Hi @[deleted] , you already asked this question already here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Are-post-function-not-imported-with-workflow/qaq-p/1028562 Please do not ask the same question multiple times.

Hi @Victoria Danner , I think there are a lot of ways to achieve this. You can use a custom field as you already though of. You can also create another issue type "Super Epic" and link the created issues using the link issue feature. And there are apps, that will make it easier, for example Structure (available as early…

Did you install it as a service? Try systemctl restart atlbitbucket

I got my Badge for February on 1st March, does that count? :-D

If i remember correct, it should be the same like on server, just go to the application settings tab in the administration area and there you should be able to add Jira Software to your instance.
-
Hi @Truss Robinson , I just removed the post from spam quarantine.

Hi, Maybe there is an issue that your server can't connect to the internet. You can try to download it to your computer and then upload it to confluence as workaround.
-
Hi @KRC , I think it depends. You probably choose DC Edition of Jira Service Desk for some reason. If this reasons are important for Jira Software, you should use DC for Software also. If not, you might take the decision in regards to the integration. If you want to integrate Software and Service Desk, it is a lot easier…

Hi @nati108 , it is a bit unclear, what exactly the "coded" status is. If you just want to know, which issues the developer is or has been assigned, you could use the "was" operator. something like "assignee was ..." https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwarecloud/advanced-searching-operators-reference-764478341.html

Hi @Leo Li , Welcome to the community. I think you are referring to the epic link field, right? As you can link stories to epics from other projects, I don't think there is a way to avoid this, as it works as designed.
-
Hi @Spencer N , What error do you get? Please also have a look on your log files (JIRA-HOME/logs/atlassian-jira.log. Even if you activated your license, you can delete your application data , it doesn't matter if you get a new server ID. But you will loose existing data that way. If you just want to setup your database…

A lot of love and hugs from Bremen in Germany. Have a lovely weekend everybody.

Hi @Anderson Hsu, If you can't access confluence from home, maybe you can export the pages to PDF and take that files home.
-
Hi @ninada, Of course you can do that as XML is clear text. You must take care to replace the names only in the right places. Maybe using the REST API is an alternative, that will probably cause less problems. You can automate this API Calls and change all the users at once, and confluence itself will take care, that all…

Hi @Robert Leachman, If you just want to give the read access to all issues in the service desk project, you don't even need issue security. You can add users to a project, that do not have the service desk agent role. This users will have a restricted access at all, but are generally able to add internal comments for…

Hi @Venugopala Naidu, Welcome to the community.
-
Right, this will work very well.
-
Then you are using the wrong credentials. Here is a description how to retrieve the admin password https://confluence.atlassian.com/jira/retrieving-the-jira-administrator-192836.html?_ga=2.223486235.1067631336.1549487586-1906042306.1529481098

Hi @Linda Fiato, Welcome to the community. What errors do you get? We are only end users here, so we can only help with the information you give us.
-
Something I want to add to Jack's answer, make sure to use the Jira Service Desk mail configuration and not the one from Jira core. If you are using Jira core settings currently, you probably have set it to create a user for the email sender and that won't work with your license. In Jira Service Desk there will be only…

I'm not sure with which version this feature has been delivered exactly, but if you can update to 7.13.x, it will be definitely there.

Hi @Jennifer Boerio, Welcome to the community. Why do you want to use Kanban if you want to have sprints? Just use a scrum board with sprints and use it as if it would be Kanban Board.
-
Which version of Jira are you using. In the current version, you can add editors to the dashboard in its config.
-
Hi @Michael Voegtle, Welcome to the community. For Jira, there is no difference if you are using a evaluation license or a paid one. And in regards to the database, I guess, you are using the integrated H2 database at the moment. You can use that database with a license and you can use SQL Server with evaluation. So at…
-
Hi @Sol Alfaro, Welcome to the community. I don't get what you want to do. Do you want to give your team the ability to configure the dashboard, I.e. change gadgets or something like that?
-
Can you try, if you can reach Jira from Jenkins at all, so that we can be sure, that it is not a connection/proxy problem.
-
Hi @Anvesh Kagithaala, as long as you do not provide any more information, nobody will be able to help you.
-
You go to Jira-Settings -> Projects -> Projects. Then there should be a list of all Projects, even to ones you do not have permission to. With the three dots at the end, you can get to the project settings.
-
Hi @James Miesner, Being the Site Admin does not give you the permission to view all projects, only to administer all projects. You should be able to go to the Project Settings of that project and make sure, that you are in a role, that has the browse project permission, then you should see that project again.

Sorry for the delay, I've been busy all day. I just send you an email, so that we can continue there.
