Good practice to always check who gets notified! Email notifications become cumbersome very soon when there's no maintenance around this.

I don't think so, if I understand correctly. The lower granularity for permissions in Confluence are pages. However, there is an app for confidential content that you can password protect. It will hide a specific piece of information until the user authenticates.…

Have you tried the blog post macro @corinne goodman ? https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/insert-the-blog-posts-macro/

Fun video and good intro to commenting @Matt Reiner _K15t_ ! Looking forward to more pieces.

Go ahead and create a change tracker for us @Stavros

Glad to help!

There might be a conflict if you are using a different account from within the same domain in that browser session. Could that be the case?
-
If you are using Confluence Cloud and have Office 365 accounts, I suggest embedding the word documents directly. It will mean less effort and stress. Communardo has a very nice Sharepoint/ OneDrive integration that allows to do this and they are very responsive to feature requests. There are other similar apps but I have…

Really looking forward to inline comments working as suggestions too.

What were the results of the focus group? It'd be interesting to have any insights.

Coming in way too late into this. But I have a great meet-less experience: as a remote worker, I really enjoy when there are bank holidays in our headquarters. I can then plan for focused work and go uninterrupted the full day.

Hi @Fede Baronti -Deiser- , how are the plans going on this area?

The Confluence Cloud team is working very hard at improving the UI. But honestly, this is a fundamental aspect that I doubt will become a top priority -- once you get used to Confluence, you essentially learn to work around it. Depending on your use case, it can be helpful to work on document reviews on gdocs and embedding…

Can't wait to play with the Think Tilt forms for our service desk!

Interesting use case. Let's see if our experts can help you. Welcome to the community!

@Heather Blue It's as Tazo says, you can't really track changes individually. The main reason is that the nature of Confluence is being a collaborative wiki. Every user with permission to edit is supposed to contribute towards an always living document. If you really need to track changes for approvals, you may have to…

For those interesting in the long history of Team Central, here's an old slideshare of when it was Project Central and was only used as an internal setup in Jira. https://www.slideshare.net/GoAtlassian/cutting-through-the-noise-breaking-down-hierarchical-communication-channels-and-silos

Creating jira issues and confluence comments from Jira would be the ultimate feature here.
-
@Ben WernerI suggest you stay tuned to the upcoming release of Jira Work Management, which seams like will have important capabilities to align cross-functional teams. Finally, there will be a native calendar in Jira... just my two cents.

Are the users that you want as contributors inside your organization and do they have a Confluence license? If the answer to both questions is yes, then you don't need to do anything besides making sure that the permissions for that space and page allow users to read and edit. Are you using Confluence Cloud or Server/Data…
-
@amod.kulkarnidepending on the scope of your project you could consider creating a team project, which can be administered without any specific permissions.

Hi, Nelly! Welcome to the Atlassian Community. I believe what you want to do is publishing your page to the public so that customers and anonymous users can access it and read it. If that's the case, you can find the info in this docu https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/make-a-space-public-829076202.html Otherwise please…

@Dave LIAOHow would you solve that requirement to have coordinated fixVersion insights currently with Marketplace apps?
-
Looking forward to more on JPD and Compass!

So many creators!!

Good initiative, guys!
-
Yes! This goes in the right direction, which is minimizing the amount of time and interactions that take the user away from the page. More focus, less distractions, more quality work. What I'd like to see at some point is the disappearance of the distinction between editing mode and reading mode or at least some kind of…

Well, that's partially because: * offering an easy migration path is a great customer acquisition tactic for Notion, with a smaller user base and increasing word of mouth. They are also putting a lot of money on ads against Confluence, so it's an important piece of their current strategy. * The Confluence page structure…

Thanks, Darren! I think it does, thanks for clarifying!

Hi, I see many folks asking about a migration from notion to Confluence, but if you think of it with some detail it's a very tough thing to ask. There's not a 1:1 equivalence between what both tools do, so whether a migration is possible or not would depend to a high extent on what type of content you guys have on notion…
