Hi @fattaneh t, Jira provides a custom field of type checkbox: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/custom-fields-types-in-classic-projects-972327807.html It should work well if your list is static. However, for more dynamic lists, there are plugins (including free ones) available in Atlassian Marketplace that…

@Abhinaya Sinha, That's excellent news! I've just tested it in the Issue Checklist Pro, and it works well. However, these permissions are not as flexible as those in the Classic projects. For example, you cannot grant permission to assignee or reporter. Nevertheless, that is a significant improvement in Jira Next-Gen.…

Here is the link that shows the most popular checklist solutions ready to handle the definition of done and acceptance criteria: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?query=checklist

Hi @Steve, I don't think it is possible to get it directly in Jira. There are many apps in the Marketplace that solve this problem, though. You can try the Clockwork Automated Timesheets Free (created by my team), to get the report quickly. In case of any questions, we are happy to answer them all. Cheers, Jack
-
Hi @ColinB, We should be able to answer that question in 2-3 months. Cheers, Jack
-
@Vineeth Kandamparambath , It all depends on which checklist solution you use. If you can share it here, then we can advise better. Cheers, Jack

Got it. So, every app that logs time to Jira worklog will give you that (including Clockwork). The panel from your screenshot is rendered by Jira so it will be updated correctly if time is stored in Jira. You simply need to avoid apps storing time elsewhere. Cheers, Jack

Thanks Bill, I think I get it now. Basically, each board column (except planned and done) should have a set of DoD (Exit policy) items that must be met in order to move the ticket to the next column. Since Jira Cloud API is limited it might be difficult for the third-party app do implement it exactly this way. However, we…

Hi @Alistair Colwell * What do you mean by "updates the time tracking progress bars for tasks/stories"? * If #1 is about logging time directly to Jira, then what else would you expect from the app? From our side, we can propose Clockwork apps (free and pro) that boost the time tracking capabilities of Jira with flexible…

How would you like to see the Definition of Done or Exit Polices on the Kanban board? Should they be defined per project or issue type? I wonder if the Issue Checklist plugins could help here and if not, how we could change to satisfy the requirement. Thanks, Jack
-
Hello @Mia , You can achieve this use case with Issue Checklist Pro or its free sibling Issue Checklist Free which is the most popular acceptance criteria plugin in Atlassian Marketplace. Blocking the 'close story' operation if Acceptance Criteria is not completed is described in the docs. In case of any questions, we are…

Since there is a third-party app mentioned (Tempo), I would like to add that both Issue Checklist Pro and Issue Checklist Free apps also offer integration with Jira Automation. Here is a documentation link.
-
@Frank Gene McPeek, you can find this feature in Issue Checklist Pro and Issue Checklist Free. Here are the docs explaining how to use it: https://herocoders.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IC/pages/771620876/User+mentions I hope it helps. Cheers, Jack

For a decent time tracking, you might take a look at Clockwork apps for Jira Cloud. They allow to automate time tracking and provide useful timesheet for reporting capabilities. There are also plenty of other time tracking tools in Marketplace so you will probably find something useful. I hope it helps. Cheers, Jack

Hello @[deleted] , What you are asking for, is offered by Clockwork Free and Clockwork Pro apps. They allow enabling automatic time tracking so timer starts when issue/ticket is moved to In Progress status. Next, when the ticket is moved to Done, the timer value is logged/saved to Jira worklog. Clockwork apps also give you…
-
Hi @Britneyw , It should be doable with PowerScripts or ScriptRunner apps. However, you might also consider an automated time tracking from the following apps: * Clockwork Free * Clockwork Pro The automated mode counts only 8h (or other configured time) for a day when the ticket is left "In Progress" overnight. Cheers, Jack
-
Hi, You can take a look at Start/Stop buttons or automated tracking in Clockwork apps: * Clockwork Free * Clockwork Pro Let me know if that helps. Cheers, Jack
-
Hi @[deleted], I can propose Issue Checklist Free which is the most popular checklist for Jira Cloud (and free of charge). It is simple to start but also full of useful features if you need them, like: * user mention * block resolving of issues if a checklist is not complete * checklist templates * and many more. In case…

As pointed in the previous answer, if you don't use any third-party plugin yet, you might search for any issues containing a worklog reported. For the issues found, you might check worklog tabs and list particular users who did report time. However, I would consider a time tracking app that either allows using standard…

It is hard to say which time tracking app you are referring too. For calculating time automatically and timesheet feature, you might try Clockwork. Cheers, Jack
-
UPDATE: For manual interaction, we now advise using the Checklist Text custom field.
-
Sorry, I just noticed the question is for Server while the Issue Checklist is Cloud only.
-
Hi @Christopher Atkins , Please take a look at the Issue Checklist copy-paste documentation. Is this something that you are looking for?
-
BTW. There is also a free version available now: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1220209/issue-checklist-free?hosting=cloud&tab=overview
-
Their documentation says it is not possible. However, you can access your checklist in mobile for both Issue Checklist Free and Issue Checklist Pro from my team: https://herocoders.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IC/pages/1223819277/Mobile+app

So, please check your payment details. Jira (I guess) won't allow you to add a paid app if the payment method is not defined or not valid. If it doesn't help, go directly to Atlassian support. They will help.
-
* Have you tried to install any free app? Does it work? * Did you restore Jira from a backup recently?
-
@John Coria, believe me, it is not a simple feature but a comprehensive app within a Jira with tens of features. If you are still with Atlassian, you might want to try the free version though: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1220209/issue-checklist-free
-
Hi @ray.b If you don't want to pay, you can try Issue Checklist Free which is a free sibling of Issue Checklist Pro 🏆 . Cheers, Jack
