Hi, As a global admin go to https://YourOwnConfluenceUrl/admin/permissions/viewdefaultspacepermissions.action Search for the space and you should be able to change the permissions.
-
Hi@[deleted] You can go to https://yourJIRAurl/secure/project/ViewProjectRoles.jspa And make your modifications there. Regards Dave
-
Hi Jason, You can't edit that page. But you can change the default home page to a space and you can edit that page. https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/configuring-the-site-home-page-138140.html Regards Dave

I just noticed there is a better solution. in the automation rule you can use "issue transitioned" as a trigger.
-
You don't have to use post functions, in the project administration you have a new menu item called "Automation" Create a new rule and let it trigger on an event. use the event that is triggered by your workflow. (you can use a custom event for this) Then you can perform the action that you need. You can find all the…

Hi @Yogesh Mude Sorry, i missed that. They have a Cloud version to Regards Dave
-
Hi, You could use Automation for JIRA to do this instead of scripting it. Regards Dave
-
Hi Steve, On both questions: No! Confluence does not offer this functionality. Nor are there plugins available that can do this. Regards Dave
-
Hi Scott, As far as i know it should work perfectly. (i did this before) But i would like to suggest that you try it in an acceptance environment with an exact copy first to avoid any problems. Regards Dave
-
Hi Mark, I'm glad that you where able to solve it. Best of luck with your upgrade. Don't forget to create a backup first PS: For future reference, also make a backup before upgrading your plugins Regards Dave
-
Hi Markus. You can do this automatically with automation for jira https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1215670/automation-lite-for-jira-cloud?hosting=cloud&tab=overview The link is for the free version. There is also a paid version with more functionality.…

Hi Dave Out of the box it is not possible. But you could do it with a plugin https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1213685/secure-admin?hosting=server&tab=overview But i think you will need to upgrade your JIRA first to a minimum version of 6.0 PS: i never tried this plugin before. But it seems interesting Regards The…

This is not really helpful as it only states that it failed to load/timed out but it does not give any insights into the real reason unfortunately. Can you check what java version you are using on the server? And i presume the server is powerful enough to handle the JIRA environment? Did you make a backup before making the…
-
As any field, or custom field you can do whatever you want. It should always work.
-
So, no support anymore? You do know that you need a valid and active license to upgrade right? You can post the log, maybe we can see something in that file.
-
In that case i am all out of answers for the moment. :-( I tested it in our own environment and it worked perfectly. I hope someone else can help you out or maybe you could log an issue with Atlassian because for as far as i know it should work like this.
-
For the moment i am a little puzzled. :-S Have you already created a support ticket with Atlassian? Maybe they have some ideas that i did not think off yet. Did you find an atlassian-jira.log or a catalina.out in your log file dirs?
-
So, you already created issues. Right? in the settings you use a jql to search for issues to edit. "Request Type" = "Travel Request (QI)" AND Subsidiary = "QUOINE CORPORATION" If you enter this jql when you search for issues. do you get any results?
-
Hi, With the settings seems nothing wrong. So i am going back to my first questions * Can those users be assigned to that issue? * Does the user that is performing the automation task has privileges to assign issues? And * If you do a search on the jql that is used in the configuration. Do you get any results?
-
If i where you, i would not perform the upgrade until i solved this issue because if something happens during the upgrade you might end up with 2 issues. And that would make it harder to troubleshoot. And besides that it is likely that an upgrade would not solve the current issue.
-
Hi, Can those users be assigned to that issue? Does the user that is performing the automation task has privileges to assign issues? If this is not the answer, please define what is not working? Also please post a screenshot of configuration. Regards Dave
-
Hi Mark, If you did not make any modifications where the logs are stored and did not alter the install and home directory you should be able to find different log files in following 2 locations /var/atlassian/application-data/jira/log /opt/atlassian/jira/logs Regards Dave
-
exactly, as long as the correct java version and a supported database is used, it should work.
-
Hi, This should answer your question Regards Dave
-
Hi Mark, If that does not work, can you please check the log files? you can also check this to unlock. Regards
-
Hi Eric, it is called "Space settings" and you can find it at the top left Regards, Dave
-
Hi Mark, You could try starting in safe mode if you think it is caused by one of the plugins. *edit* Is there an antivirus running on the server? According to Atlassian: JIRA applications and anti-virus software are known to be mortal enemies - It's hard to have both of them at the same place at the same time. During…
-
Hi, You can simply deactivate a user and it will not count towards the license tier anymore. (never remove the user) And if you deactivate it will keep all the information so you will not loose any information. For bulk move you can find the information here Regards Dave
-
Hi, The plugin is renamed and is called "Atlassian Troubleshooting and Support Tools" Regards Dave
-
Hi, First of all, normally you do not give the account to a new person and change the details because you lose track of what the first and the second user did. Probably this is even a violation with some laws to. :-( What do you do? * Disable the account of the person who is leaving. * Create a new account for the new…
