Bingo! There more to fill out, but I'll save that for later 😉

Hi @Ed Ramon, unless you had created an Atlassian account with an email domain you haven't yet verified for your organization, I'm afraid you won't be able to bypass the SSO. In this case, you need to raise a support request with Atlassian, as described in this thread.

Hi @Scott Mitchell, others have experienced the same issue, as you can see on this thread. Also, there is a bug tracked on ACCESS-1015, where you can vote and add yourself as a watcher to receive updates going forward. Cheers, IL.

Can you select, as columns, the options Key and Project? What version are you in? Also, underneath columns, you have your defaults, filter and system column options; perhaps you're displaying system rather than your defaults. Another quick check, couldn't those be custom fields not yet populated?

Nice! I can't top any of the above, but ours was a train trip too. From Toronto to Quebec with an overnight in Ottawa. First time travelling to those places and also on a train. The meal was nice, but the experience was much better. My wife and I would love to go on a Canadian Rockies train tour one day - I've heard it's…

Hi @Scott Nelson, I don't recall any particular change you can make that would cause similar behaviour. Can you share a screenshot? It makes it easier to assist you with this.

Hi @Paulin Sanselme, Jira Cloud doesn't provide the ability to access application logs. You can track key activities on your Jira application by auditing it. That being said, if you still face problems, you would need to raise a ticket with the Atlassian support team (https://support.atlassian.com/contact) If this is…

Hi @sanjay, have a look at the following jirakb: Retrieve a list of users assigned to project roles in Jira server. It should help you with that. Cheers, IL.
-
@Jennifer, have you tried to create the field and remove it while keeping it under the removed field list on the right panel under the previously-created field section? Do you need to access/view the field content somehow? If not, it should work. Cheers, IL.

This is really nice! Thanks for the update.

This is amazing. Thanks for this great summary. 🙌🏻

Hi @Shaun Morgan, custom field descriptions, which appear below the field on issues, are designed to provide additional details/descriptions about the field. You can define different descriptions in each field configuration to override the description you added but not make it editable. You can look at the available custom…

Hi Luca, thanks for clarifying that. Unfortunately, the approval assignment you described based on custom field selection is not possible out of the box. In this case, you would need an app to help you achieve this. That's why I asked you which app you already have installed so that we could explore it. To the second part…

@Sucheta Belvi, it's not currently possible to display the last comment in the issue navigator column. There is a suggestion in the Atlassian ticket system that you can vote and add yourself as a watcher to receive updates moving forward. * JRACLOUD-2734: Display last comment in issue navigator column You can find…
-
Hi @Luca Lo Casto, I see a few different ways you can achieve this. I assume you're referring to a Jira Service Management project where you can configure approvals. Is that the case? Will the tickets be created via the customer portal only? Besides the custom field to determine the approvers, is there any other behaviour…
-
Hi @Vanessa Vogt, You can achieve that by adding a custom email account. I would also recommend taking a look at the following links. They will give you a good starting point to customize your email settings. * Receive requests from an email address * Email process for POP, IMAP, cloud, and other email types * Configure…

Hi Ryan, It's possible, but not trivial. Since merging users is not currently supported, you will find some workarounds. It seems you're looking to merge the users because there is content ownership associate with both usernames. If your issue is duplicity only, and one of the users created no content, I'd say the path…

That's great. Thank you for keeping us posted on the certification updates.

Well, I have a confession to make. I've never played it. Another shocking revelation, I'm not a game person. The only game I play is chess, chess.com, and I'm not good at it either, just for fun. For those who are up to a chess game... Chess.com ickraix

Hi everyone. My name is Ivan, and I live in Toronto, Canada. I work at iTMethods Inc, helping organizations to manage and scale their Atlassian stack. When I'm not working or not thinking about it, I'm usually playing guitar, planning my next trip or enjoying my life outside with my wife. The best thing about being an…

Thanks, @Jimmy Seddon. Amazing summary as always!

Yeah, no problem. I'm glad it helped.

This is a global configuration that affects all projects within your Jira instance. You should carefully consider making global changes to prevent undesired side-effects to your users. 😉
-
@Steve H_, this is not configured in the look and feel settings but in the JIRA user interface via options on the Advanced Settings page. Editing JIRA's advanced settings To access and edit options on the 'Advanced Settings' page: 1. Choose > System. 2. Click the Advanced Settings button on the 'General Configuration'…

Hi @Steve H_, I tested it myself, and it worked just fine for both Atlassian Cloud and Data Center. Did you follow the configurations from the example/docs I shared above? It would be helpful if you could share a screenshot of the parameters you've set so that we can better assist you here.
-
@Steve H_, in this case, you would need to update the advanced settings. Have a look at the Configuring date picker formats section at Changing the Due Date Input Format. This article should address that for you. Cheers, IL.
-
Well, I'd say you're well equipped. You can give it a try based on David's suggestion. Also, if you can, it would be helpful to share the snippet you're working on so that we can better assist you here.

@Marvin Wilke, it's common to think you need the Browse users' global permission. Still, in this case, if you want them to select users in a user picker field through the portal/forms, you need to set your customer permissions, under Who customers can share with to Any customer or organization, by searching in this…
