@Liam Green - this is a great place to make a suggestion for this community where it will be seen by @Monique vdB and other Atlassian Community team members.

Hello @DevOps Support - this may relate to the linked incident Login / Signup with Microsoft not working. Looks like the issue has been resolved.

Hello @[deleted] Are you using Jira Server or Jira Data Centre? The instructions on Adding SAML integration to your existing user management infrastructure require your Jira instance to be using a Data Centre license. There is no out-of-the-box SSO solution for Jira Server though there a number of Marketplace apps that…

Last year I handmade a Rubik's Cube plushie as a Secret Santa gift for a team mate. It was a fun little project using 6 pieces of felt, a destroyed pillow, and black embroidery thread.

This is similar to one of the standard automation rues available. Normally I'd suggest you check out the Jira Automation rule playground but it is broken right now.

You can set up a subscription to your Jira filter which will email you the filter results weekly. This email could be sent on to customers or be the base of a copy-paste report to remove the hyperlinks. Creating weekly reports in Confluence usually use the Jira filter macro, which gives dynamically updated results when you…

Hi @Seth Copeland, the study plan I wrote takes advantage of my free access to many Atlassian resources which are available to Atlassian Community Leaders and employees of Atlassian Solution Partners. Many people do and have passed the exams using their practical experience, self-study, and the free Skillbuilders offered…

Trello has Team Tables in Beta - check out the blog post You may want to have a Construction team with separate boards pr active job and have the ability to view work by job (board) or by account (team table).

The typical hierarchy is Initiative > Epic > Story as outlined on Configuring hierarchy levels. The hierarchy links do not need to be in the same project.

Hello @Jared At this stage there is no JQL clause that allows you to find (or exclude) issues in the backlog of a Next-Gen project. This was raised by others in the Atlassian community last year.

I understand the frustration of customers reopening old tickets with often unrelated new queries but this needs to be balanced between putting up barriers to customers contacting you. We have an automation that re-opens support desk tickets on customer comments. We do 2 things if a customer re-opens tickets incorrectly: *…

Is this a classic or a next-gen project? * with classic kanban projects, the backlog is a specific issue status, * with classic scrum projects, the backlog is issues without a current or future sprint, and * with next-gen kandban projects there is no field attribute that indicated if an issue is int he backlog or not.…

"CHANGED" is a valid JQL operator that can be used like: status CHANGED BEFORE endOfWeek() AFTER startOfWeek()

As far as I am aware, adding a customer to an organisation does not trigger a notification. Organisations are just a way to add a group of people to Request Participants easily, most commonly to allow multiple customers within the same organisation to see the requests relevant to their organisation.

Could you have "epic link" as a mandatory field on the READY transition? If so, you may need a separate workflow for epics without this mandatory field require on transition.
-
You may need to experiment along the lines of: "Start Date/Time" >= startOfDay(1d9h) AND "End Date/Time" = startOfDay(8d8.5h) I do not have any date/time fields to test with.
-
Atlassian lists data locality as on of the reasons an organisation may choose Server/Data Center over Cloud on the page Compare Atlassian cloud vs server.
-
Something similar to this might work: "Start Time[Time stamp]" >= startOfDay(1) AND "End Date" = startOfDay(8) with the bold values being updated to match your customer fields.

Hi @prasenna.kannan - please read the manage data residency page. You can view where your product content is hosted for products on Free, Standard, and Premium plans and move your product content for products on Enterprise plans.

Check out this Trello template for sprint retrospectives created by the Trello Engineering team.

It has been a couple days since this question was posted so I figured I'll add my 2 cents. The Atlassian Team Playbook resources are available here with the 8 plays for embracing remote teamwork available here.

You may want to Submit a support request to Invision directly.

We use the Request Participants field like cc on emails. Customers can create a login to JSD simply by emailing our support email address, and also create logins for others by cc'ing them on the email. Check out your project customer permissions

Hi @Bobbi Jo Shortt - in short, yes you can display dates on Jira issues in a Confluence calendar if the two products are integrated. The steps to follow are here. Once set up you can also drag-and-drop the event or update its date form Confluence, and it will automatically update in your Jira application.

@Pablo Scheveloff - neither Derek or myself are Atlassian employees so we do not have any visibility of Atlassian roadmaps or development plans. There was an article posted this week called Service level agreements get a facelift. You could try posting a reply to that article as it is being monitored by at least one…

On the 'Rule Details' screen you should be able to update the field 'Actor' to set the user that will be record as taking the automation action. You need to make sure that user has permissions to complete the automation steps.
