@[deleted] thanks for the feedback - I appreciate it. I hope to write a fourth article in this series about the common agile and scrum terms that are not in the offical scrum guide sometime soon.

The first question on the Summit app will be "who has hand sanitiser for swag give aways?" :P (Who knew there were already tons of options?) I wonder if there will be branded surgical masks? I, for one, will be endorsing the business fist bump over handshakes! * Please forgive my dark sense of humour if it offends you.

Hi @Gary_Weis I wrote about this here saying: the sprint backlog provides flexibility for the Development Team as they are only communicating a short-term forecast and stability for the Stakeholders as they know what they can expect to be available next. Talk to your Product Owner about the importance of Trust when working…

Is that a glass pod with a super comfy yellow chair to sit in while on the phone? Does something like that exist in your office? I could sit there all day if I had my laptop and a cup of tea! I wouldn't even notice the see-through walls after the first few minutes. Great article!

Migrations here are typically referring to either: * moving from one platform t another i.e. Jira Cloud <--> Jira Server <--> Jira Data Centre, or * Merging multiple instances of the same product together i.e. going from 3 Jira Server instances to a single Jira Server instance, or * a combination of both of the above…

@carrie_eandm - there is a virtual Summit experience available too. Watch out for details closer the the time.

@Alexey Matveev - is this guy on cPrime's payroll? If not, he has definitely earned some swag for this great article.

With Jira Server you have two options when you licenses expire: * purchase new licenses at the current price * renew your existing licenses as the "lower" renewal price HOWEVER renewal is always form the existing license expiry date so sometimes it is cheaper to purchase new licenses.

Love the article, love the ACP sticker (my favourite from Summit 2019) and love the award - it is so pretty as well as being meaningful.

Hi @Nathaniel Simpson - I know a couple of people who have followed this plan successfully and others who have passed AC-600 (it's not an ACP) following the same process but in a shorter timeframe but putting more time into it each week. I and one of my workmates were able to pass two Atlassian Certifications and complete…

@Nathaniel Simpson - I'd love to hear from anyone who has used this plan. For various reasons, no one in my team has started studying towards ACP-200 since I put this plan together,

* Comfortable shoes - be prepared for a lot of walking. * A drinking vessel for water and hot drinks. * Layers of clothing - it can be cold sometimes in the large event space. * A bag to carry swag * A phone to access the Atlassian Event app (logins available ~2 weeks before the event) * Pace yourself - get rest, eat and…

I was very sad when Tempo removed the Confluence graphs is used to use to track projects. Dashboards are okay but not as useful a embedded graphs with other project details.

8) A bolt of lightning can reach 53,540 degrees Fahrenheit. That’s 5 times hotter than the surface of the sun, which is 10,340 degrees Fahrenheit. In Celcius the temperatures are 29727 degrees and 5727 degrees respectively. This does *not* help me comprehend these temperatures any better than the temperatures in Fahrenheit.

My second favourite sticker from Summit 2019 was "More No. Less WIP", however some people like to let tickets "marinate".
-
Yay - it has been a while since we have had a pet thread.

Thanks for looking into this with me @Jodi LeBlanc . I added the atlassian-authors tag to the other 3 articles (and my older ones). Hopefully @Monique vdB can help me figure out what "i" I did not dot or "t" I did not cross.

Thanks @Teodora V _Warsaw Dynamics_ and @Jodi LeBlanc but I'm still missing something. Clearly imitating @Andy - PTC Redundant 's Trello board was not enough to keep count.
-
To me, if you wait until 1 January to make a change you don't really want to change. Why delay taking action otherwise? P.S. Fun Man Andy! Surely you could have found a more wholesome example than that!
-
Whew - I think I did it! At least I have according to my Trello board.

Another epic article, both interesting and informative. you should write a textbook. Oh wait, here it is:

What a fantastic badge idea and such worthy recipients.

Fantastic article! I love your House Vision Board. Minor FYI: It is spelt "Asperger's" as it is a person's name. Off-topic FYI: This diagnosis is no longer being given (but of course is still valid for anyone who received it in the past) as both DSM-V and ICD have moved to Autism Spectrum Disorder including what would have…
