Hi @Praveen Kumar Singh Balendra See this page Regards Dave

Hi @Padmasree P First make sure you have a valid license. Shut down confluence. create a backup (also from database) Then just use the installer. it will ask you a few questions. (make sure you select upgrade.) If files where altered/added the installer will tell you. copy those files and afterwards proceed with the…

Hi @Marat Normally it should not be a problem. You can check this page to see if everything is compatible. But if you can upgrade confluence. Do yourself a favor and upgrade it too because there are a lot of improvements. Regards Dave
-
Hi, You need to give more context. What did you do exactly? How did you do it? With what did you do it? Do you see where i am getting at? All the information that you have, we need it, to be able to help you troubleshoot. "It is throwing unauthorized error" is not enough in this case. Regards Dave

Hi, If the script is no good then you will either have to make a few modifications or use the first method with automation for jira I'm not really good at scripting either, so i can not really assist you on that. Regards Dave
-
Hi, There is a free version called automation for jira lite And if you scroll to the bottom of the previous page you can find a script for scriptrunner that does the same thing Regards Dave
-
Hi @Elif Alverson You can find an answer in this post Regards Dave
-
Hi @Mamta Verma Scriptrunner could be an option but his will be a little more complex because you will have to write a groovy script. Depending on the stuff that you want to do it is possible there are other plugins available but those 2 are the only ones i use because they are the best plugins you will ever find. Both can…
-
Hi @Mamta Verma Yes you can. You can do it with Automation for jira Regards Dave
-
Hi @Ramesh Kanakarajan A trial account is a fully working version. So everything you can do with a normal licence should work in a trial licence to. Regards Dave
-
Hi, I understand that this field is a select list. Correct? You can add multiple configurations for 1 field depending on project/issuetype In your administration go to "Custom fields" find the field that you need and click the cog icon followed by "configure" Here you can add new contexts Regards Dave
-
Hi @AccessHolding You can not change it. But your question raises another question. If you have multiple cost centers, do you really create a new field for every project/issuetype? Every extra field that you use puts extra strain on your server and soon you would need more resources to keep it running. Best practice is:…

Hi, I am not a RHEL specialist but i don't see why not. Atlassian performs all testing on Centos. A quick google search on centos vs RHEL tells me CentOS is a community-developed and supported alternative to RHEL. It is similar to Red Hat EnterpriseLinux but lacks the enterprise-level support. CentOS is more or less a free…

Hi @Padmasree P See https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/starting-jira-automatically-on-linux-828796713.html For more information on running JIRA as a service on linux. Regards Dave

Hi @Pavani Maligi Is this what you mean? https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Escalation-Matrix/qaq-p/592111 Regards Dave
-
Then you will need to dig into your log files on both jira and mail server to see if you can find out why you are receiving this message.
-
Hi @Ross Lawrence Normally it should be there. However, if 1 of the issues that you have selected does not allow that type of edit. Then it will not be possible. So try to refine your selection to a smaller subset of issues and try again. Regards Dave
-
Try checking your username and password!

After the transition trigger you can add a new condition. Use the JQL condition and write a JQL that selects what you need. You can make it as easy or complex as you need. For example to select 2 issuetypes. issuetype in (Bug, Epic) After the condition you can add the action end you use "edit issue" Select the field you…

-
Glad i could help, And thanks for accepting my answer
-
Hi @Evgeniya Morozova If you use jira as user directory it is normal that they sync to confluence even without access to it. Just do not give the groups that you use for confluence access to the people that don't need it and it will be fine. Regards Dave
-
Hi @Prashant Mali Out of the box this does not work. And in the past there was a plugin that was able to do this but i am unable to find it now. You can create a user macro to add the name and date to the page. You would need to add following 2 lines in the usermacro $content.getCreator().getFullName()…
