@Mike Stevens > Unless I'm missing a trick, what I'm thinking of as a good reason to add such a feature is when you have many cards and many lists. If I want to move a number of cars from the far left of my board, to a list on the far right, I can only do that one at a time – yes? Well not really you can use the same…
-
@skridler no the full stop is a "period". The symbol above a full stop is ">" and the symbol above the comma is "<", thus full stop and comma are shortcuts to move the card to the right or left respectively. Just be aware that the focus remains on the moved card until you move your mouse over another card, so if you're…
-
@Mike Stevens if you're selecting multiple cards you also have to select them one at a time. Since you can move cards on a keyboard with the full stop keyboard short cut, and move cards on a mobile device easily between 2 lists in "zoom out" mode I don't see how adding in a "multiple select mode" would be an improvement.

@Matt Chambers yep that sounds about right :) In addition to the docs there are hundreds of examples I wrote in response to questions on the community over the years: https://gist.github.com/iaindooley
-
@Rob Schaerer that's right, Trellinator still works in GAS, I still run stuff in GAS using Trellinator for myself and a couple of clients, but as much as possible I have moved things to the BenkoBot platform.
-
@Matt Chambers and yes I can put you in touch with a dev who would be able to implement all that for you on Upwork relatively inexpensively, but BenkoBot isn't a free product like hosting a script in GAS
-
@Matt Chambers yes well you can use BenkoBot for the same thing, it runs Trellinator code so everything you could do with Trellinator, you can do with BenkoBot, the only difference is that it's not in the Google Apps Script environment so it's slightly more tricky to connect to email, but you can still make REST API calls…
-
@Matt Chambers note that the stuff in the helloworld PDF about using murphytest to run command line tests for your code still applies to BenkoBot, because it has a github integration so you can test code on the command line then push to github and deploy in BenkoBot. The setup for this is in the community board "Developer…
-
@Matt Chambers hey Matt, sorry I have just added this note to the top of the original article, I'm sorry you wasted your time trying to get it to work: UPDATE 2023: Hi all, unfortunately changes in Google Apps Script have made it very difficult to register the webhooks we need to in order to run Trellinator. We were kind…
-
@Steve it looks like your board is called "LWFF 2024", there is no hyphen in the board names according to your screenshot. In order to constrain search results to a single board with a name containing a space, put the board name in double quotes: board:"LWFF 2024" alaska

@Daniel Tan you just need to scroll to the bottom of the page to where it says "contact support"
-
@Daniel Tan you might find what you need in the usage or command logs: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/opening-the-usage-log/ https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/opening-the-command-log/ If you can't figure out the problem then yeah just go to trello.com/contact and send a question to support
-
@Carlos Pozos Ochoa unfortunately Google Apps Script has broken this even more than it was already broken, and doesn't seem to be willing to fix it although at least it is now in an "Assigned" state: https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/235862472 Last time a customer wrote to me and said everything had stopped, I had to…

@Alex W No I'm not already a partner, because in order to become a partner you have to be a specialist in other Atlassian software apart from Trello. I have shared this feedback with the person who was doing the partner program intake, as well as senior Trello staff but haven't seen any changes announced.
-
@Alex W hi there, if you're getting this question a lot have you considered pushing to get Trello included properly in the Atlassian partner program? Currently you have a Trello category but you can't become a partner unless you're a specialist in other Atlassian software, so for people who are "Trello purists" you don't…

Thanks for the tag @Brittany Joiner !
-
@Hyland_ Kevin R_ thanks! Atlassian do actually send out nice things to community leaders and participants :) Although I've not been participating anywhere near as much the past 4 months due to being consumed by another project.
-
@Feier Florin congratulations on getting it up and running and on achieving your development goals! There have been several changes to the way that deployment works in Google Sheets including one which actually can't be worked around without reverting back to the legacy editor (these are the bug reports linked from the…
-
@Yair Adi you can parse emails: https://parser.zapier.com So what you would do is put the destination email, subject and body in the body of your email to Zapier, then parse those fields out and use them to send the email on via the Gmail connection.
-
@Kyle Roode yep, the "bottom" position for lists is all the way to the right, the "top" position is all the way to the left. Also note that Google Apps Script has undergone some changes and some of those have significantly complicated deployment. We have deployed a new hosted version called BenkoBot that allows you to…
-
@Paula Birchfield can you post a screenshot of your rule so we can see how it differs from the example I provided?
-
@James Carr well done! You can always chuck your request into our site here: http://www.benkobot.com/ You can use BenkoBot in conjunction with existing Butler rules or port them over. It can be useful for example if there are one or two rules that run with very high frequency that dominate your quota, or a particular thing…
-
@James Carr if you're creating linked cards, then the cards that get created will have a link back to the original card, and you can also choose to copy labels from the original card. What this means is that you can create a second rule that reacts to cards created with a given label, *lookup* (not find) the first card…

@Dmitriy Rudakov the full reference docs for Trellinator are available here: http://docs.trellinator.com/ Alternatively if you are after someone to develop code for you, we can put you in touch with one of our vetted developers. Just email team@benkobot.com or submit a quote request at http://www.benkobot.com/
-
@Dmitriy Rudakov it's pretty easy to write to a sheet from within GAS, you just do something like this: SpreadsheetApp.getActiveSpreadsheet().getSheetByName("Your Sheet").appendRow(["val1","val2","val3"]);
-
@Dmitriy Rudakov hey there, it sounds like you've pushed all the nodejs code to google apps script. That means the claspignore file isn't correct, are you using trellinator push rather than clasp push? trellinator push first assembles a .claspignore file to include only the relevant project files. BTW the Google Apps…
-
@Tri R if you're not a developer, then you're probably not going to be able to get it working on your own in Google Apps Script. It was always a bit tricky, but recent changes by Google have made it even trickier. You'd be better off running it under the BenkoBot platform which is a product we developed to replace Google…
-
@Jorge Welch it's a standalone web application that integrates Gmail with Trello (no iCloud sorry!)
-
@Frederik Olsson I don't think that will be possible with Butler, but if you submit a quote request to our 3rd party automation platform here we can put you in touch with a developer who can implement this for you quickly and easily: http://www.benkobot.com/

@Oliver Rathonyi-Reusz you could potentially check the item off and use that as the trigger to convert the item to a linked card, and uncheck the item. Then you'd have a linked item and could check it off when the card is moved to done. I guess you'd have to find a way to stop that *actual* check event from triggering it…
