@Anwesha Pan you're welcome! let me know if you have any trello questions!
-
@Darryl Lee hahah exactly! love this though, very cool @Jeremiah !
-
@RGDesign have you checked out the Trello Planner? that's the Trello framework now for timeblocking: https://youtu.be/w_vhfdHNc48
-
I'm so bummed I don't have this yet!! Been dying to try it out!!
-
Yeah i don't know of any but you can bookmark the links to those views, so that can be an easier way to toggle between them? Also, you could potentially use something like PixieBrix (chrome extension for automation) that watches key presses on trello.com and then navigates to those views.

Whoa this is next level hahah love it

My partner and i have something similar on Trello!! We call it out family weekly planning sync, and it's a similar thing where we communicate those types of things that often get missed. It's not just logistics, but also making sure we compliment each other on something, ask for what we need, and set expectations and goals…

Hey @tamara just saw your email today and I'm passing you back to Mike!! He's also not really supposed to advertise here but he's another great Trello enthusiast!! Ive sent an email connecting you both, and we can chat more over there!
-
@Jeremy Drey and @Matt B i think you'll need to report that as a bug since it looks like thats what it was last time it happened.

@Magnet Formula - Area Web 1 is the card a mirror card that was archived, or something you don't have access to? I'm wondering if what's happening is you're previewing a card in the board, but when you click on it, it realizes you don't have access to it. Are you using any power-ups? I'm also clicking the button to request…

Thanks for the shoutout!

Believe it not we actually talked about Jira some too 😂 Overall it was a great session with lots of learning and questions and I always love a good chance to show off my trello boards!
-
@Tom Jedrzejewicz i think that's probably because they're technically a different type of card, so its not really holding that information in the board exactly- it's just a smart link to reference the card in another board. They got it working with filters and sorting, and they made some improvements with automation, but…

This is correct - click the icons in the floating panel at the bottom to hide those panels. Or you can press g+i (toggles inbox) or g+p (toggles planner)

@Mike - Dreamsuite Consulting havent you heard the rumors??? i do run Trello 😂 And i totally know what you mean- i like to say i don't enjoy running, i enjoy being done with a run haha. And im not very social with it either 😂 even if i am running at a conversational pace, i don't want to have a conversation. And i treat…
-
@Amanda Barber i appreciate the encouragement!! it is funny how quick you forget the suck 😂
-
@Dave LIAO hahah i dunno, running 10k felt like a lot, im not sure how to double that 😂
-
I run some! Have started in the last year, mostly just because its a low cost way to be active no matter where I am haha (doesn't require a gym unless you live in Baton Rouge in the summer... which i do lol so that's rough haha) It's also been fun to tie it to milestones like doing a 5k and a 10k (currently training for a…

You should see an "Add a list" action to the right of any existing lists. Just click that field and type a name for the list, then press enter.
-
Aww I am honored! And right back at ya - I'm not taking new clients at the moment unfortunately (lots of folks want Trello consulting!) but that list has a great list of folks on there, include Mike! I do however have a free newsletter with all sorts of Trello resources, and a YouTube channel with lots of content that…

So excited to see these in views and filters, and the automation is going to make it so much easier to coordinate them!! Thanks for all the work on this!
-
@Gabriel Lozano yeah i imagine they will hopefully soon make the inbox a specific place you can target via api/automations because i agree its hard when you have other automations that you want to capture stuff with, and i do believe they want to prioritize the ecosystem (other developers) being able to access the inbox to…
-
@Monique vdB unfortunately i don't think there's really a great way to do it. i feel like i saw another question like this recently and i tried to get kinda close to it, but there's not really a way to do it with trello automation because there's not really a way to filter between checked and unchecked tasks. (Yet another…
-
@Gabriel Lozano i think you dont need to make an apple shortcut, you can just say "hey siri, remind me in trello to...." and whatever you say it will add to your inbox.
-
@cbrechlin yay! im so glad to hear that!! if you don't mind, please accept this answer so if folks have the same question they can see there's a helpful solution in here! Also, i have a weekly trello newsletter where i share how to do stuff in trello and answer questions like this regularly if you'd be interesting in…
-
@cbrechlin hmm, i can't think of a great way to remove people, but you could do a similar thing with the trigger for when a card is moved to a list that adds the person moving it to the card. Just type {*} as the list name and it will work for "any" list. EDIT - just thought of this, you could use the "remove all members…
-
@Scott Yeah that helps me see what you're doing - thanks for the screenshot! I think i might have confused you by trying to conflate looking up a new card and appending text from the original description. To actually lookup a new card and get find that description you want to add, you need to go to Cascade and use an…
-
@cbrechlin you shouldnt using parenthesis - should be curly brackets ,like this { } Can you share a screenshot of what you have?
-
@cbrechlin make sure to click the blue plus button at the end of the row. Here's a loom showing how to set up the rule: https://www.loom.com/share/2e86b8c9aed3483d832629913ebf14f9
