Hi @Daj Oberg , Welcome to the community. You can just try ... and status =! Backlog if the backlog status is the only one you don't work on. Or try status not in (status1, status2) to exclude status1 and status 2

Hi @Shawn Wallace , Each Servicedesk project has a portal page. And yes, you can create an issue using the create button.
-
You can use the same database server, but you'll need a own database for JSM.
-
Hi @Tom Gross , You can install both on the same server, but you have to install them as different applications. You can not install JSM Data Center into the Jira SW Server application, because in one application the license type must match. Said that, as they will be different applications, the integration is not as tight…

In the project configuration there is a setting for the customer permissions. There you must set it so that only added customer are allowed. Then you have to check the customer section in the project. If there are still all customers and users listed, you have to remove them. But usually there should be only a few customer…

Hi Denise, it says: You can create issue security levels within issue security schemes to let you and your team control who can see particular issues. When you associate an issue security scheme with a project, you can apply its security levels to issues in that project. Subtasks inherit the security level of their parent…

Hi @[deleted] , You have to make sure that the customer permissions are set, so that only the customers, that are added to the project are allowed. Then make sure they are not added as customers to project 2. Then they should not be able to see that project in Help Center. In the customer permissions you can also set with…
-
Hi @Michele Zaben , You can just set the customer permissions so that only customers added to the project are allowed and make sure that no customers are added in the customer section. Then they can't see it in the portal.

Bingo
-
Hi @Alexei Enshin , As you are on a self hosted version, you'll have to reach out to your administrator and ask them why its not available.
-
I really hope that it'll be an in-person event, but actually I don't believe that it'll really happen. But fingers crossed and always look on the bright side of life.
-
Thank you very much @Jimmy Seddon , many really interesting articles you linked here.

Love it, thanks a lot for this.

Hi Denise, If you use only different boards, every vendor is able to see all issues if they want to, for example if they use issue search. If you want to make sure, that each vendor can only see their issues, you have to use issue security. Here you can find more information about…

Hmm, thats weird, there should be all groups available. I think this is a bug and you should reach out to support on support.atlassian.com/contact
-
Hi @Denise , The dashboards are shared with the same users the underlying filter is shared with. So you have to make sure that the filter is shared only with one vendor. You could use groups for that and create a group for each vendor. But you should keep in mind, that even if you restrict a board to each vendor, they are…

Hi @[deleted] , Welcome to the community. The customer could try to go the customer portal url and try to reset his password there using the email address you added to the organisation. Then he should get a password reset email with a link where he can set his password and should be able to log-in afterwards.

2019 in Las Vegas was my first Summit. In 2018 I've been in Barcelona, but only for Partner Day/Community Leader Workshop, so this counts only half. Next to this, I've been on one or two Team Tour Events. As 2019 was the first and only one I could attend completely, that's the one remembered most.

I think, the Sprint report will help you most for that. Or, if you are using story points and want to know how much you have done in the past, the Velocity Report.
-
Jira does also have a time tracking built in. If that is enabled, you have two fields, Original estimate and remaining estimate. You could put a time estimation like 3days in there and everytime you work on the issue, you log some work and the remaing estimate will be decreased until it reaches zero. If the remaining…
-
Hi @amira bouali , Welcome to the community. You should put the estimation you accepted as team there. The reason to usually use story points is not to use the time estimation for planning. If you want to track against an time estimation, you should use original and remaining estimation.

There are always both ways available in Jira., so you should be able to create a classic (or with the new name, company owned ) project. If you are on the Create Project Screen, click on choose another template. Below the templates, there should be a button to switch from next-gen to classic projects.
-
Hi, it should be close to the end of the menu. Or do you have a next-gen project? There the issue security schemes are not yet support, here you can watch und vote for the issue to get this to next gen projects: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-18843
-
Hi @Bernardo Sobrino , Here you can find all supported databases for Jira https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/supported-platforms-938846830.html and for Confluence https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/supported-platforms-207488198.html Make sure to select the right Version of Jira and Confluence on the pages.…
-
Hi @Anatoly Tsemryuk , Welcome to the community. Yes, you can do that with issue security. You have to create an issue security scheme and add two levels there, one that allows all users in a project to view the issue and one, that allows only the assignee (and maybe you or the project lead) to view the issue. Then assign…
-
Hi @Richard Morgan , This is already there. Your reporters just have to use the customer portal. If they click there next to their profile picture, there should be a "My Requests" menu entry. There they can see all their requests they ever created.
-
Hi, Maybe you could csv export and import for this. Search for all issues that has to be updated, and export them to csv. Then edit the csv and add a column for the story points. This should be possible using a formula in MS Excel for example. Then you can re-import the csv. If you have the issue I'd in the csv, it will…

Hi @tscoggin , I don't think that you can download all attachments directly. But maybe the Space Export is a workaround. There you can choose to include all attachments and then download this all as zip file. You will have to extract the files then. But I'm not sure, if the filenames are preserved this way.
-
Hi, You can import spaces, one at a time, and use the space export for that. Or you import a complete backup choosing to restore a site. But that will overwrite all existing data. For this, you need a full backup. You can not import spaces from a full backup.
-
Hi @ilyapoleschuk You have to create a space export and not a complete backup, if you want to restore only one space. For this, go to the space, space settings and then export. There you can create a space export.
