Hi Although I don't think that it is useful that the assignee can only the issues that are assigned to him, you could do this by using an issue security scheme. Create a new scheme, add the assigned and probably some other user that assigns the issues to the security level and then assign the scheme to your project.

Hi Eric, I think this can be configured, so it depends on the settings in your site.

Hi, You can reactivate the account and then just remove the groups that are giving her the application access, i.e. jira-software-users. If you remove the groups, no licence will be used but she should be able to use the service desk

Hi @Robert St. Laurent , Welcome to the community. With what you said, I would prefer option two. One project per book, then you can have components and versions specific to the book. And if needed, you can have other project configuration specific for a book. In the board, you can show issues from as many projects as you…

Hi Eya, Welcome to the community. What is your understanding of the automation server. If only this server should send something to jira, you can probably put it in the LAN, as I'm guessing that the server can reach jira from there. If it is a bidirectional communication, you have to make sure, that both servers can reach…

The available issue types are configured in thr issue type scheme, so if you want other other issue types, you will have to change the scheme also. The issue type screen scheme configures, which screens are connected with which issue types. So if it has a different screen for an issue type, that should already appear.

Hi Soldier, The second one will have to get the latest version from bitbucket with pull, before he pushes his changes to the repository. So he has your changes and will have to merge them. He then pushes the merged changes to the repository. This way, in the repository is always the last pushed version.

Hi @Rob , If you create a new project, there should be a link "create with shared configuration " on the bottom if the screen where you select the type of the project. In the next screen, you can select your test project.

@Olga Shprygova , Yes, the field must be unique in the whole site. @Anastasiia Shevchenko ,great to hear that.

They do not appear on the board, if they are in the backlog column. Of you have the backlog in Kanban enabled, the items in the first column will only appear in the backlog and not on the board. The second column is available in the backlog and on the board. In the backlog, you move the items that should be done next from…
-
Hi @submeg , This can not be disabled, but you'll need to configure the columns of the board so the the backlog column contains only the backoog items.
-
Hi @Anastasiia Shevchenko , Welcome to the community. It seems that you have more that one field that is named severity. So the rule don't know which one to update. So you'll have to check your custom fields and rename the fields, so that there is only one severity left.

Hi Soldier, Welcome to the community. There are two things that can happen, either it can be merged automatically or ot. If not, you'll have to do that yourself. To make development easier, you are usually using different branches,so that it doesn't come to conflicts so often Here you can read a little bit more about it.…

@Elizabeth Howden , My two answers https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Atlassian-Cloud-Migration/Best-way-to-migrate-projects-config-and-addons-from-cloud-to/qaq-p/1310674 https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Atlassian-Cloud-Migration/Dashboard-link-not-working/qaq-p/1064029 And my comment is here…

Hi @Isoke Salaam , We are only usual users here, so we can't access the url you provided. But it seems, that you just shared the generic dashboard url, not a specific one. So it will show the dashboard that the user last watched or the default dashboard if the user had not been on your site before.

Hi @vcatl2020 , I think this will be a good starting point for you. https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/migrating-from-jira-cloud-to-server-776636236.html And here is a similar one for confluence. https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/migrate-from-confluence-cloud-to-server/ You should check if…
-
Hi @Maren , Thanks for getting this together. I think its really helpful to have this two on one place as a starting point.

Great news, thank you very much. Can't wait to have it here.

Hi @GameDev , Sorry for the late response. As far as I know, it is like this. For Jira, you can use site export and import, no matter if it is connected to Confluence or not. For Confluence, you can not import the whole backup if you are connected to Jira. But you can import per Space. So you can import one or many spaces,…

Hmm, ok, thats weird. Then I'm getting out of ideas also.

If I recall correct, there where different versions of the driver available and there where multiple files in the driver archive. Did you choose the right one and copied the right file from the archive?
-
Hi @David Stevens , If the message still appears, it seems that java can not find the jar. So maybe you can double check, if it is there and if the user under which jira is running can read it (has the same permissions like the other files). For this it is not important if you access Jira remote or from the local host.
-
Hi Paul, Yes, that's right, you'll have to go to 8.5.1 in that case. But this are only minor updates and does not require an update of the major version The benefits of LTS releases are in my opinion * The are more stable then usual releases, because the the extra extensive tested * They are longer supported then usual…
-
Hi @Jan Sękara , you should be able to achieve this by creating a second field configuration where the field is marked as required and then add this field configuration the field configuration scheme for the issue type where it should be required.
-
Hi @Kiran Patil , welcome to the community. You should have a look in the log-files for fisheye, if there are any errors / warnings, that might help you to find out, what the problem is.
-
Hi @Kathleen Hahn , Welcome to the community. You can remove issues from the done column automatically after a period of time. To do this, just go to the board configuration. There is on the very bottom of the general configuration the board sub filter. There should be an option to select after what time the issues should…

Hi, You can try to put the toc macro inside an info box macro for example, then the bullet point should be gone. This works at least sometimes.
-
As far as I know, you have to do that in two steps.

Hi @Mark Wallace , It is not possible to change the URL. But you can create a backup and import the backup in a site with the new URL. See also here https://confluence.atlassian.com/confeval/other-atlassian-evaluator-resources/atlassian-cloud-site-url

Hi @GameDev , You can create full site backups from the administration area. You can do this all 48 hours. But you can only restore the whole backup. But what cases do you want to cover? Each change of a page is versioned and can be restored. Each deleted page is in the trash of the space and can be restored by a space…
