Hi @CSPTech, you can configure it by updating your JSM product settings > customer access. Look at the "Set up an open portal" at https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/set-up-and-manage-portal-access/#Set-up-an-open-portal. It should address what you're looking for.

Great question! Unfortunately, for now, Canada only. We're seriously discussing the possibility of expanding that beyond Canada. There are cases where candidates are relocating to Canada and then applying to our positions. I will definitely make a new post once our organization opens up for remoting positions abroad.…

Thanks for sharing it. Even with the ability to archive projects, I like the broader cleanup approach, especially the configurations, to keep the environment clean. It's interesting your strategy of exporting project issues to a pdf document. Do you use any app to do that or out-of-the-box functionalities only?
-
Absolutely. We're always looking for talents like you, @Taranjeet Singh. I hope you get your PR soon. Keep an eye out for the open opportunities, and don't forget to apply! You never know 😉

Hi @Sana Aiman, the short answer is that you can’t change the default workflow. The best course of action is to create a copy and make the changes you want to see. Look at https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/work-with-issue-workflows/ to start with, and learn more about how to work and customize…

Hi @Patricia González, the one you're using works for connected apps only and the syntax should be different for the fieldkey. I believe you're looking to use https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/rest/v3/api-group-issue-custom-field-options/#api-rest-api-3-field-fieldid-context-contextid-option-get. Give it…

Hi @Dirk Ronsmans, I've searched for similar functionality but haven't found a way to handle it properly. I'm curious to learn whether we can customize it further and what others have experienced. Although you likely came across some related feature requests, I'll leave the reference here, DC and Cloud, so that others can…

By the way, you can have a look at the marketplace, where you can find apps that allow you to customize your portal.

Hi @Yasmine Unfortunately, you cannot configure a default view or filter as you described. There is a feature request at the Atlassian public issue tracker where you can vote on and add yourself as a watcher to receive notifications from now on. * https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-3644 Alternatively, you can…

Hi @Carlos Eduardo Chavez Ordaz. Welcome to the Atlassian Community! I suppose you want to fetch the issues from the latest closed sprint in your agile board. To my knowledge, one possible way to get this information is through a marketplace app, for example, using the ScriptRunner agile JQL function previousSprint. I…

I'm glad you found a workaround, but I suppose you're not setting it during a post-function nor using scriptrunner, are you?

The code above didn't work for me either. Therefore, I put this one together and tested it with a simple workflow, which worked. Give it a try. I suggest you try it in the script console before diving into your logic so you can confirm it's working as expected. import com.atlassian.jira.workflow.WorkflowManagerimport…

Right. Did you check the link I shared with the new view for issue status and transition? Do you know when you're instance will get upgraded to 9.x? Now, back to your implementation, did you try to put a code together based on the references I shared initially? I can try to carve out some time this week to attempt this if…
-
Before we get into this rabbit hole, which version are you in and what are the plans to upgrade to Jira 9.x version? I'm saying it because the issue status and transitions have a different look and feel from Jira 9 onward, and the effort you're putting into this may not make sense once you upgrade. I'm trying to help you…

Hi @Joel Batac, I haven't tried it myself, but I believe there is a way you can do that. I googled around and came across similar posts that might help you to get more insights into this. Also, if you can provide more details of your use case, we might be able to come up with alternative solutions and suggestions if…

Hi @kristin whitaker, if I understood correctly, you want to update the value of a variable in a Confluence page created from a template. By design, templates don't provide this functionality. Once a page gets created, you no longer have access to the variables, which are part of the initial template. Atlassian doesn't…

Hi @Sushmitha, I suggest going through Troubleshooting why a Jira user did not receive a notification from a ticket while this user was expecting to receive it and post your findings back to this thread. Based on your description, it seems fine on the Jira side, especially if other assignees and reporters are receiving…

Hi @Stefano Galati, it's definitely not normal. It sounds like you're migrating space by space rather than site import. I've done a bunch of migrations and come across different issues, but not this one in particular. I don't know which phase of your migration you are at, but assuming you don't have a significant delta in…
-
Hi @Arno Schoenmakers, I haven't encountered this use case before, but I know you can remove comments permission, which removes the ability to comment altogether. I've seen instances where users wanted to customize Confluence UI elements further, and we recommend marketplace apps that, among other features, also disable…

Hi @Khloe Salmon, you can export reports to excel. You might have seen it, but in case you don't, under analytics, any tab other than "Overview," you have an option to export to excel on the top right (...).
-
Hi @Shahar Nissim, this it not currently possible. There is an open feature request in the Atlassian public issue tracker that you can vote on and add yourself as a watcher to receive notifications from now on. * https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-8481

Hi @abhishek_sharma03, you don't need to change the database to deactivate users in bulk or remove them from your license count. For example, you could use APIs or a marketplace app such as License & User Deactivator for Jira/Confluence, among others. Another option, if applicable in your case, would be updating the groups…

Hi Steven, you can follow the kb I shared initially, which will guide you through how to allow a customer to just-in-time create an account in your Cloud Site. In this case, you can skip the SSO for now, but everything else applies in this case. The catch is that they will be created as Atlassian account customers, and you…

Hi, @Todd Brumbeloe. Welcome to the Atlassian Community! To my knowledge, change calendar isn't available to customers through the customer portal. There is, though, a feature request with Atlassian to provide the ability to export and subscribe to the change calendar. I'll leave the link that you can vote and add yourself…
-
Yes, one way to accomplish this is using Team Calendars for Confluence. If you haven't looked into that yet, I encourage you to do so. We use it internally and so do many other customers we provide support. We also integrate with other calendars to get a consolidated view in one place. So, no "hacky" way in this case.
-
No, they are different products. Atlassian Access is an identity and access management solution that connects your products, such as Jira Service Management, with your identity provider, among other features. In this case, your employees—Atlassian account Customers—need an Atlassian login to use SSO, and you also need to…

Hi, @Steven Philpot. Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Have a look at the links below. I believe they will address what you're looking for. * Configure Atlassian Access SAML Single Sign-on and User Provisioning for Customer Accounts in Jira Service Management * Manage Jira Service Management customer accounts

Hi @Khloe Salmon, although I haven't explored it much, pages and attachments' latest versions won't get deleted, only the history. You might have checked it by now, but I'll leave the link to the documentation as a reference. https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/set-retention-rules-to-delete-unwanted-data-1108681072.html

Hi @Sonal Sharma, welcome to the Atlassian Community! Using the parentObject returns the parent issue or null if the issue is not a subtask. If it's only for Epic Issue type, you can try issue.issueType?.name != 'Epic' Note that the item will be visible if the condition returns true. Also, as a condition in a script…

Small ones, and most classical music. I've been playing and studying classical guitar since I was 8. I'm fortunate to have had a chance to see great names like John Williams, and David Russell, among others. For those who enjoy classical guitar, you can take a listen to my album. I recorded it about 15 years ago with my…
