There are so many things I want to do before I leave this planet, including, however briefly, leaving this planet. Some will be more difficult to achieve than others... * Kenya photo safari * Photograph Kutna Hora, Prague * Antarctic Cruise with NatGeo * San Diego Comic-Con * Food Fight at La Tomatina in Bunin, Spain *…

Hi @Natalia Mojica This may be a long shot, but... The error message is "summary" while the field name is "Summary." Is it possible that you have two fields with the same name but different capitalization, and that the lowercase "summary" field is required and not on the view? -Scott

There are so many interesting trees and tree species in the world; as a wood worker and wannabe carpenter I enjoy working with wenge, zebrawood, purpleheart, and others with cool grain or uniquie colors. BUt for the most interesting I'm going with the koa tree, and specifically the Kona Hema Preserve on the island of…

* You'll have 22 working days off and 4 extra days for special occasions. What is a "working day off?"

I have several lilac and magnolia trees in my garden, along with a number of roses, mint, hydrangea, and others. But my absolute favorite scent is gardenia.

Hi @shravya chinthapatla Can you share the filter you are using to pull issues into the board?
-
Hi @lindsay.makin Do you have admin access to Jira or are you an admin for the board? If you are not an admin for the board you won't be able to adjust the columns (even if you are a Jira admin). If you click on the ellipses mentioned above by @celsocos you should be able to go into the board settings to see who the admins…

I like having a visual way to move stuff around the board too. But in this case it sounds like Jeevabharathi has a "done" status and a "done done" status, which supports dysfunction within the team. Stories are either done when they are delivered to the release team/process to package up and put into Prod or they are done…
-
It sounds like you are using the statuses to indicate which issues are ready to be put into production and which have been moved to prod. I suggest instead adding a custom checkbox field for "Moved to Prod" and take that status out of the workflow. That would allow you to create your prod releases by pulling everything…

Thanks @Trudy P Claspill I suspected as much, but thanks for confirming.

Hi Anitha, I run into something like this quite a bit, and nearly every time the issue is with the filter permissions. Here's some steps: * Open the board. Click the ellipses ("...") in the top right corner * Select "Board settings" * Under the "General" settings item from the list on the left, find the "Filters" section *…

That's awesome, Trina! You can reach me at scott.theus@gmail.com, from there we can make arrangements for a virtual meet-up.
-
Of course! I was a community leader a few years ago, so I totally get it :) I had a conversation with out Cloud product team and they might arrange a POC for it if there is a need, but for now it's not going anywhere. Putting on my Agile Coach hat, in the end, automation would be cool, but it is more important that the…

This is great, @Patricia Francezi_iDev_ , thank you! I'll read through it and share what I find. -Scott

Hi @Peo Olsson I think I may be able to help with a different way to look at this. At its very base level, Jira is just a tool to track work items. Whether those work items are front end, back end, or both doesn't matter to the tool; they are just things that need to be done by the team. In an Agile framework like Scrum,…

Hi Uli This is configured on a project by project bases. You can find it by going to the project, opening the project settings, and clicking "Layout" under the Issues menu list in the left navigation panel. Click "Edit Issue Layout" on the right for the issue type(s) you want to modify. More information on this can be…

That worked, Stephen, thanks! Is this a bug?

I wrote an article about this a few years ago, it should still be relevant... https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Agile-articles/Managing-Multiple-Projects-in-a-Single-Board-or-One-Scrum-to/ba-p/1035297 Let us know if you have any questions or if the info does not fit your need. -Scott

To verify...are you asking about how to have an issue that is currently on hold to transition back to the status it was before being put on hold? So for example * The workflows has statuses for open, refinement, development, testing, closed, and hold. * All statuses transition to "hold." (Except closed, I'd imagine but…

@Haykaz Nahapetyan Could you please share what you found that was missing? I'm experiencing the same issue.

Thanks @Björn Frauen [STAGIL] I don't have the option to use add-on apps, so I'm hoping for an out of the box solution. -Scott

I'd say any sort of Agile training would be beneficial, but SCRUM may be geared towards software development too much to suit your needs. I suggest instead that you start with a cert that is targeted towards marketing or business agility; IC Agile has a few that would help:…

You may be able to find out what what is blocking the user from creating issues by using the Permission Helper in the Project Settings - Permissions. If nothing obvious comes up right away check the "failed conditions" link. That should tell you what permission the user is missing.

@Alex Koxaras -Relational- In the US we had similar styles...either Members Only jackets or Bomber jackets, Doc Martins, and Converse "Chuck Taylor's," depending on who you hung out with. Fanny packs were everywhere, except in high schools.. At least in my part of the country wearing a fanny pack to school would get you…

Ugh. I was into heavy metal in the mid 80's; the hair bands and glam rock was great when the parents were around, but when they were gone it was usually Anthrax, Dio, or Danzig blaring out of my boom box. At the start of my sophomore year in a Catholic high school I had a great mullet that, unfortunately, was past the…

I've successfully set up a Kanban project to maintain the HR recruiting process where each Jira issue is a job req. If you can map out the workflow for your business process and uniquely identify the item you want to move through that process then Jira will work. In my experience Jira works best with Agile teams, rather…

This was "Battle of the Planets," one of the early anime series to become popular in the U.S. If you grew up with Ben-10 then it's a bit before your time :)
-
That's easy...growing up in the 80's I wanted to be part of this crew.

@Rohan Swami * No support for levels above Epic. ie. You can only have a hierarchy of Subtask-Story-Epic(renamed). I'm having a small heart attack...Could you please confirm that this is for the beta only? We currently have levels above Epic and will be adding another. This is functionality that we cannot lose.

Hi @Bob welcome to the community! Since it looks like you are using an on-prem setup I don't know if you have access to Advanced Roadmaps with your server version. That would be the best way to track multiple projects in one place. There is an awesome article written by a really cool guy a few years ago that may help with…
