I figured it out, issueInputParameters.setComment("${issue.assignee.displayName},this comment.")

@Adam Lopez, You can also reach out to a solutions partner.

@Mike Parton, Sorry, I meant to say issue security scheme for project 2.
-
He/She shouldn't have to log in twice. Service desk will recognize their login and match it with the permissions in each project then populate Service desk according to the permission scheme.

@Anders Timsjö, The great thing about Jira is that issues can be linked to other issues in different projects. And workflows can be shared as well. But backlogs cannot be shared. If the projects were to be separated, creating a kanban board to show the backlog would be an alternative.

Hi @Mike Parton, I understand your frustration. Take a look at this documentation for more information. I'd recommend making two separate permission schemes. In scheme 1 for project 1, add the user as a project administrator, individually by their name. In proj 2, add the user as a Service Desk Customer - Portal Access in…

Hi @Anders Timsjö, It's important to determine whether the different teams will be tracking the same data or different data. Usually, different teams have different initiatives. Working out of different projects becomes more effective because each team can customize their projects workflow, screens, and issue types. I…

Hi @DJ, The board is dependent on the project it is pulling issues from. I'd edit the "Browse Project" permissions to all users in your organization. I'd then edit the "Create" and "Edit" issues permissions to reporters, admin's, etc. (to your liking). Another option is to go into the board configuration and under general,…

Hi @Gary Barg, On the player, I only see the help, resources, and exit buttons. Where would I be able to see the transcript? In terms of revamping, the study guide for the ACP 600 was much more descriptive. The course for the ACP 600 also was more detailed. I particularly liked seeing the walk-through and then being able…

Hi, I'm very new to Atlassian (less than 6 months) and in order to learn how to use Jira Software, I found practicing the dev environment to be most helpful. I practiced doing different tasks as a Project Admin and as a Jira Admin in order to really understand the permissions and concepts. I'd like to see a transcript or…

Custom Fields is another option.

Hi @Darren LaPadula, Take a look at the Trello Power Ups. Off the top of my head, the Harvest power-up will allow you to set a duration of time on the trello card.
-
@Jeff Mante, If you feel like I answered your question, kindly mark my answer as accepted.
-
Got it! I myself am studying for ACP 600. Good luck!
-
Hi @Esvaran Kanggala Moorthi, What option did you choose when you created the board? Also, what is your end goal? Why are you trying to change it to a simplified workflow?
-
Hi @Jeff Mante, An issue will stay open if the resolution field is not set. Setting a post function to update the field will fix your issue.
-
"manage rules" only appears in agility boards that are made from agility projects.
-
@GKO, Can you double check in your project detilas that it is not an agility project? Also, are you a board administrator for the kanban board?
-
@GKO, You can use swimlanes in scrum and kanban boards. I'd recommend creating a project from a software template.
-
Hi @Ryan Wu, I would recommend deleting the duplicate custom fields in your Jira Settings (must be a Jira admin).
-
Hi @David Pressley, I'm sorry this happen to you! I blame the computer. You can certainly create multiple boards pulling the same issues. Did you double check that you did not delete the original board? You can simply go into your board configuration and edit the query. Once you identify the project in your query, the…

@[deleted], These workflows were created automatically by Jira when a Jira Service Desk was created. I'd search your service desk projects if those project keys no longer exist. Also in the Jira setting, under issues, in the workflow schemes, the page shows you what scheme is associated with what project.
-
@Nic Brough -Adaptavist- is correct. Jira Administrators usually make different workflows and name them differently. The name usually correlates to the name of the project. Different workflows usually consist of different statuses, transitions, conditions, etc. which aren't effective for every project.

Hi @PF, Try the following: Enabling sub-tasks

Hi @mayurkolpek2, To edit a board, open the board > click the board button > click configure. To view versions, look at this documentation.
-
Hi @Adam Parchert, Click on the card and click 'remove cover' in the attachments section.
-
Hi @Evan Brodie- Unfortunately, whenever you're added to a board, list, and card, you will receive a notification. There doesn't seem to be a work around.
-
Hi @María Fernanda Díaz Vidal- If I'm understanding correctly, your current login is displaying old boards with your former teams rather then your new boards? Did you happen to make your new boards under a different email address? Have you tried looking at your boards page?
-
Hi @Ron_Bailey, The free version of Trello shouldn't prevent you from using the power up Butler. As I am currently using the free version and the power up. Have you installed it on your board already?
