@Rue Walker do you have a time mentioned in your trigger? If not, it will trigger at the due time set on the card. E.g. you have a card due on June 7th, 5 pm. Your automation will trigger on May 31st, 5 pm. You can specify when exactly you would like the automation to trigger, which will override the due time:

@curt wallis maybe check your email preferences? https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/receiving-trello-notifications/ Or perhaps the emails are going to a different folder/spam?
-
@Jen which Trello plan are you on? To add a watcher (observer), you need to be on the Premium plan https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/adding-observers-to-boards/
-
@Francisco Duron yes definitely. You use @card to notify all card members, or @board for all board members. Or would the group be something else? As for notifying the customer, as you said, you can create a custom field called "Customer Email" to host their address. It might help to have a customer name field as well. Try…

Hey Ryan, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the trigger should simply be "when the "Compliance Member" field is set..." You could also streamline this into one simple rule using variables: when custom field "Member" is set in a card with custom field "Stage" set to "Compliance", move the card to the top of the list…

@McSpadden_ Noah have a look into wildcards. You can match a word or phrase in the description and use it elsewhere. So to clarify, do you want to set the due date field in the card with the assignment due date? Is there any unique identifier for the due date so Trello knows which date to pull? For example, you could have…

@Board Genius same thing happens with me, so seems like a bug perhaps. Looks like it's specific to the embedded version...just going to trello.com/power-ups seems to work fine. e.g. https://trello.com/power-ups/search?q=board
-
@Jen Winter welcome :) I'd suggest starting with browsing the template gallery to get some ideas: https://trello.com/templates There's also the getting started guide here: https://trello.com/guide/trello-101 Or if you're a more visual learner, there are plenty of videos out there…

@gabriel alessio try a due date command:
-
Yep, it applies if the boards exist across different workspaces 🙂
-
Ok, that's strange. This is what I did to test it - let me know which part I'm not understanding: 1. Create new "Test View" 2. Set it to "workspace visible" 3. Set the filter to show cards from two boards, and only cards with the red label (there are many cards without a red label) 4. Save view This is what I see on my…

@Barbara Lescrauwaet what you're experiencing is the expected behaviour - when creating a board from a template, the automations won't be enabled by default. Automations exist at the user level, not the board level, so you as the user would need to be a member of the new board and enable the different rules on this new…
-
@Amy Cook Welcome :) yes, it is possible to create automations across multiple boards! Give it a try! when a card is added to the board, copy the card to the top of list "To Do" on board "My Tasks", and link the cards together. You can filter the trigger so only certain cards get copied, or, maybe you only want them to…
-
@Juan Pablo Torres it sounds like you're either watching that card, the list, or the board. You can unwatch a card/list/board to no longer receive notifications. See more here: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/watching-cards-lists-and-boards/
-
The expected behavior is for everyone to see the same filtered results. I'd reach out to Trello support and maybe attach some snapshots of what the different members see when looking at the workspace view.
-
@Dr David Best to clarify, are you looking to create a master view of cards across multiple boards? And would it just be for view-only purposes? If so, there are a few options: 1. Use workspace views to create consolidated views (only available on Premium). 2. Create a "master dashboard" board and use dashcards to create a…
-
@Fishtails Admin I'd use labels for this use-case. You could also use custom fields, but labels are the most reliable when it comes to filtering the cards.
-
Hi @Dallas Culkeen welcome to the community :) for the moment, only the default due date field will show on the calendar. It's not possible to switch this to a different field. Like you said, it would be a feature request https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/submitting-feature-requests-for-trello
-
@Monica Dandridge custom fields would be removed I would say. There's no way to use custom fields on a free plan. You can always test to see what it would look like for the other person by copying the template into a free workspace.
-
@Nataša Bojić Milovanović so when your colleagues view the workspace views, they just see an unfiltered view with all cards displayed? The filters should be retained for everyone, so if what you see differs from what others see, that sounds like a potential bug that could be worth messaging the support team…
-
@Peter Pfann you have a step by step guide here: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/creating-collections-for-premium-workspaces/ Let me know if you get stuck!
-
Hi @Merrix Administrator try this: when an item is added to a checklist in a card with custom field "text" set to "{*}", convert the item to a linked card, and set custom field "text" to "{wildcard1}"
-
@Jennifer Geissert check out this post here. It gives instructions on how to set your default link preferences.
-
Have a look at the guide linked above: Open the Board menu and select Settings > Workspace name. Select the Workspace you would like your board to belong to from the drop-down menu. You want to go into the board you'd like to move and open the board menu.
-
@Chon Waythrough check out: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/moving-a-board-to-a-different-workspace/
-
@Osinachi Anokwute just to rule it out, but do you have any filters on the board? If not, can you try searching for one of the cards that has disappeared? https://trello.com/search If you're able to find that card, do you see anything in the activity that might explain why it has disappeared? E.g. it archived, got moved…
-
@David Freiberger it doesn't look like there's a variable for something like {lastcommenttext}. Maybe someone else has a better idea, but you could create a custom field to hold the most recent comment and create a butler rule to update this field with this information. You may also want to add the date the comment was…

@Marlene O_Meara Are you looking for a way to import data from a spreadsheet/csv into Trello? If so, here's a good one: https://trello.com/power-ups/61fa6cd2cc14647c2c9ee821/import-to-trello-by-blue-cat-csv-excel If it's not a huge amount of data, you can just copy a list of items and paste them like so: Then just open…

You're welcome! 😊

No problem at all :) there's a dropdown option that's easy to miss:
