Wow - it looks like you were able to experience a whole other side of Summit that I did not get to participate in. Summit is an amazingly busy event especially for those who want to see everything but are really there to stand at a booth and talk about apps and other Atlassian Solution Partner things.

Thank you for sharing the challenges of being bilingual. Many times I tell myself I'd like to learn another language and find the acquisition process intimidating. I'd never giving any thought to the ongoing maintenance of any gained proficiency!

In Jira Server there is an Epic Status field that no one paid attention to for the longest time. We had the same issue as you and resolved it by adding a post-function to update the Epic Status to Done whenever an Epic was resolved or closed. I then used bulk update to set the Epic Status to Done on Epics that were already…

Are there mandatory fields on the Resolve action that are not being filled in (like Resolution)? That is the first thing I would check.

Where are the notifications coming from? If you want to change your notification settings for this Community go to this link to modify your notification settings. If you want to change your notifications from a Confluence instance check out this page for details.

Walking around with no shoes on in town was not considered a sign of poverty or a lack of self-respect, or anything else with negative connotations. Our city streets are also quite clean with no gum on them. You can walk around and not end up with very dirty feet unlike many places.

This is a challenging decision to make without one clear answer. Most of the organisations I have worked in used a Jira Project to mean different things based on the category assigned to it (customer projects, development, internal operations, service and support, ect). You have given an example of customer projects so…

Templates and blueprints can be helpful to encourage consistent formatting and to guide new users to provide information that is useful for everyone like labels. There are some great suggestions here for new Confluence users.

ACP = Atlassian Certified Professional The first of the three numbers (100, 200, etc) reflects the order the certifications wee originally released. These offer no clues to the complexity or experience requirements to be confidant of a pass. The certifications are valid for 18 months. This date can be extended by taking…

TechTime are not offering these courses as webinars but Atlassian do offer online delivery - the details are here. Have you joined the NZ-wide Atlassian user Slack group?

Awww - I actually blushed when I read this @Meg Holbrook

I hope I've done enough for the April badge.
-
Looking forward to seeing this in action.

My first job with a payslip was working at a fish and chip takeaways shop 5 nights a fortnight (every 2 weeks) for $4.75/hour when I was 14. I learnt my 17x tables as most items were $1.70 and learnt what is was like to be treated based on my abilities and not my age. The owner was training me to be able to be a 'manager'…

Who did you meet? What did you eat? I met a lot of wonderful people in real life that already felt like friends from the community. On Tuesday I ate something or some things that triggered an allergic reaction which was less than ideal but I sussed out my food choices by Wednesday. What big announcements did you think were…

I'm excited to learn that Certified Master is something coming soon for those with 4 or more certifications. Yes - some of us are, or want to be, that certifiable (pun intended) :P

I'm pretty sure this is in my list of apps to look into now I am back in the office.

I agree @Jennifer Flinn Sadly I had to miss so many talks I wanted to attend (because I knew they would be available online later), did not get to spend much time at any Atlassian booths (because it is easier to catch up on this information later than to check out so many solution partners and vendors in one place), and…

I prepared ahead of time to be asked this question and I even invited people to the techTime booth to learn the Maori (New Zealand) word for community - but also this preparation was not needed. So with all great information, I'll share it here in the Atlassian Community online. The word 'community' in te reo Maori is…

Thanks for asking @[deleted] but I only got 55% of the necessary 65%. I am excited to see Atlassian have a new training course available for Confluence Administrators. Once I have gone through that course I'm sure the final bits and pieces will fall into place.

As a fellow tea drinker I was pleasantly surprised by the range of tea available however the 'hot' water was disappointing at times.

@Community Manager - It's a shame we did not cross paths at the Summit. Please send me an email as I have some questions for you.
-
Yay!
-
Glad to hear you are feeling better and you are sensible enough to prioritise yourself over fun but optional things like the Community.

Suggestion submitted via MeetUp.com Topic for future meetup. I would love to here some stories about how other Jira users approach the issue of card 'levels of detail'. What is too much, what is to little? How does the concept of 'Batch Size' come into play? How, or when do people use subtasks? And to top it all off, what…

This time of year marks the anniversary of me starting work at an Atlassian Solution Partner. Celebrations all around!
-
@Monique vdB - one of the first things I hunted for in the event app was your name in the list of attendees. I could not find you. Will you be at Summit?
-
Security fixes, performance improvements, and functionality improvements. You could also be on a version of Confluence that is supported by Atlassian. What is holding you back from upgrading? The main advantages to you and your organisation depend on why you are on such and old version and how you use Confluence.

Developer comments in Jira Service Desk can only be visible publicly if the developer is a service desk agent. This has implications for your licensing costs for Jira Service Desk if adding the developers will change your user tier.

Yay! Thanks.
