Hi @Brian , there is actually a setting to enable exactly this : you should have a look in your JSM project -> Project Settings -> Knowledge Base and then choose "Restricted" in the Vieweing permissions. This way, all customers will have access to this Confluence space directly (with the URL mysite.atlassian.net/wiki) They…
-
Hi @Jeff Miner , this is the way to add customers to your site : * on your JSM project, go to Project Settings and then People : here you can add people with the Service Desk Customers role Let me know if this helps, --Alexis
-
Hi @Claire Berry , what you did is exactly how I would have done it : it's the quickest way to populate custom fields. You can now just delete those issues that you created, as they don't have any purpose anymore : go on the search bar and click on Advanced issue search, look for these issues and select Bulk Change and…

Hi @[deleted] , looking at the latest error message you provided, I think this KB could apply : https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/upgrade-failed-application-will-not-start-com-atlassian-config-configurationexception-cannot-update-schema-947849026.html It has the same error message as you have, so you could use the…

Hi @avsaditya , there are no issues upgrading directly from Bitbucket version 6.x to 7.x : there is no need for an intermediate version. You can have a look at the upgrade matrix here : https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserver/bitbucket-upgrade-matrix-966065971.html Let me know if this helps, --Alexis

I though you needed this for an email notification, if it's a custom field then can you please let me know what type it is ?
-
Hi @Anuradha Yadav , you can go to admin.atlassian.net and Manage Subscription : you'll see there what subscriptions and trials you have, and it'll say if it's a Standard or Premium plan. Let me know if this helps, --Alexis
-
Hi @Alexander , I think using this simple HTML code should do what you want : <a href="{{toUrl}}">{{key}}</a> Let me know if this helps, --Alexis
-
Hi @Yogesh Mude , you can use the Control Chart to get the average number of days a set of ticket stays open : https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/view-and-understand-the-control-chart/ You can even choose what status to use, or use a filter with the report. Let me know if this helps, --Alexis

Hi @serge calderara , yes, it should be as simple as updating the license key : there are no restrictions even on trial licenses as long as it is for testing purposes. It should also work fine even on the H2 database. For your plugins, you can do the same : go on marketplace.atlassian.com, search for your plugin and click…
-
If you're not using it in production, you could always apply a trial license (you can get one from my.atlassian.com) and perform the upgrades before migrating
-
In this case you can simply choose Data Center : you won't need to do anything else, just update the license key in Jira.
-
Hi @serge calderara , if you need to keep testing, you can simply generate a new trial license at my.atlassian.com and click on "New trial license". There are no limits on how many trial you can use, if you're still on testing phase. Let me know if this helps, --Alexis

Hi @Valentin Smoliy , there are a couple options, I guess it depends on how many pages and spaces need to be moved. If you only have a few pages (less than 100) the easiest way is probably to manually copy each page. If you have lots of pages/spaces however, you could first upgrade the Confluence instance to 7.x version…
-
It might just be an issue with the latest Docker image then, you should maybe wait for the next version then.
-
Hi @[deleted] , from another thread with MS SQL Server, looks like it could be because of permissions from the database user. Can you try checking the permissions, and if that fails create a new user with full privileges on Confluence tables ?
-
Hi @Dennis Kuiper , if you need this only for a specific status, then you can add it to the JQL query : updated <= -3d and status = XXX You just need to know what status is mapped to your board column. If you click on a ticket that is in this board, you'll be able to see its status.
-
Hi @Dennis Kuiper , I would do a scheduled trigger (like, every hour or whatever works for you) and use this JQL for example : updated <= -3d Then add the Slack message action to send a message to your channel. I did something similar to send reminder to customers : Let me know if this helps, --Alexis
-
Hi @Helen.Ash , I've had the exact same issue, I've made 2 different rules and use the "Compare Value" function to check if I sent an email previously : First rule to warn the user Second rule to close the issue Let me know if this helps, --Alexis
-
Hi @Matt Harford , in this case you should be able to add a synchronized group from Azure AD to the project as customer, In Project Settings -> People click Add people and start typing the group name. This will make a subset of your users customers of these projects, and you won't have to add every user manually. Let me…
-
OK I see, this is a simple warning that since you're doing a JQL query the automation might be a bit slow. The automation will count towards your 500 executions IF it's listening on multiple projects (for instance, if you need the trigger to be on several projects). In this case, one execution = one triggering of the rule.…
-
Hi @Uvuvwevwevwe Onyetenyevwe Ugwemubwem Ossas , for Jira Server this is allowed, however it's not a great idea as the goal of Jira is to be able to track who works on what. For Jira Cloud however this would not be allowed. Let me know if this helps, --Alexis
-
Hi @Eladio Rincón Herrera , can you please share the message saying this will be expensive ? I'm not sure what you're referring to. In this case you can run the rule with a single project scope , this way it won't count towards your 500 executions a month.
-
Hi @Eladio Rincón Herrera , you have the right idea: it is possible to do this with Automation, and will actually be way easier than manually ! You can choose to either set the rule to run every last day of the month for example, or set it to run manually so that you can trigger the rule yourself. It would look like this…

Hi @Anna Panfilova , in this case I would get in touch with the addon support : https://marketplace.atlassian.com/vendors/1215743/alan-gibson Let me know if this helps, --Alexis

That's some good tips, especially the bit about looking for similar issues in the community : I've found that very often an issue has already been asked AND answered, so it's always a good idea to redirect people to these, or reference them in your answer.
-
Thanks for the article @Community Manager ! It's great that you included examples, I know that sometimes new member are not sure how to answer questions or where to start - this will be a very helpful guide !
-
Hi @Anna Panfilova , this is most likely to be an issue with the graphviz binary on the system where Confluence is installed. You should check with your System Administrator if the package is properly installed and up to date. Let me know if this helps, --Alexis

Hi @Monique vdB ! I think I've completed this challenge as I'm participating in a few groups already 🙂 Have a nice day ! --Alexis
