@Nicole Turchin in that case, it would just be a matter of creating a butler command as mentioned above: when the due date is marked as complete in a card, send an email to... You would need a way to tell Trello which members need to be notified. Based on what you said, it should work dynamically depending on the card. So,…

@j_em_doubleu Are you able to share the command you've created?
-
Hi @j_em_doubleu ! When you say "I have 3 lists in a card" are you referring to checklists? Also, assuming you're using Butler reports? When I pull a report including checklists, it shows in the same order as shown in the card. Are you able to share the butler command you're using?
-
Hi @Raquel El Fakih ! It's likely you're watching these cards that you're being notified of. If you select one of the notifications to bring you to a card, can you see if you're watching that card? If you are, you should see a little eye icon on the front of the card. You automatically become a watcher of a card if you are…

Hi @Diversity Equity Inclusion ! As Brittany mentioned, if these guests have access to more than one board, they get billed the same as a workspace member. However, if you want to make these users workspace members so that they have access to the workspace and can see all boards within that workspace, you'll need to change…
-
Hi @Barbara E_ Fuller ! Welcome to the community :) Trello's paid plans are associated to the Trello workspace, so you'll need to move your boards over to the paid workspace. See here for instructions on how to do this: https://help.trello.com/article/752-changing-the-workspace-to-which-a-board-belongs Note: To move a…

Hi @JMB ! Welcome to the community :) It's not currently possible to set really granular permissions in Trello so that certain elements of cards are hidden. When you add a user to a board, that user has access to all cards on the board as well as all card details. An idea for how to manage your workflow: create a separate…

@Jenny So exciting! However, I tried turning on the feature flag but I can't see anything when going to https://trello.com/my/labs 🤔
-
Hi @Alexandr Liubceac ! I know this question has already been answered, but to give some clarity, Trello is progressively rolling out a new version of the search function. You can read more about it here: https://help.trello.com/article/1348-new-search-in-trello

@Debbie Stephenson no, I don't believe it's possible to filter on custom fields for the moment. Just labels and lists for now! Not sure if it helps, but you do have gray labels available which you could use instead of coloured labels - the gray labels won't display on the front of the cards. That way, your team can just…
-
@Jana Katsir In the above example, it's summing up all opportunities (each opportunity is a card). You could filter it further if you want to see the value from one particular client. You would just need to make sure there's a field for the client name in your cards (e.g. a custom field, or label). So the way I set it up…

Fair enough! Yes, not the most sustainable option if there are other cases of creating OR statements. Sorry I can't be of much help here!
-
Hi @Debbie Stephenson ! Welcome to the community :) to answer your first question, there are a few different ways to approach this! If the goal is to track the completion percentage of a milestone to understand how it's progressing, one idea could be to use a checklist with linked cards (dependency cards) setup with butler…
-
Hi @Philippe Gallant ! The trigger for your rules isn't based on a label being applied, but rather when a card is added to a board or list, with the condition that these cards have the "FY-22 Q3" label. Would the cards already have the label applied before it gets added to the board or list? Should the trigger be instead:…
-
Hi @Ashley Pfohl ! Welcome to the community :) yes, it is technically possible to auto-set due dates on checklist items using butler automation. Is it possible to set it up exactly how you want? Maybe! Are you able to elaborate a bit more on how you see that automation working?
-
Hi @Jana Katsir ! Welcome to the community 🙂 I'd suggest using a mix of custom fields and dashcards for this. I created this board which sums up the values of custom fields in order to see how much $ is in the pipeline. The second card sums up the "Amount" custom field displayed in all my cards. It's filtered based on the…

Hi @TATIANA VLASOVA ! Welcome to the community :) a similar question was asked a little while ago and there were a few good suggestions posted there: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Trello-questions/Count-archived-Trello-cards/qaq-p/1966861#M62476 My suggestion was to use dashcards so you can view things like so:

Hi @Lars Leiram ! Are you able to clarify a bit around what information exactly has vanished? Are you not seeing all of your boards in your Trello workspace? Or, when opening a board, you're not seeing cards within your board? If it's the former, there's a chance your boards may have been automatically closed (not deleted)…
-
Hi @Mark Sicignano ! Welcome to the community :) No, I don't believe it's possible to create an OR statement when doing a global search. It looks like Trello is working on improving the search functionality though, so if you want, you can reach out to them directly to submit a feature request. In the meantime, an…

Hi @Sai ! Does your consolidated view need to be in the board format? Trello does offer workspace views where you can see cards from many boards in a single view. You can visualize this in a tabular format, or a calendar format. If you're set on having your consolidated view as a board, there's no way to achieve this right…
-
Hi @Nicole Turchin ! Welcome to the community :) Trello's default notifications don't cover when someone marks a card as complete (assuming you're referring to checking the due date completion box in a card), but if you were to move the card to a "Complete" list, then anyone watching the card, list, or board will be…
-
Hi @Kim Noreen Anderson ! You can use butler automation to achieve this. Try something like "when a card is added to the board, sort list alphabetically" or "when a card is added to list "X",..."
-
Hi @Detlef Vuuren, van ! Welcome to the community :) Trello doesn't offer filtering on due dates that far out in advance, but you can use butler automation to add/remove a label to cards that are due within a particular window. E.g. 95 days before a card is due, add the "3 month" label. And 85 days before a card is due,…

Adding on from what milynnus mentioned, you can use custom fields to hold that information, and to make things easier and because you mentioned forms, there is a great power up called Blue Cat Forms which allows you to create cards from forms: https://trello.com/power-ups/6139de588901011c01baf52f. This is a great option if…

@Mairi Nixon the first command is the correct one (without the brackets). It should work if the "Date Diff", and both the convert fields are all number fields (well it works for me anyway). Are you able to share the full command you created? Can you see anything in the command logs? Maybe also try setting the action to…
-
@Mairi Nixon For the converted fields, you'll need to use the custom field variable {{%required by}~X} and {{%today}~X}. The last one to calculate the difference, will give the number of days, but it will be in epoch unix format. I'm not sure if there's a way to convert that to human time using butler.
-
Hi @Ansley Kaiser ! Welcome to the community :) Yes, it looks like the "due in the next day" pulls all cards due in the next 24 hours. I also had a look at the global search and there's no operator to see cards due within the day (e.g. due:8h). As an alternative, you could use a mix of labels and automation in order to…
-
Ah! Sorry, I skimmed over your question and assumed you were talking about custom fields. So if you're wanting to configure the default fields, this isn't something Trello offers for the moment. I've seen the request come up a few times here, so if you wanted to upvote it, you can talk to Trello directly here. In the…
-
Hi @Pete ! Yes, you can use the calendar workspace view. If you were to set the start and due dates of a card to set a duration, cards should display as all-day events. You mentioned the calendar power-up which is different - are you wanting to have things appear in your personal calendar (GCal or outlook calendar) as well?
-
Hi @Idaira Moreno Ramos ! Welcome to the community :) it sounds like there is some butler automation running on the board. You can check that by looking at the card activity at the bottom of your card: Any card that says something was updated "via Butler" means it was executed through butler automation. Do you remember…
