Hi @Siva TN I have never seen these controls anywhere in JIRA. I It seems to me that they are added through a browser plugin, and by going in to incognito mode your plugins are not activated, therefor not showing these controls. Regards Dave
-
Hi @Rajesh Ramankutty Out of the box, this is not possible. But you can solve this with a plugin like https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1213645/exalate-jira-issue-sync-more?hosting=server&tab=overview Regards Dave
-
Hi @Михаил Коновалов This is normal behavior, If i search for "Director" and i really need that word. I don't want see results like "Directory" poluting the search results. Regards Dave
-
Hi @Juris Bergmanis I am not 100% sure about this, but i think that JIRA only shows 15 projects (alphabetically ordered) and hides all the others because in some scenario's the list would become to long. As a system admin you are always able to see these projects in the "Permission schemes" page. Regards Dave

Hi @Shubham Mishra If you added the group confluenc-users in JIRA to all your users you should remove it again and that will solve your problem (can take some time to syncronize depending on the settings that you used) If you added the group jira-software-users to the global permissions in confluence you will need to…

Hi @Shubham Mishra How are your users added to Confluence? Did you use the JIRA user directory for that or did you add them in the internal confluence directory? Regards, Dave
-
Hi @Osamuyi Imade You have 2 options, 1: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-create-issues-in-multiple-projects-using-one-mail-server-in-jira-core-779160675.html 2: Use a different email address per project. Regards Dave

Hi @Nathan Pledger If you want to be able to create a page tree with predefined templates i would suggest to have a look at this plugin https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1214324/space-tree-creator-copy-space?hosting=server&tab=overview Regards Dave
-
Hi @Fabiano.Mornatta You could use the issue level security for this. Add the users that should be allowed to see it in a specific group. After you set up the different security levels, you can automatically add a security level with the plugin Automation for JIRA when an issue is created that should be viewable to the…

Hi @TSY_J As we have Script Runner plugin in our instance, so i prefer to use scriptrunner. If you already have scriptrunner, it would not make sense using another paid plugin. Unfortunately, JMWE doesn't meet what i need, as i want to create the sub tasks based on the number of the members in a group. Just for future…

Hi @Ethan Chia Atlassian does not offer discounts if you buy multiple products. Try obtaining your licenses through a partner, sometimes they can give you a discount. https://partnerdirectory.atlassian.com/ Regards Dave
-
Hi @Shirley Hamlyn Create a support request at atlassian https://support.atlassian.com/contact They wil be ale to help you with this. Regards Dave
-
Hi @Maria navarro Here are the instructions to configure the mail handler https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver071/creating-issues-and-comments-from-email-802592933.html Regards Dave
-
Hi @TSY_J You should be able to solve this with the post function "Create / Clone issue(s) (JMWE add-on)" from the JMWE plugin Another good candidate to solve this is scriptrunner Regards Dave
-
Hi, The functionality that you are describing does not exist but here is a good workaround. I suggest that you follow https://atlassianreleasenotes.tumblr.com/ with a rss reader (good email software has this built in) for the atlassian tools. For the apps you are able to watch them in the marketplace so that you are…

Hi @Suresh Choudhari Those fields are installed automatically when they are required, you can not add them manually. Regards Dave
-
Hi @Suresh Choudhari The locked fields are standard fields that atlassian adds to your instance. The locked fields from the screenshot are JIRA Service Desk fields. They are locked to avoid that an admin edits them, what could break the functionality. Regards Dave
-
Hi @Deniz Acar It is not possible to use 2 keys for 1 project. Regards Dave
-
Hi @Marcin If you are still using JIRA 7.X it is not possible. As of JIRA 8 the functionality has changed so that all changes are grouped in 1 mail (10 minute window) https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftware/jira-software-8-0-x-release-notes-957981626.html#JiraSoftware8.0.xreleasenotes-emails Regards Dave

Hi @Mark Oren I don't know if it is good idea to assign it automatically, because what will happen if someone is sick/on vacation? I prefer working with dashboards to accommodate such things. But if you really want to do it, you can add a postfunction (Update issue field) in your workflow for bugs, support, and task that…

Hi @Tarun Sapra I could be wrong here. But you would just create a new field this way and you do not modify the issuekey itself. So it's a workaround. But it is a nice solution and will probably be the "next best thing" if someone would need something like a custom issue key. Regards Dave
-
Hi @PWS Dev All issue id's are formatted with the key of the project followed by the next available number like XYZ-1. Adding something like a component name to the issue key is therefor not possible. Regards Dave
-
Hi @Marielle Gomez In your project, set up components per request type with a component lead, and select assign to component lead. Add a hidden component to the form in each request type. That should do the trick Regards Dave
-
Hi @[deleted] It seems odd that you want to protect a project or issue with a password. JIRA is protected with usernames and passwords. If you setup your project correctly with permission schemes, and restrictions, followed by adding the correct people to the correct user roles, You should be able to restrict the access to…
-
Hi @Jonas_Schneider In the past i did something similar for my previous employer. We solved it by creating an issue in JIRA and with the plugin "Automation for JIRA" creating multiple subtasks and adding a component to the subtasks depending on the team that had to work on that subtask. We then created a dashboard per team…

Hi @Helen Ahlberg Are you talking about attachments or are you talking about a page? What version of confluence are you using? Regards Dave
-
Hi @[deleted] As an admin, go to the adminscreen "system", and under "System Support" you will see "Audit Log". Use the filter at the top to select the user. This should provide you with all the answers that you need. Regards Dave
-
You can also use the (paid) plugin "Automation for JIRA" The plugin will allow you to use other values for time and is completely customizable.
-
Hi @Matúš Klaudíny You are able to create an automation rule. Add a trigger "SLA time remaining" Set event to "Due soon (60 min remaining)" , "At risk (30 min remaining)", or "Breached" Add an action "Transition issue" Select the desired transition. Regards Dave

Hi @droch Did you copy/paste the entire license key without modifying it? Is there anything in the log file? Did you buy the correct license for the correct plugin? What is the license type, and does it match with the license of confluence? (amount of users) Did you contact the developer of the plugin? (Maybe there is a…
