I am not sure how many decision makers for global businesses are spending time in the Atlassian Community. The C-suite get paid the $$ and need to use their voices/profiles/positions that this money is compensating them for.

Exciting - a Friday Fun thread started on a Friday morning (in my part of the world). I was going to say my husband but I cannot carry him physically. so would carry my sense of wonder. Looking out of the window of aeroplanes can be exciting but to see the Earth would be better still. The view from the Star Man with the…

What am I missing for the Taco badge? Was I too late to the party @Community Manager ?

Hi Ben, Check out the 30 Jira tutorials (276 minutes) available for free here.
-
Hi Perrin, as a Kiwi your greeting drew me to click on your question. You can add Confluence to Jira Service Desk to make it easy for your customers to find the help they need with automated knowledge base suggestions. This way a ticket is not created saving your team time.
-
You won't be scolded here for asking for help. You have come to the right place. You might like to work from a template like this one. There is a whole page of Trello boards to get inspiration from here.

Welcome! There is a lot to learn here, and not just about Atlassian products.
-
I love this!

At my last workplace we focused on our preference over our behaviour. I ended up with ISFJ - the Practical Helper. When I read out my results one of my teammates said "But Kat doesn't have feelings!" The look on the facilitator's face was priceless. I found the reaction funny but she expected me to be upset.

I was very disappointed that I was unable to take the paper on psychometric testing during my degree due to timetable clashes. Assessments like these can help people work together when they are used to help facilitate a shared vocabulary. They can be mis-used though especially during the recruitment process.

@Vijaya Bhaskar V - for accreditation your team works through the courses in the order of Operations, Sales, then Technical Sales. The good news is that Operations is a sub-set of the requirements for Sales, and Sales is a sub-set of the requirements for Technical Sales. Contact the Atlassian team for your questions about…

@Ed Letifov _TechTime - New Zealand_ will be representing us in Vienna.

Lots of great advice and a few things I don't do but know I should.

We still do not have things integrated as nicely as when we were using HipChat. A barrier for us is having time to read the fine print to make sure data is not going anywhere else if we add an integration. Some integrations pull data from Jira and pushes it to Slack via their own servers. On my to-do list is finding an…

I was very surprised when our last new hire was able to follow the instructions and long in the first time without any issues. Getting access the first time can quirky. * Try in a different browser (as this is the first troubleshooting step offered by Atlassian). * Send an email to support through the partner portal.

It is interesting to also think about which of the valuable things we are willing to put on hold and for how long. For me work-life balance cannot go on hold for more than a couple of days at a time and not that frequently. I have willingly forgone interesting work and growth opportunities for extended periods of time for…

TechTime will be there and there is a rumour (this one I am trying to start now) we will have a new app available for Jira Server.
-
The TechTime team completed and shared our results from https://www.playbuzz.com/georgiahuiz10/which-dictator-are-you? A slightly more serious test we tried was https://mycreativetype.com/ where the number of makers and producers was not as high as we might expect from the developers!

Someone I use to work with has shared his thoughts on this topic here.

Thanks for the mention Bridget. This has really made my day!
-
Oooh - so very exciting. I like the Community and I win an award because the community likes me :) @Max Foerster - K15t - does the badge you are thinking off look something like this ...

Certifications don't show up on our Atlassian community profiles (yet, right @Monique vdB ?)

Today is my first day in the office for 4 weeks. It also marks the first time in 4 weeks I have logged into the Atlassian Community! I made a promise to myself that I would not log into any work-related applications while I was on leave. I might have peeked at my emails a couple of times to make sure no customers had gone…

My husband and I disagree whether checking the Atlassian Community in the weekend (and posting) counts as work or not. Writing articles and blog posts can be fun work that creeps into personal time.
-
Sure, there are times where I need to work overtime or on the weekend, but that should be the exception to the rule, not a normal occurrence. This is something I have made a point to mention in job interviews for the last few years. It has never put off a manager I wanted to work with.

BBQs seem to be fancy these days. I am a fan of the classic red meat cooked outside at high heat. No fancy spices or sauces. Served with bread, Watties tomato sauce, and maybe some salads for me to ignore.

Isn't it nice when hard work pays off? Congratulations. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Great work @Cody Stevens

Oooh - mysterious badge earning requirements. @Monique vdB Please confirm any groups we have joined before today count towards "join at least three of our groups".
