It looks like the project is a Service project, and JCMA currently does not migrate Service projects; that's why it's not listed.
-
Hi @Gavin Klose, although you mentioned the field appears in the forms and issues, have you checked the custom field context? Fields are typically grey out when not available for the project. Perhaps, the field context has been recently changed.

You can. Apologies if I wasn't clear. Have a look at Configuring Jira application options. You need to set the settings Maximum Authentication Attempts Allowed to blank. The maximum authentication attempts that are allowed before CAPTCHA is shown to a user. If you leave it blank then CAPTCHA will never be shown and users…

Is it for all users or just a few of them? They might have failed login count greater than the maximum authentication attempts allowed. For those users, you would need to reset failed login count under the login details column in the user management settings.

Hi @Sunny Kyusu, have you enabled/disabled CAPTCHA by following the steps at Enabling public signup and CAPTCHA docs? Please note it's a global configuration and currently does not support administrators to disable CAPTCHA for specific users (JRASERVER-40362). For the second part of your question, I'd suggest creating a…

Hi @Viktor Manushin, you can run Bamboo DC on a single node, which is, in most cases, upgrade your license. I'm not sure whether there is specific documentation; however, if you are looking at clustering your current installation, you should be able to set it up by following the Clustering with Bamboo Data…

Hi @Vrushali Thorve, Jira Cloud does not currently support export/import single projects. There is an open suggestion (JRACLOUD-72570 ) to vote on and add yourself as a watcher to receive notifications from now on. Alternatively, you can create a new project with a shared configuration, export and import your issues. As a…

Hi @Michelle Wilson, not out of the box, but you can achieve somethig similar to what you're looking for with apps like this one. You will certainly find other apps that can help you with that. Have a look at the Marketplace. Now, as a suggestion, I'd review the process you have in place because watching a lot of issues…

Hey @Robert Heckel, I have implemented a similar use case in the past using behaviours. Since you've got ScriptRunner, you can learn more about how you can use it with Service Management projects at Behaviours with Service Management.
-
You can search courses by product (JSM), which there are a few courses where reporting and JQL will be part of that. You will also find more information around reporting and JQL at Jira Service Management Cloud documentation. I know it's not a direct answer as it doesn't look like there is a specific JSM reporting course…
-
Hi @albert_pinto, you can look at Atlassian University, where you can find some great free courses. Cheers.
-
In addition to what Kian said, there is an open suggestion in the Atlassian public issue tracker for this feature - CONFCLOUD-35183.
-
Hi @Felipe Vilhes, I'd strongly suggest exploring JQL; have a look at JQL queries specific to SLAs. However, if you still want to use the database, you can find tables and some examples at How to Troubleshoot SLAs in Jira Service Management. Cheers.
-
I see; the message you're getting says you cannot create issues due to an invalid license. I suppose you (and the user sending an email) can create issues via UI, can't you? Perhaps, we can better assist you if you can share 1) your project customer permissions settings, 2) your global JSM customer permissions settings,…
-
Hey @Rick Baker, are you using a team-managed or a company-managed project type? Assuming the latter, are you planning to generate reports or use the "field" in other projects? These initial questions can drive how you can implement that, which you can accomplish in various ways. Even though your list can and will change…
-
Hi @Tim Haynes, you can look at a couple of configurations and logs to help you to understand why it's not working. Have a look at your customer permission configuration to ensure who can send requests to your project via IT@XXXX.atlassian.net. You can also look at the logs under Products > Email requests. You can ask your…
-
I agree with Hana. However, if you still want bulk-adding users to roles, especially if there will be different agents/permission schemes in those projects, you can look at the APIs or scripting them using an app.…

You don't have access to the database on Cloud. Have you tried the Jira macro repair? On your cloud site, go to Settings > Jira macro repair and follow the steps. If it didn't work, you might need to raise a request with Atlassian.

I wouldn't say that I owned it as a pet, but I developed some caring for a spider that used to show up on my balcony when I was a kid. I recall picking up some mosquitos to feed the little spider, affectionally known as Mrs. Brown. Obviously, I had no idea what I was getting into. My grandma said that I didn't see the same…

Great. I'm glad you made it. 😊
-
Hi @Katarzyna Kowalska, you can easily achieve that by using Jira automation, among other apps. What hosting are you in? Server/DC or Atlassian Cloud? Which apps do you currently have installed?
-
Hey @Rob, the short answer is that customers cannot change fields in the customer portal. You will need an app to achieve it. A long-time suggestion is opened in the Atlassian public tracker, JSDCLOUD-93, where you can vote on and add yourself as a watcher to receive notifications from now on. I'm sure others will chime in…
-
Hey @Zachary Singh, you don't need to create a system snapshot to export all filters and dashboards. You can achieve that using your project snapshots, where you have the ability to select the additional filters and dashboards you want to migrate along with your selected projects. Have a look at the…

Thank you for putting it together weekly. It's an excellent summary. I enjoy watching how you give the updates - friendly, educational, and most important, easy to digest. It's noticeable the effort you guys put into your channel and the content you've been creating. It's been one of my favourite corners to stop by Monday…

Hi @Joseph Hortch, you can get some insights into that through the Adaptavist Library script below. Have a look. https://library.adaptavist.com/entity/get-the-visibility-of-new-comments-in-jira-service-desk
-
Hi @Khuram Butt, Automation for Jira can help you with that. Have a look at the Jira automation template library, where you will find something like Sync work across epics and stories, where you can get some insights to help you with your use case. I hope that helps. Cheers.

Yeah, there isn't an option to filter by private shared permission yet. If the current UI capabilities don't meet your needs, you can always explore APIs to help you achieve that, better yet, if you find an app that helps you with that. When it comes to the cleanup type of activities, filters and dashboards are not…

I'd definitely set up the Issue updated event to check if it's notifying the expected users. I know, in some particular situations, like the email processing, Jira triggers notifications by firing the Issue Updated event instead of Issue Commented, for example.
-
Hi @Lisa Bruce, I've seen similar issues before. What JSM version are you in? Is it happening when the reporter comments through the customer portal only? What's the setup for your Issue Updated event? What about different assignees? Does the assignee get notifications for other events? Perhaps, answering some of these…

Hi @S Fong, not yet. There is an open suggestion related to what you're looking for in the Atlassian public issue tracker that you can vote for and add yourself as a watcher to receive notifications going forward. * https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-41269 Cheers.
