Hello @Maja Uecker You should be able to create as many hierarchies in Portfolio as needed. You can find the steps to go about it here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jiraportfoliocloud/how-to-create-a-new-hierarchy-level-in-portfolio-for-jira-941618926.html

Hello @Jim Bottrell You can set notifications for any user to be updated when changes to issues occur. You can find the details on how to set these up here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/configuring-email-notifications-938847633.html

See ... now I really really want to try to go to Summit xD
-
That being the case they won't be notified in the way you intend. The notifications system will only allow you to receive notifications about updates/changes happening on instances you have access to.
-
I'll be running a mini-trial of this with the team in the coming weeks. I'll post a little something on it :D
-
For the mail handler, there is a restriction on who can send mails that will actually execute something. You wouldn't want ANYONE being able to create issues in your instance by default through a default mail handler. You can see in the docs for the incoming mail that custom mail handlers can be configured with the Create…

Ah!! This made my morning :D
-
Indeed a good suggestion! And yes, I would recommend you put it through as a feature request/product suggestion for the new issue view 🚀
-
I'll have to try ;)
-
Within that thread, I think a good solution for you to try out is the implementation of the post function on transition to your 'Done' state: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Burndown-on-custom-status/qaq-p/303998#M249450 Should be efficient :)
-
However, team A are not recognized as users on the instance of team B?
-
The add flag you see is a different concept. That is for flagging issues, to mark them or help highlight them for a reason. Is it possible that the done status is no longer a resolved state in your workflow?
-
Hello @Mateusz Lisiewicz I believe you can find this thread holds the information you are looking for: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Extracting-JIRA-issues-into-pre-defined-word-template/qaq-p/10829

🚀Thanks for the update!
-
Hello @yaroslav Are you asking for cross-instance notifications?
-
Atlassian's bet in building an ecosystem around its suite of products is a top bet that has led the company from its early days ❤️Together is how we rock!
-
Given Atlassian is well known for its marketplace and closeness with the ecosystem vendors, what do you have in mind?
-
Hmmmm 🤔 We don't have one. Nor had I ever thought of something like this! Very interesting :D
-
@Tony San Nicolas, did @Álisson Dalmago comment help you out?
-
SHIP IT!!!!!!! 🚀♥️
-
Good to start with indeed. However, I would recommend jumping into some of the doc pages after playing a bit, and before breaking things too much ;) Good page to catch up on the structure configurations take in Jira and why :) https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/configuring-issues-776636329.html
-
Ah! life saver :D
-
Same here! I can see myself using that lovely diagram at some point in the near future ;)
-
Hello @Tarang This has actually started shipping to production! Confluence now holds the concept of teams and the people groupings ripple across products. Expect team mentions to be everywhere in a while!!! 🚀
-
Hello @[deleted] For completion of the thread, did you get to the bottom of this?
-
My ... I'm an advocate for a good balance of both. Personally, I find there are different types of tasks that require either my undivided attention or for me to be bouncing ideas around with those around me. If you ask any of my colleagues, I spend a good amount of time jumping from my desk to someone else's or rolling…

I'd love to see more teams do this sort of thing! Within Atlassian, the JSD community is well-known for its teaming activities. One of my favorite, French wine, and cheese Fridays MMMmm 🤤

Hello @Edie Nikkar Every team I've been on has not one, but several team pages. My current team has: * team structure and mission* names, goals, roadmap ... * social contract* page where we all state the time of the day we prefer to work at, time of the day for meetings, favourite poison, coffee/tea, muffins/doughnuts, ...…

I've really enjoyed reading through your journey. It has been a will since you wrote the article. Would you have anything to add? Expert learnings, team collaboration tips or 'retro' notes of "what we could have done differently?" ...
