging and dropping, but a bit quicker than right clicking. 2. Use labels to copy the cards to a specific list.…
-
Hi @Ian Graham ! I'd suggest using a regular expression in this case in order to create an "OR" statement. Try something like this: when the name of a card contains "regex:/.*(rush|Rush|RUSH|Hard Due Date|HARD DUE DATE).*/", add member @jazmariah to the card
-
Hi @Ben Cuthbert ! What card contents do you need to see within Jira? Just the description? If so, your rule would need to look something like this: when x happens, create a Jira "Task" with title "{cardname}" and description "{carddescription}" in project "x" in site "x"

Hi @dina.nassar ! Have a look at this article here. A guest is a normal board member by default and can make changes to the board just like other normal board members. Premium and Enterprise Workspaces can also turn a guest into a read-only observer for more granular control over a guest's ability to edit the board.

Hi @Sara Carneiro ! Welcome to the community 😊 Trello's plans are applied at the workspace level. So if you are the only member in your workspace, you'll be charged $10 p/mo. If you have two workspaces and you'd like to use premium features in both, you would be charged $20 p/mo. If you add members to your workspace,…
