Hi @Jorey McComas welcome to the community 😊 I believe button automations display on the back of the card in alphabetical order, so you could prefix the names of the buttons to make them appear in the order you want.

1. It looks like you've added brackets to the name of the checklist item, so you'd need to match that spelling to the last part of your rule. Was the goal to make the checklist item a hyperlink? If so, it should be [{triggercardname}]({triggercardlink}) So it should say: "add item "[{triggercardname}]({triggercardlink})"…
-
Great! Glad that's working for you 😊
-
For that particular rule, what it's doing is marking the checklist item as complete in the project board when the matching linked card is moved to the done list. You can create another rule to make it happen in the other direction if that's what you need.
-
Hi @Avinash Challa you can convert it back to a regular board here: Your comments will then reappear.
-
@r0629527 welcome to the community 😊 if you wanted to create one rule, you could say something like: when list "Doing" has exactly 0 cards, create a unique card with title "{boardname}" in list "Not Doing" And then just enable it on the applicable boards. For your other question about what happens when a card goes from…

@Scott Nelson someone might be able to help you here in the Trello community, but you'll probably have more luck over in the Jira community: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira/ct-p/jira
-
Ah, right I thought the field was named "TeamRecommendationvalue" 😅 Glad that's working for you!
-
@Garet Rose Yes you would need to create separate rules to achieve that. For example: when a card is moved into list "Done", find the first card linked in the attachments, and check item "{triggercardlink}" (you would set this rule up on your board) Not all things can be synced back and forth, however. What actions are you…

Thanks so much for the extra context @richard.whelan that's super helpful! Assuming there are already checklist items in your completion checklist card that match exactly with the cards above, then maybe something like this could work? when the due date is marked as complete in a card in list "Site Template", find a card…
-
You can add an additional action to move the card to another board:
-
Hi @Jenn K welcome to the community 😊 try using {{%TeamRecommendationvalue}}. See https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/working-with-custom-fields/
-
Hi @richard.whelan welcome to the community 😊 this should be possible with butler. Can you give a bit more information on the workflow? Is there an existing card where all the checklist items should be stored within? What should happen to the original card? Should it archive? Do you want the newly created checklist item to…
-
Hi @Garet Rose welcome to the community! 😊 What you've described makes perfect sense! It's a question that I've seen come up a few times. Have a look at this post here. It does explain some limitations with butler automation around using the checklist item member variable, however, there are some workarounds provided. Hope…

@Nicole Pennington I missed your message, sorry! Hopefully, you managed to find it! But if you didn't, or if anyone else looks at this, this is where you go to find the action to "convert item to a linked card":

Hi @İbrahim Uzar welcome to the community 😊 It's not possible regardless of which Trello plan you are on to only give access to certain cards within a single board. The only way to give someone access to a card is to add them to the whole board which will mean they can see all cards on that board. What I'd suggest is to…
-
Hi @Stanley Liam SRSUK welcome to the community 😊 From what I can see, Trello's dashboard view does allow you to create a chart that tracks cards by due date, but it appears to be designed to track completed cards, so it only shows dates in the past. I'd suggest submitting a feature request to show future dates as well! As…
-
Hi @Vinicius Moises welcome to the community 😊 just to clarify, are you looking to copy certain cards to another board in a separate workspace? If so, you can achieve this using butler automation! For example, "when the "A" label is applied to a card, copy the card to the bottom of the list "To Do" on the "A" board." Does…
-
@Ashish Dobriyal I believe it's a dropdown field, but you should be able to type the field name as well. Just make sure you spell it word for word.
-
Ah whoops good catch!
-
Hi @Sara Wiskerchen ! Welcome to the community :) your automation is triggered when a card is created, so I'm guessing at that point there is no information in the card? You'd probably want to look at changing the trigger to something else so that the card copies once all the information has been populated, rather than…
-
@John Dunlea when editing your automation, you can just type the regex into this field here instead of picking a dropdown option:
-
@Ashish Dobriyal yes this should be possible! I'm not sure if you can achieve this all within one rule though (someone else might prove me wrong though!). You might need to create another "total" field then use butler to calculate the total duration (see custom field arithmetic here). Then use date arithmetic to add this…
-
@John Dunlea you should be able to achieve this using a regular expression: Move each card from the list "regex:/.*(BACKLOG|ON DECK)"
-
Hi @G_POZO yes that's true, you can't set a variable in this case. You could look at adding the due date in the title of the card instead, then there's another automation that will set the due date based on what's in the title: when I enter a card name containing a date, set due on the date and remove the matched text
-
Hi @Robert Chisholm ! Welcome to the community :) it is possible to automatically update due dates in cards using butler automation. However, there needs to be some way to link these related cards together so butler knows which cards to update. How are you currently associating cards?
-
Hi @Brittany Spillman ! Welcome to the community :) What you're seeing there is a card sticker. It's not default behaviour for this sticker to be applied to cards when they're overdue, so it's likely someone has setup a butler automation to auto-apply these stickers. Are you able to check to see if you're able to see any…
-
Hi @Jill Barton ! It looks like there isn't a trigger for "when a checklist item is assigned to a member". You can reach out to Trello directly here if you want to ask if it's planned for the near future. In the meantime, you could create separate checklists for each person - e.g. if an item is added to the "Jill"…
-
Great! Glad to hear you managed to get it fixed ☺️
-
Yes, you're right - you'll need two seperate rules to achieve that! Should be easy to manage though and you won't have to update it everytime you edit/add a list or label. Glad I could help!
