@Shohei Mitsuhashi you can't get either of those things (either with Butler or with the API), but you can send an email to members of a card using Butler.
-
@Bri incidentally if you have some functionality that you need to roll out globally and/or for a group of boards (and be able to add and remove boards from those groupings) our BenkoBot platform does that: http://www.benkobot.com/ But it's not a "no code" platform, and it's not built into Trello. Still, if there are some…
-
@Shohei Mitsuhashi well I don't think you could do this with Butler, but we could write a function to do this for you on our BenkoBot platform: http://www.benkobot.com/
-
@Wikus Erasmus so you want a plain text export of all the comments you added to a card?
-
@Shelley Barendregt The quickest way to link cards together is just to hover over one card with your mouse and do ctrl/cmd+c then hover over another card and ctrl/cmd+v (ctrl is for windows, cmd for mac). Basically you can copy and paste card links onto each other from the "front" of the card to quickly link them together.…
-
@Павел Кривко you can't rename custom field list items, what is it you're trying to achieve though? There might be another way to do it.
-
@Wikus Erasmus even from your edited question, Felix's answer still seems to be the correct one. Are you able to elaborate further what you're looking for?
-
@KOHESION hey yep I do this for my clients. I have a basic "project based business" system that I deploy, but the devil is often in the detail. Each person has peculiar ways they want things set up so while I can get a relatively simple version deployed quickly and cheaply the process of building out a system that is "just…
-
@KOHESION yep you can just automate it on a case-by-case basis with the API. There are a few different ways to do it. I use my own product BenkoBoard which centralises cards I'm added to in conjunction with a script that periodically loops through all the "todo" lists and creates a single card in my board with linked…
-
@Bri you can't automatically enable Butler rules on boards you create, but you can have a command library that allows you to easily add a bunch of commands which you can then enable. AFAIK there is no global command management.
-
@Carey Harlan you can reopen a closed board: https://help.trello.com/article/781-reopening-a-closed-board but you may need to move some of your boards to a different workspace or upgrade to Business Class.
-
@ԍяσss is this Trello related?
-
@Mary Diers to answer each question: > Is it possible to get all of our boards under one account Trello boards don't really belong to accounts (unless you're using Enterprise). Boards belong to workspaces. Workspaces can either be free or paid (Business Class). Boards also have members, and those members can be…
-
@Gary Whapples If you're working with subcontractors, I have found the best way to do this is to add a label with the name of the subcontractor and automatically copy a card to their board, linked back to the original. You then have one board where you can see and plan everything, and each contractor can see only their…
-
@Shohei Mitsuhashi if I want a unique identifier I just use the short id of the card. If you make it lower case the search still works to, and you really only need the first few numbers/letters to make it unique so if you're referring to a ticket you just have to say "zpq" rather than "zpq2qiwu"
-
@Deividy Soares yes we can build this report for you, please email team@benkoworks.com with specific details of how your boards are set up etc. and we'll give you a quote.
-
@Nick this Trellinator function would unarchive all cards from one board and move them to a list of the same name in an archive board, in batches of 1000 at a time. https://gist.github.com/iaindooley/0a3aaf1182dc422e8c9fbc4128d9ca77 I have set it initially to just run on 1 card so you can see it working, you just comment…
-
@Austin Kight I would prepare some screenshots of the card activity showing this happening on the dates you describe, as well as a screenshot of the command, then send those to support since if true, this seems like a bug. You can contact support at trello.com/contact by choosing "Ask Trello Support" instead of asking the…
-
@Pavel G. are the emails stored in custom fields?
-
@Andreas Mayr oh actually sorry there's no "archive all cards in list x" action in the due date section. But what you can do is: collect all cards in list X into a checklist loop through each card and archive it Here's an example: Although looking at that now you'd also want to put a filter on that "the moment a card is…
-
@Andreas Mayr you can archive all cards in a list by name when a given card is due easily enough.
-
@Deividy Soares alrightly well this could be sort of epic. I have already created a Trellinator function that implements the search API: https://github.com/iaindooley/trellinator-libs/blob/085dbc023cd89689f1c61edd101f859a89eef886/TrelloApi.js#L39 So for example: TrelloApi.searchCardsInBoards(new…
-
@Andreas Mayr if you wanted to run something every hour, you could use a due date instead and set the due date 1 hour ahead each time the command runs
-
@Deividy Soares it's technically possible, but might not be worth the effort! Why do you want to do this?
-
@Karen Turner I think you might be looking on iOS or Android, I'm pretty sure you can only create new workspaces from the web/desktop app.
-
@Helene Czanba I think the best tool for multi-board visibility like this is Placker, because you can create dependencies and also split up your gantt chart based on label, list name and card member.
-
@Shelley Barendregt One thing you can do is link your "child" tasks to your "parent" tasks, then when you add a due date to a child task set the date on the parent task minus some period based on a label indicating how long the child will take -- this allows you to set up your structure, copy it to a new board, then set…
-
@Daria Are you wanting to do this for staff or customers? ie. is your concern that you want to be able to assign work to people and have them only able to see their own tasks, or that you want to share certain information with customers but not have them able to see other customers' tasks? Also on what scale are you doing…
-
@Jessica Galvao Lima I think by "file" you mean "archive" right? If that's what you mean then it's there forever, Trello never deletes archived cards.
-
@[deleted] can you link to cards from a checklist item on the free version. You can also automate it with Butler: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Trello-articles/Trello-Subtasks-with-Butler/ba-p/1060392
