@Sam Nadarajan, thank you for mentioning Issue Checklist Pro. @Bogdan, you can start with Issue Checklist Free and upgrade to Pro only when you need it. You will get something like below in your Jira issue: You can create templates and load them to issue with just a few clicks.

Hi @Eli Fares, From your screenshot, I can see that you use Issue Checklist Pro for Jira. In this case, if you cannot add new checklist items, one of the following is a culprit: * you cannot edit Jira issue (please make sure you can edit the issue) * advanced permissions were enabled so you must be granted checklist…

Hello @Kiran Somarajan, Everything you mentioned, can be done with both Issue Checklist Free and Issue Checklist Pro. Here are some useful resources that explain how to achieve what you need: * Define checklist template * Add checklist automatically to new issues * and other features In case of any questions or doubts,…

Hello @Naveed Ahmed, You mention Buttler which suggests that you work with Trello. However, given the fact that your question is labeled with a `jira-service-desk-cloud` tag, and our competitors advertised their solution, I would like to mention our app too. You can use Issue Checklist Free or Issue Checklist Pro to block…
-
@Chimwemwe Manda, that is only possible with Marketplace apps. Issue Checklist for Jira Cloud, offers for example: * Close story if all items are complete * Block transition of the story if checklist is not complete
-
Hello @Aleksandra, You can achieve this with Issue Checklist Free (the most popular checklist app on Marketplace) or its paid sibling Issue Checklist Pro. They both allow setting checklist template as default for selected project (and issue type). As a result, all newly created issues get the checklist automatically. You…

Hello Lilian, While our app Issue Checklist does not support direct integration with labels yet, it should be possible to use Jira Automation to do the job. We have docs describing similar cases, e.g.: Add checklist when custom field gets particular value (issue create) Here is an example how to build Automation rule…

"should be" in your opinion means "does not have to be" in Atlassian's opinion 🤷
-
Yes, you can hide the field from the issue screen in Jira screen configuration for entire project. Here is some clue: https://herocoders.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IC/pages/1215266832/Hide+custom+field+from+Issue+View+page
-
You can hide the Checklist Text from the view. It does not have to be visible.
-
HI @Bára Hlynsdóttir, It is very straightforward with the Issue Checklist Pro. Please take a look at the following docs: https://herocoders.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IC/pages/1222967297/Replace+checklist+items+on+issue+transition Please also remember to enable custom fields sync:…

Hello @Sven Pardijs, When did it start? Does refreshing the issue page solve the problem? If not, could you please contact our support through the service desk at the below URL? https://herocoders.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/1 Thanks, Jack
-
Was that Cloud or maybe you've seen it on the Server/DC instance in the past? Anyway, you might want to look onto the Marketplace for "Definition of Ready": https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?hosting=cloud&query=definition%20of%20ready Cheers, Jack

Hello @Anatoly Ovsyannikov, When it comes to the regexp, we use the following in Issue Checklist Pro for user IDs (please note that it supports an older way of mentioning too, so you could probably simplify it): /(^|\s+)@([a-zA-Z0-9\u0400-\u044f_.+:-]+)/g As for the "(data was not an array (customfield_10049))", I think it…

Hi @Raffael, I think you missed the following toggle: https://herocoders.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IC/pages/907542582/Enable+disable+custom+fields+integration Let us know if that helps. Cheers, Jack
-
Alright. In that case you need to remove new lines from the input and transform it into * test * test1 * test2 and only then save the checklist item. Alternatively, you can use Editor and add additional lines as description: * test >> test1 >> test2 Overall, checklist item is one line text string. It can contain multiple…
-
Alright, it looks like Issue Checklist Free by HeroCoders. What exact problem do you have? When you copy&paste content, each lines becomes a separate checklist item. If you want all content create one checklist item, then please remove new lines from the input. Looking forward to hearing from you.
-
Hello @Steven Treur, Please post a screenshot of the problem as checklist is not a part of Jira by default. Cheers, Jack
-
To extend, Issue Checklist Free allows for integration with third-party apps (including Better PDF Exporter), e.g: https://herocoders.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IC/pages/1323991047/Better+PDF+Exporter+plugin

Yes, please raise a support request at https://herocoders.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/1

@Mohajit Acharya, Both checklist requirement from your list can be achieved with Issue Checklist Free from HeroCoders that you mentioned. While creating a particular issue type I want to add a checklist embedded to the issue (not as an attachment). (Does "Issue Checklist for Jira" by HeroCoders address this requirement?)…
-
Hello @Ben van den Berg, It might be impossible to achieve what you need in Jira only. However, if you decide to use marketplace apps, Issue Checklist Free allows for blocking transition if checklist is not complete. Here is the doc explaining the process:…
-
Hello @janine.perucello, Could you post a screenshot what do you mean by a checklist? Jira does not have checklist out of the box so, to answer your question, we need to see what you use and what you want to clone. Cheers, Jack
-
hovewer I am not sure if you can set up a checklist in there. You can do it when using Issue Checklist plugin: https://herocoders.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IC/pages/1071743015/Schedule+creating+issues+with+checklist You can even try to create recurring e-mail massage, and send it to Jira. If you have e-mail handler set up…

Hello @Xiaowei Tsui, Checklist Progress % field might be empty if checklist does not exist for the issue. In all other cases, it should automatically reflect the completeness %. No configuration is required to make it work. If it doesn't work, please contact us through the Service Desk and we will assist. Cheers, Jack
-
Alright, it is unexpected then. Please reach out to our support team at https://herocoders.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/1/group/1/create/1 Please link this conversation, so they don't ask the same questions again. Thanks, Jack

Yes. With both these toggles disabled, as well as enabled "Enable checklist in this project" (on your previous screenshot), you should see the checklist. Does it work now?
-
Hi, You need to disable toggles on the Permission page. None of your screenshots shows it. That should solve the problem. Cheers, Jack
-
> Both of the things are enabled Exactly. Please try to disable custom permissions: https://herocoders.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IC/pages/688554010/Permissions+settings That should help.
-
Hi @Sven Pardijs, If you work with Issue Checklist Pro, then it might be caused by two things: * The checklist is disabled for a given project. Read how to enable it. * You have custom permission enabled and don't have View Checklist permission. Let us know if that helps. You can also reach our support for a more private…
