What info about each user would you like to sync from AD? Depending on what it is I can recommend different apps. The suggestion from Aaron is a really good starting point. Are your tickets deals? Are all of them associated to a company for example?
-
Yes, this is a good one!
-
I did not know that. I know they eat lots of cheese for dessert though.

My old company used to have Jira as a CRM. It was alright, but at a certain point they migrated to a dedicated solution that was more helpful for marketing activities. You can create JQL reports and have those in dashboards, the question is how you would associate that to a specific user. Would you have an owner custom…

Confluence is a great place to start. You have two types of elements to discuss: - Inline comments. These are anchored to specific pieces of information and can generated threaded discussions. - Page comments. These refer to the entire page and can also generate threads of discussions. I don't recommend using Jira as a…

Love the individual SLA!

Squid risotto is a rough equivalent that I also enjoy. The recipe's a bit different I think!
-
Ok so the way it works is that child pages will be created in descending chronological order. The latest page will be last. Is this what you want or the opposite of what you want?
-
Let me give it a try and see if I can find a way.

Happy to help!

Arroz con calamares en su tinta. Don't ask me how to say that in English

Have you tried getting in touch with the vendor directly? The app doesn't have many installs so I doubt you will find many other customers in here with the right experience. Here's their info on their marketplace https://marketplace.atlassian.com/vendors/1217239/vico

Hi @Robin Cai Can you please clarify whether you're trying on Confluence Server/Data Center or Cloud? It's very different...

This is great! Much needed feature and love that it just fits into the standard permissions structure. I wonder if it makes sense to assign temporary licenses for guests. I doubt that a high percentage of customers need prolonged collaboration that extends over a year, for example. It just doesn't make so much sense to me…

I think you're doing everything right and templates don't work retroactively. However, if you find out some other way, please let me know, as this would be interesting for me as well.

Always happy to learn from the experts, @Simone Avogadro . You can write me a message to j.capitel@resolution.de

Thanks for the praise and for the comment, @Jack Brickey! Do you feel that there are implications for availability in not having a centralized identity architecture? Or can you offer the same level of access with parcels of Identity Providers for different sets of users?
-
Thanks, @M Amine!
-
It is! Thanks for the contribution @Emre Toptancı _OBSS_ !
-
Hi @Emre Toptancı _OBSS_ , Interesting app! However, you may want to consider discussing alternative solutions to the problem or moving this article to the Marketplace Apps section ;)
-
Hi @sara_oconnell We only use Scroll Viewport for our external documentation (which, by the way, is still in a Server instance). Feel free to browse it at https://wiki.resolution.de/doc. I was not at the company when we did the Viewport project, so I will have to ask about the theme. We do have a great technical SEO…

Thanks for your comment, John! Yes, handling guest users can be both expensive and complex. It does seem that right now a strong Identity Management program with Atlassian tools has quite a price tag, no matter whether you look at cloud or at on-prem, where we have our stronghold.
-
Ciao Simone! Grazie per i commenti! You make a very strong argument for federation and raise a last and very critical limitation with the unaffordable pricing. Let's see, as you say more and more companies are seeing IDM as a core piece of their strategy, so perhaps we'll find new vendors filling in the gaps for those…
-
Good points @Lem, I hope they are picked up. The goal for me as a user is to remove as much as possible the back and forth between view and edit modes.
-
I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere by Atlassian, I think it's more likely that a Marketplace vendor grabs it. However, in order for anyone to do that it would be essential to better understand requirements. That's why I'm asking for some clarity here.
-
No worries @James Conway
-
Great article @Daniel Ebers , thanks for sharing! Do you find that the governance board needs to go very technical sometimes to make decisions about how to standardize and simplify the instance?
-
Yeah, but I understand that you don't want users just contributing randomly to pages because they want to be on that list...
-
Intriguing... I've been unable to find how it works for Confluence Cloud. For Server and Data Center, it's a funny dynamic mechanism that changes from page to page, so it would seem like you can't do what you want without scripting. Yeah, you will have to use an add-on. Comala Workflow is another great name in the marketplace, I believe it's now much easier to implement. Apparently the app is now called Document Management. It's a good change, more specific to what it solves.
