Hi @Lee Irwin Even when you are running a server (or datacenter) instance something can go horribly wrong that could result in a big downtime. Cloud is not different in that. However this results in a lot more people impacted. It is never funny when this happens to you but inevitably that at a certain point in time it will…

Hi @Amanda_Thomas Atlassian is working hard on restoring all the impacted sites. you can check the Atlassian Status page for the status of their products. We, as the community, are unable to give you a timeframe when your site will be restored. You can contact Atlassian directly via https://support.atlassian.com/contact if…

@Lee Irwin Thank you for this useless although very very funny comment, i needed a good laugh. You made my day my friend Regards Dave

Hi @y_fedoran Things can happen, and this can happen to any company. Knowing Atlassian, they are working hard on restoring the services. If you are one of the impacted customers and have a premium or enterprise license i would advice to read this https://www.atlassian.com/legal/sla Regards Dave

Hi @v.klimenko Atlassian is exeriancing some issues since yesterday where some customers are impacted. They are aware of it and are working to get it solved as quickly as possible. you can check the Atlassian Status page for the status of their products. Unfortunately we (the community) cannot give you a timeframe when…

Hi @Amitava Mallick Ok, it's not as simple as i expected. Maybe a stupid question but i'm going to ask it anyway, have you set properties on the statusses that could prohibit Automation to perform this transition? Can you share a screenshot of the last step in the automation rule? And also a screenshot of the workflow? I…
-
Hi @Amitava Mallick It seems it is failing in the transition itself. Can you transition the issue from the current status to done if you do it manually? Do you have any validators and/or conditions set on this transition? Regards Dave
-
Hi @Amitava Mallick The branch should be "for Epic (parent)" Regards Dave

Hi @Ralf Thmas you need to set up a reverse poxy (with apache, nginx, ...) on your server Instructions for apache can be found here https://confluence.atlassian.com/kb/proxying-atlassian-server-applications-with-apache-http-server-mod_proxy_http-806032611.html Regards Dave
-
Hi @Amitava Mallick You should be able to do this with automation rules. * Create a rule that triggers when a task is done. * add a new condition - issue fields condition * set field to "issue type" * set condition to "equals" * select the different issuetypes that are allowed to set the epic to done. * add a new branch -…

If you want to migrate to datacenter with Jira software it is at least 500 users. The list price would be 42000$ for 500 users each year With cloud you can have 100 users and the price would be 7500$ for standard and 14500 for premium each year. (2 months free) In cloud however you can pay per user per month and the price…

Whether you agree or not, Atlassian is not selling the server licenses anymore. And as i said, you can only migrate to Datacenter license or Cloud. Atlassian Server end of life information This means that upgrading and adding servicedesk is not possible with a server license.

Hi @Jayaram Radhakrishnan You currently have server and it is expired since 2017? I'm afraid that i have to tell you that Atlassian stopped with the server offering. Only existing customers can extend their license until februari 2024. If your license is expired since 2017 i'm not sure you will be able to extend it.…

Hi @Mkurama How to stop and start Jira is documented here Regards Dave
-
Hi @Mkurama This could be due to corrupt plugin cache. Try the following * Stop the JIRA instance * Make a back up of* JIRA_HOME/plugins/.bundled-plugins * JIRA_HOME/plugins/.osgi-plugins * Delete* JIRA_HOME/plugins/.bundled-plugins * JIRA_HOME/plugins/.osgi-plugins * Restart JIRA Regards Dave
-
Hi @haarika_cont First of all, this will only work with premium and enterprise version as you need global and multi project automation rules. Could you explain a bit more on what you are trying to do exactly? When, what, ... Regards Dave

Hi @Ben America You need to connect with a personal access token. More info on how to set it up: https://aserve.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/POWERBI/pages/696713277/User+Guide#How-to-export-data-using-Jira-Personal-Access-Token%3F Regards Dave

Hi @Rajesh_Ramankutty As you know the reports in Jira are not that extensive as we would like. Now, you have all kinds of plugins like eazybi and there are multiple powerbi connector plugins. But seen as Jira has a rest api that can provide you with everything that you need you could use powerbi and talk to Jira directly…

Hi @Yash Pradhan So if issues get duplicated when people perform specifiic actions i would think that someone created an automation rule that is triggered on these actions and then duplicates the issue. So look at the automations that are running to find the culprit. Regards Dave
-
Hi @Nicolas Mourier The time it will take to migrate depends on the amount of issues you have in that project. However, 2583 issues in total will go pretty fast. It's been a while since i did a migration so i'm not sure, but i think it will probably take between 30 and 60 minutes to migrate everything Regards Dave
-
Hi @Srinivasan S.L. On the amount of issues there are no limitations for as far as i know if you are an admin. If you are not an admin, i believe there is a limit of 250 issues at a time. However 900k issues is a lot, do you really need them all? It will take a lot of time to import and index them so i would split it up in…
-
Hi @Sirish Patel Out of the box this is not possible, you could hack something together with automation rules, however i presume it will cause a lot of headaches over time. ;) The easiest way, but it will cost money, is to do it with a plugin like Version Sync for Jira. Regards Dave
-
Hi @[deleted] Access can be used to provide access to multiple tools * Jira (work, software, JSM) * Confluence * Bitbucket * Trello * Statuspage If you want to solve that with a plugin, you will need to buy a plugin for all the tools you are using. The most important reason in my opinion to use access instead of a plugin…

@Ouioui Zhou Unfortunatelly, it is not possible to hide them in the form. Regards Dave

Hi @Ouioui Zhou I have to agree with @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- that it probably is not the best idea However if you want to implement it, you have to build your own validator as already said. I presume you will need to enter something like following as a script in that Validator user.groups.flatMap(it =>…

Hi @Manfred Hölscher The free version with maximum 3 users (and unlimited portal users) is free forever. It is not a trial but a version with a little bit less functionality. For the other versions (standard, premium, and enterprise) you can have trial for 30 days. Regards Dave
-
Hi @joachim.funsch I think your best and most easy option would be to create the issue without the comment. Add a new action: Re-Fetch issue Add a third action and add the comment. Regards Dave
-
Hi @Ouioui Zhou Out of the box this is not possible so you will have to use a plugin like JMWE and add a validator to your workflow for those specific issue types that checks if the user is in the correct group. Regards Dave
