@Josh Bernstein you can't do it with Butler because the rules you create don't have access to the "plugin data" of other power ups. If the data are indeed stored in the pluginData property of the card then we can grab it using the API by writing a relatively simple command for you using our automation platform:…

@Leila Kim are you in a web browser or on a mobile app?
-
@peter you can't change visibility of the cards but yes you can automate moving them to another board once added
-
@Paulette Kydd the best way to do it is to have a workspace, then add your clients as members, then create the boards with permissions so that workspace members can view, comment and vote but not self-join. That way people can see the attachments and comment, but can't make any changes.

@Pavel my first thought was to set the due date to yesterday then move it to the next tuesday, however "the next tuesday" in that command always offsets versus the current time rather than the due date on the card which seems like a bug to me :( This BenkoBot function would do it though:…

@mike there's the Advanced Checklists feature that comes with Business Class: https://help.trello.com/article/942-how-to-use-advanced-checklists-to-set-due-dates-and-add-members-to-checklist-items
-
@Julie Parham you might like this article I wrote on task prioritisation in Trello: https://benkoworks.com/shortlist-your-tasks/ when you need a separate board just paste the link to that board into a card title on your main board, that way your main board is your “my tasks” list, the bulk of your tasks are on that board…
-
@Julie Parham what's your motivation for adding yourself to every card?
-
@Frank van Brandenburg you could also use the act of moving lists to trigger adding the required labels ...
-
@KOHESION you want to add the *same* image to different cards?
-
3am here! I'll be there in spirit
-
@Kelly Cuddy try sliding the checklist item to the left
-
@Bri no but you can copy the board so you have a template to fix it from, and you can also use the Rewind powerup to create point in time backups
-
@Matthew Norman yeah BenkoBot is just a cloud runner for Trellinator, a library I wrote to provide a "butler-like" JavaScript wrapper for the Trello API: http://docs.trellinator.com There are more examples of how to use it here: https://trello.com/b/IoHmhz5c/benkobot-community-board and tonnes of examples in my gist…
-
@Anita Handy so you want to be added to all cards on all boards where you're a member, and you want to be added as a card on any cards that are created in future on any board where you're a member? That's a lot of cards ...
-
@Guilherme Barbosa the new team table or timeline views might be a good fit: https://trello.com/en-AU/views
-
@Joe Bessacini can you send a screenshot that shows where you're seeing that?
-
@Daniele gold applies at the user level, so you just need to cancel your gold subscription in the user account on which you wish to remove it.
-
@Daniele you should be able to contact support through trello.com/contact just choose "ask trello support" rather than asking in the community.
-
@Matthew Norman yep this function would do it: https://gist.github.com/iaindooley/55bba6c3b0177462399949d96d9b43dc You can run that as an adhoc in the BenkoBot platform: http://www.benkobot.com/ If you click this link then enter your API key/token you can then store and run the code directly, you just need to edit the…
-
@Ted Mead you can only unsubscribe a user via the API using their own API token, you can't unsubscribe on their behalf. Each member can add a Butler command to unwatch any card they're added to. I also have a product that does this and centralises cards they're added to or comments mentioned so that they get fewer…
-
@Peter Ye can you share a screenshot of what it looks like?
-
@Mahmoud Magdy I think what you're running into there is the limit on the total number of operations in a single command. Quoting from this link: https://help.trello.com/article/1181-butler-features-and-quotas "To protect our systems and prevent strain on Trello’s resources, we apply some limits such as a rate limit on the…
-
@Ole Jørgen it is possible for a chrome extension to influence card filtering, difficult for a powerup unless it's done through external hosting. You might find that sorting the lists by created date works just as well though if you only want to see recent cards.
-
@Mahmoud Magdy can you post a screenshot of the rule you already created and let me know the names of the lists it works for and the names of the lists it doesn't work for?
-
@Bri I think what you can do is add a label to the "parent" that will copy to the linked card, then have a separate rule triggering when a card is created with that label on it to look for the due date on the first card linked in the attachments, get the due date and set it on the trigger card. The only trigger is that…
-
@Mahmoud Magdy so to clarify you want something like: When a card is added to list "One" copy the card to all other lists in the board Does that sound right?
-
@Mary Diers The following Butler variables track this information built-in: {cardhoursinlist} {cardminutesinlist} {carddaysinpreviouslist} {cardhoursinpreviouslist} You can read more details about these variables (and others) here: https://help.trello.com/article/1157-variables You can use these variables in Butler…
-
@Mary Diers I've built similar functionality for clients using my Trello automation platform: http://www.benkobot.com/ at the moment it doesn't support advanced checklists but if you're interested in this solution it would be relatively easy to add it in. The code that executes it will look something like:…
-
@Laura Sutherland if you're using Gmail you can also do this with my products BenkoBoard and BenkoDesk: http://www.benkoboard.com/ <-- for individuals http://www.benkodesk.com/ <-- for teams You can configure it so all emails are imported, but you can also configure it so only emails you drag into a given labael are…
