Awesome, thanks @Angélica Luz

@Emily Spitzer, it may not be part of the view.If you click the "where's my field" button in the issue view you can see if it is included. Note...you may need to be a jira-administrator to do this...I'l working from memory as I watch Jeopardy ;) -Scott

Hi @Emily Spitzer I don't see a way to add issues directly from the board; that is probably by design since the scrum backlog is normally built from the product backlog during planning. But...if you have the sprint field enabled for the issue type and part of the issue edit view you can add it to the active sprint/scrum…

@Mitzi Fox and @Gemma Sole, unfortunately this is a known issue that has not been corrected yet. For more information you can review the ticket at JRACLOUD-69324. In the meantime, Atlassian has a process to correct it on your systems. I've created a support ticket with Atlassian for you, if you don't hear from them soon…

Thanks @Mike Waters Since it is not a permissions issue it could be a problem with a global issue type that is associated with the Scrum/Kanban projects. I'll check with the other Champions to see if we can get some more help. -Scott
-
@Angélica Luz, could you or @Maddie add the ticket number or link to this answer? That will be helpful when others run into similar issues. Thanks, -Scott
-
Btw...there is a bug recorded for this, you can watch it at SRCTREEWIN-10792 -Scott

Hi @Mitzi Fox, Are you a Jira-Administrator? It could be a permissions issue, since only admins can create classic projects. -Scott

Hi @Spencer Milmine, Thank you for pointing this out. There is a trouble ticket open for this bug, you can watch it at SRCTREEWIN-10792 -Scott

Hi Elke, Jira Core does not support sub projects that roll up to a main project out of the box, you'll need an add-on application like Structure, Big Picture, or Portfolio, and Jira Software. (I don't believe these add-ons will work with Core, but I could be wrong.) On a side note, of you are managing complex software…

Do my answers need to be "accepted" for them to count?

Good news, thanks for sharing the answer!

@[deleted], I believe this is a known bug. You can review the issue here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDSERVER-5839 I suggest adding your vote to it and watching the issue for updates. Hope this helps, -Scott

@Jagriti Sharma, this is good advice...both are good plugins.

@Jagriti Sharma, if you are interested I wrote up some instructions on creating a bi-directional sync between issues. here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Marketplace-Apps-questions/Jira-Backbone-issue-quot-backsync-quot/qaq-p/742781 -Scott

Thank you @Fabienne Gerhard! My grandmother used to make this for us when I visited as a kid. We also has a pre-Lenten tradition of making fasnacht kuechle, but usually on a Saturday so we could use the leftover dough for a kuchen. Warm, happy "grandma" memories :)

I love to cook....pies, cheesecakes, pastries, home baked bread (I have a sourdough starter that I've been "feeding" since high school back in the late '80's) and a bunch more. But to pick a recipe that is distinctly "Cleveland" I'd have to go with the Cleveland Clam Bake. From Today.com: The Cleveland clam bake is a…

@Claire Buckley, if you are interested here are some instructions on how to set up a bi-directional sync with Backbone. https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Marketplace-Apps-questions/Jira-Backbone-issue-quot-backsync-quot/qaq-p/742781 If it helps, I used it to sync from our instance at Parker to a vendor instance. @Dawid Skóra, is this happening for more than one project?

Hi Jeff, It sounds like you may want to use Swimlanes to help manage your epics in a board. For more information you can review this tutorial: https://www.atlassian.com/agile/tutorials/epics. Or...you could tag each epic as part of a release with the Fix Version field, a version report will roll up the story points for…

Note: if you don't have these fields and you are an admin you can click the "Admin" button and select "Where's my field?" then choose "Time Tracking. That will show you all the places the Time Tracking fields need to be enabled in order to show it on the view. -Scott

Thanks @Mike Solomon, I've recreated it as JSWCLOUD-17198.

@Mike Solomon, It looks like you are correct...the functionality does not exist for Next-Gen projects. I've added a suggestion for Atlassian at CONFCLOUD-64328 for you and @Romy Lindenberg. -Scott (BTW...if this helps please mark this answer as "accepted" so others can find it easily.)

@Andy Heinzer, could you please help me understand where the violation from @Steve Terelmesoccurs so I know what to look for in the future? It appears that he is saying "thank you" for the recommendation I made and asking the customer to follow the links that I provided on my original post. While he does ask OP to visit…

Hi @Saloua_Toumi, Do you know if there were any stories in the sprint that were moved to the "done" status multiple times within the sprint? (For example, a story is completed and moved to "done" only to later discover something incomplete; it is then moved back to "in process,' completed, and moved back to "done.") -Scott
