@Veith Del Yep there is, you can create the command: when an item is removed from a checklist, add item "{checklistitemname}" to checklist "{checklistname}", and convert the item to a linked card Look for "convert the item to a linked card" under the "cascade" tab
-
@Daniel Abellán you can't restrict it but if they hit the "q" key on their keyboard they will see only cards assigned to them.
-
@milynnus @iliaskzz I think what he means is that if you first move the card into which you want the items collected, into the same board as the list, you can then collect the cards from that list, and move the card back to the original board.
-
@Sarah Watkins yep, you're right, it doesn't work. This seems like a bug to me because the fact that there is an explicit filter for taking action on a card with a complete due date, does certainly suggest that you should be able to do it. This is something we could do relatively easily with our BenkoBot platform:…
-
@David Lafko Okay well this BenkoBot listener would do it: https://gist.github.com/iaindooley/60f403c427b76eca139bffeae78e38b8 You can preview and install that code in BenkoBot by clicking the link below -- you will need to enter your API details first, you will want to create a "bot" Trello account first and login as that…

@Pam Scott I like the Time Doctor integration the best, because it doesn't run as a power up or a chrome extension so you can use it to track time on Trello cards from your mobile device.
-
@Tony you should be able to use the Butler reporting tool: https://help.trello.com/article/1192-creating-reports-with-butler combined with a filter based on due date or custom field, so you can set the due date or custom field on card creation then report based on that using a filter.
-
@Veith Del the problem is that the item is already removed, so it can't be converted to a linked item. You should still have access to the checklist item name as a variable though so perhaps your automation could immediately add a new checklist item with the same name then convert that to a linked card:…
-
@Jason Crum this is what my product BenkoBoard does: http://www.benkoboard.com/ except that each person has their own board so any card they're added to anywhere in Trello creates a linked card in their Inbox list. It also connects Trello as a Gmail client, but you can disable the automated import and still manage your…
-
@Laura McLam there's no "loop through all cards" type feature in Butler (there used to be in Butler Bot but there was also a limit on the total number you could loop through). This BenkoBot function would do it: https://gist.github.com/iaindooley/3a99a495e31bffbeb847ded9190da4d6 You can install it as a Trello Listener by…
-
@David Lafko well, if you're linking the cards together and moving them at the same time, and the reason they're separated in the first place is because of how they're arriving in the board (presumably from some other service) why not just archive the card when you link it? That way you have one card that has a bunch of…
-
@Pete my favourite task management tool to use IS Trello: https://benkoworks.com/shortlist-your-tasks/
-
@John Oneill hey we have provided an example of how to connect Trello to Twilio for customer 2 way messaging using our BenkoBot platform: https://trello.com/c/ITJ78mp9/62-twilio-without-an-auto-reply You can see more examples and a Developer "Crash Course" on the same board, feel free to get in touch if you need any hints…
-
@Richard Carroll the only way to do it would be to send the report first to Zapier's email parser then post it as an HTML email through another service out to the team
-
@David Lafko You could create an API automation such that whenever one card is moved to a new list, any card linked in the attachments is moved to the same list. Is that really what you want though? Are the cards in the same list to begin with?
-
@Karoline Sandborg with the recent changes to workspaces, what you might find is that you need to move some boards out of your workspace into a different workspace in order to reopen closed boards without exceeding the 10 board free limit (or you could upgrade your workspace to a paid plan which would allow you unlimited…
-
@Owen Meyer if the typeform powerup only allows you to connect a single board to a single form, one option would be to connect each form up to a different board then set up Butler automations to move the cards from those boards into their respective lists in the target board when the cards are created. I assume that if the…
-
@Jill Young well, you can see a "crash course" and some examples on how to use BenkoBot on our community board :) https://trello.com/b/IoHmhz5c/benkobot-community-board
-
@Barry Botwin I run a Trello automation company: https://www.benkoworks.com/ and in particular we have built a specialised automation platform for Trello that can pick up the slack where Butler can't do the job: http://www.benkobot.com/
-
@Harry Breda when you copy a card you can uncheck the option to include attachments:
-
@Chenchen Mao you can do this pretty easily with a BenkoBot action like this: https://gist.github.com/iaindooley/99ff3d25f869e2b9d4311f692f888147 You can install that action (you'll need to enter your api key/token first then you can preview the code to edit your workspace name and usernames before running) using this…
-
@Jill Young there isn't anything built in that will let you copy a card and maintain its state but that's a relatively simple API automation that could be done using our BenkoBot platform: http://www.benkobot.com/ If you wanted to still use a button, you could have the button add a label then use that as the trigger for…
-
@Jeremiah nice UI. It looks as though this is for registering webhooks that you host yourself right? BenkoBot actually registers the webhooks and then receives all the notifications, and calls the code. So you just write the listeners and actions rather than hosting the webhooks.
-
@Jeremiah it's all raw API calls under the hood, Trellinator is something I originally created to continue doing consulting for clients that I was previously doing with Butler *Bot* (pre-powerup) in Google Apps Script, but GAS has always been finicky to setup and has some performance problems so BenkoBot is like "hosted…
-
@nxtcristian in terms of speed things are always going to be a little slow whether you're using Butler or the API. If you've gotten most of the way with Butler but need more advanced functionality and you're a coder you might like our product BenkoBot: http://www.benkobot.com/ You can see full docs for the bundled…
-
@Fern Rutberg I created a product called BenkoBoard, the primary purpose of which is to let you use Trello as a Gmail client but which also centralises notifications in a single inbox list and unwatches any card you're added to: http://www.benkoboard.com/ The net result is that a) you get far fewer notifications and b) you…
-
@Cate Brooks Sweeney If you look at the documentation for creating reports in Butler: https://help.trello.com/article/1192-creating-reports-with-butler You can see they have a visual reporting option that will create a "due soon" email, but you can also customise a text based email report using standard automation filters…
-
@Sarah Watkins having a due date marked as complete shouldn't impact the ability to run automations on the card, you probably just need to tweak the rule. Can you post a screenshot of your rules?
-
@Chris Days The Crmble powerup has an email field and allows you to view and export all your leads
-
@WG Trello Admin > but can't see how that would enable you to accept and modify an email sent from Trello to be then sent from a Gmail account to a customer. You format your email like this: Subject: Whatever From: you@example.org Message: Your message goes here blah blah blah Sincerely, You Then you use Zapier's email…
